The mask has slipped badly\u00a0from the two-faced\u00a0U.S. administration.\u00a0 I have been reporting on the duplicity of the U.S.\u00a0policy\u00a0since\u00a0January 31 when\u00a0President Obama\u00a0sent a high-level C.I.A. man as personal envoy to Egypt.\u00a0 The envoy’s\u00a0father was Frank Wisner Sr.,\u00a0the C.I.A.\u00a0chief\u00a0behind the overthrow of presidents in Iran and Guatemala.\u00a0 Frank Wisner Jr., Obama’s personal envoy to Egypt, openly admitted on February 5 that he supported the Mubarak dictatorship staying in power – while Obama\u00a0was been\u00a0telling\u00a0the world that\u00a0he wanted\u00a0immediate change.\u00a0 Such blatant duplicity reveals the real character of the Obama administration.<\/span><\/p>\n

February 1 – Mubarak speaks on national television saying\u00a0he will step down\u00a0on – in September… while Obama says Egypt\u2019s change of leaders\u00a0must start immediately.\u00a0 “The status quo is not sustainable,” Obama said in comments given after Mubarak’s speech.\u00a0 “An orderly transition must be meaningful, it must be peaceful, and <\/strong><\/span>it must begin now<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d Obama said.\u00a0 The Egyptian\u00a0dictator\u00a0has been America\u2019s most reliable (read pro-Israel)\u00a0ally in the Middle East for 30 years.\u00a0 Mubarak has\u00a0blocked much-needed relief from reaching the besieged Palestinians of Gaza, who\u00a0share a mostly closed border with Egypt.\u00a0 Photo – Barack Obama and Hosni Mubarak at the White House, 1 September 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/a>Mubarak has appointed his intelligence chief, <\/strong><\/span>C.I.A. “partner”\u00a0Omar Suleiman<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u00a0as vice president.\u00a0 Suleiman is clearly the man who\u00a0the C.I.A.\u00a0hopes will replace Mubarak.\u00a0 A senior U.S. intelligence official described\u00a0Suleiman as deeply involved in every aspect of the diplomatic relationship between the two countries, as well as a C.I.A. partner in sensitive programs, including transfers and interrogations (read kidnap and torture)\u00a0of prisoners captured in counterterrorism operations. As the C.I.A. point man in Egypt, Suleiman meets often\u00a0Israeli leaders.\u00a0 Here he shakes hands with Ehud Barak, the war criminal who killed 1,400\u00a0civilians in Gaza as Barack Obama\u00a0became\u00a0president in January 2009.\u00a0 At the time, Obama said he would have plenty to say about Israeli war crimes in Gaza – but has said nothing ever since.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>President Barack Obama sent Frank Wisner of the C.I.A. (Vice Chairman of A.I.G. and director of Enron) to Egypt on January 31 to advise the besieged dictator Hosni Mubarak, who is quickly\u00a0losing control of the nation.\u00a0 Shortly after Obama’s “special envoy” arrived in Cairo, broadcasting equipment was confiscated from foreign journalists (including the BBC) and all roads and rail links to the capital were cut. This is a very dangerous game and reveals the two-faced nature of the Zionist-controlled Obama administration.\u00a0 While Obama talks about supporting “democratic change”, he sends a “dirty tricks” man in a last-ditch effort to prevent the U.S.-funded dictatorship from falling.\u00a0 This desperate and deceitful action by the Obama administration can only harm future relations with Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n

The uprising in Tunisia has spread to Egypt, the most populous and important nation of the Arab world.\u00a0 Massive protests with tens of thousands of people have also broken out in Yemen.\u00a0 Having followed the developments in Tunisia closely on the BBC World Service, I noticed an attitude of unusual concern by the BBC toward the popular uprising that overthrew the Tunisian dictator Ben Ali.\u00a0 When similar uprisings have happened in Eastern Europe or the former Soviet Union they have invariably been praised and promoted as a sign of the progress of western democracy.\u00a0 This supportive attitude, however, was not seen in the BBC coverage uprising in Tunisia.\u00a0 The first question asked (with some concern) of every commentator was always, “Will the unrest in Tunisia spread to Egypt and other Arab nations?”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ehud Olmert and President Mubarak<\/p><\/div>\n

One got the distinct impression that the BBC is somehow afraid of democracy in the Arab world.\u00a0 Their attitude seems to be that the people of the Middle East do not have the same right to demand democratic governments as the people of Europe.\u00a0 Decades of U.S. (and British) support for dictators like Ben Ali and Hosni Mubarak and the refusal of the U.S. and the “international community” to accept the democratically elected Hamas government of Palestine are proof (if any were needed) that the U.S. government does not really support democracy in the Arab world.\u00a0 Dictators are, after all, so much easier to control.\u00a0 Having fostered and supported virtually every dictator in the Middle East, the U.S. regime now finds itself wrong-footed and in an increasingly weakened position in the region.\u00a0 These popular uprisings will have profound consequences on U.S. stature and policies in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

