{"id":189967,"date":"2019-06-15T14:05:23","date_gmt":"2019-06-15T14:05:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=189967"},"modified":"2019-06-18T07:18:25","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T07:18:25","slug":"us-must-invade-venezuela-to-scare-iran-and-north-korea-senator-graham","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetruthseeker.co.uk\/?p=189967","title":{"rendered":"US must invade Venezuela to scare Iran and North Korea: Senator Graham"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Press TV \u2013 June 15, 2019<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>A hawkish Republican senator has suggested that the\u00a0United States\u00a0should take military action against\u00a0Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro\u00a0so countries\u00a0opposing the US\u00a0are intimidated and surrender\u00a0to Washington&#8217;s demands.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">To handle foreign conflicts \u201cwe need points on the board,\u201d Senator Lindsey Graham, who is a close ally of President Donald Trump, was quoted as saying on Friday by Fox News.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The warmonger from South Carolina told Fox News that the US needed to resolve\u00a0its issues\u00a0with other countries using military actions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Chair of the\u00a0Senate Committee on the Judiciary\u00a0suggested\u00a0using\u00a0US military force to resolve America&#8217;s\u00a0conflicts with countries opposed to US foreign policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8220;Do what Reagan did in Grenada. Put military force on the table &#8230; start with your own backyard,&#8221; he suggested.<\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4De7ucfgwpU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Graham\u00a0implied\u00a0that after the US military invasion\u00a0of Venezuela, other\u00a0Latin American\u00a0counties, as well as\u00a0countries opposed to US foreign policies such as\u00a0\u00a0North Korea and Iran, would\u00a0be intimidated and give\u00a0in to US demands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8220;Fix Venezuela, and everybody else will know you\u2019re serious,\u201d\u00a0Graham, who is a notorious\u00a0supporter\u00a0of US interventionism,\u00a0suggested to the\u00a0Fox News host.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Graham\u00a0has in the past repeated his call\u00a0for US military intervention\u00a0in\u00a0Venezuela.