ISRAEL IN “STATE OF STRATEGIC DISTRESS”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The overthrow of the Mubarak dictatorship puts Israel in “a state of strategic distress”, according to Aluf Benn of Ha’aretz<\/em>:\u00a0 “The fading power of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s government leaves Israel in a state of strategic distress. Without Mubarak, Israel is left with almost no friends in the Middle East; last year, Israel saw its alliance with Turkey collapse.”\u00a0 Israel’s strategic distress at the possibility of a democratic Egypt emerging from the overthrow of Mubarak led the Zionist-controlled Obama administration to take desperate and deceitful measures to support the dictatorship the U.S. has funded with billions of dollars every year – for 30 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

U.S. SENDS C.I.A. DIRTY TRICKS MAN – VIOLENT ATTACKS BEGIN
\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Obama administration sent Frank Gardiner Wisner 2nd, the son of <\/strong><\/span>one of the founders<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a> of the C.I.A.’s propaganda and special operations branch to control the critical situation in Egypt.\u00a0 In 1947-48, Frank Wisner Sr. established the C.I.A.’s <\/span>Operation Mockingbird<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>, a program to influence the domestic and foreign media.\u00a0 “By the early 1950s, Wisner ‘owned’ respected members of The New York Times<\/em>, Newsweek<\/em>, CBS and other communications vehicles,” Deborah Davis wrote in her 1979 book entitled, Katharine the Great: Katharine Graham and The Washington Post<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sending Wisner Junior to Egypt indicates that the United States is engaged in a dangerous and dirty operation against the Egyptian protestors, who massed in Cairo’s Tahrir Square\u00a0on February 1.\u00a0 If the U.S.-backed dictatorship resorts to violence, as it did with the orchestrated attacks on the protestors by\u00a0men on horseback, the U.S. will be seen as responsible because it sent Wisner, a veteran “dirty tricks” agent with a long history of counter-revolutionary actions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

YE SHALL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

Wisner <\/span>reportedly<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a> left the country the day after Mubarak sent hordes of paid\u00a0thugs and plain-clothes police into the square to\u00a0attack the peaceful protestors\u00a0with\u00a0Molotov cocktails and weapons.\u00a0\u00a0It is\u00a0not believable that Mubark would take such drastic actions against the wishes of Obama’s special envoy.\u00a0 The controlled media has reported that Obama sent Wisner to Cairo to\u00a0urge Mubarak to step aside, but that is\u00a0clearly false.\u00a0\u00a0Wisner’s arrival coincided with a pronounced change in tactics against the protestors.\u00a0 The crack down tactics advised by Wisner\u00a0culminated in the violent attacks against the protestors in Tahrir\u00a0Square and other places on February 2.\u00a0 When we consider that the United States is controlled by a highly deceitful and criminal regime, which is actually protecting the real culprits of the terrorist attacks of 9\/11, we can understand that the U.S. government shares the\u00a0same\u00a0criminal nature\u00a0as those it supports in Egypt and Israel.\u00a0 As Jesus said, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wisner’s father became the head of the C.I.A.’s Directorate of Plans (DPP) in 1952 and Richard Helms was his chief of operations. The DPP, formed by the merger of\u00a0the Office of Policy Coordination and the Office of Special Operations (the espionage division) accounted for three quarters of the C.I.A. budget and 60 percent of its personnel.\u00a0 In the early 1950s, Wisner orchestrated the overthrow of Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran and Jacobo Arbenz in Guatemala.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a very dangerous move because it shows that the Obama White House is pursuing a two-faced policy of trying to keep Mubarak in power while it pretends to be supporting democratic change in Egypt.\u00a0 Shortly after Wisner arrived in Cairo the Egyptian authorities began confiscating broadcasting equipment from foreign journalists, including the BBC – on arrival at the airport.\u00a0 As millions of Egyptians prepared for a huge rally in Cairo’s Tahrir Square on February 1, roads and rail links to Cairo were cut.\u00a0 These actions were clearly being taken on orders given by Wisner.\u00a0 This shows that the United States has actually been working to support the Mubarak dictatorship in the face of massive protests by the Egyptian people.\u00a0 This is an extremely ill-advised and dangerous game to be playing while the Obama administration pretends to support “democratic change.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Frank Gardiner Wisner was on\u00a0<\/span>Enron’s board<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a> <\/span>of directors since 1997\u00a0and\u00a0was\u00a0Vice Chairman of Maurice Greenberg’s\u00a0fraudulent American International Group (A.I.G.)\u00a0through 2009, after A.I.G. had received hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to support its criminal enterprise.\u00a0 Both Enron and A.I.G. were engaged in\u00a0criminal fraud operations that cost the U.S. taxpayer dearly.\u00a0 Wisner has also been involved in C.I.A. activity since the early years of the Vietnam War.<\/span><\/p>\n
