<\/a><\/p>\nOn Friday a black man named DeWayne Craddock, an engineer employed by the city of Virginia Beach, shot 16 people in the local government building, killing 12, 9 of whom were white<\/strong><\/span>.<\/a> He had reportedly earlier submitted his resignation. This is yet another example of the phenomenon that VDARE.com calls \u201cDisgruntled Minority Massacre<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u201d It\u2019s not caused by racism, but by anti-racism\u2014with more than a little help from the complicit Main Stream Media, which probably explains its increasingly frenzied drive to suppress facts like Craddock\u2019s race.<\/span><\/p>\n City officials are claiming they didn\u2019t fire Craddock and have no idea why he did this. A New York Times<\/em> report says different, that he\u2019d started acting violent<\/strong><\/span>,<\/a> and was on the verge of losing his job:<\/span><\/p>\n It remains to be seen what the suspect was after. City officials declined to discuss a possible motive for the attack, but they did say there was no immediate indication that the gunman had targeted anyone. The police chief, James A. Cervera, quelled rumors on Saturday that the suspect had recently been fired, and declined to say whether there had been friction between him and other employees.<\/span><\/p>\n But a person close to Virginia Beach\u2019s city government, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said that the suspect had no history of behavioral problems until recently, when he had begun acting strangely and getting into physical \u201cscuffles\u201d with other city workers.<\/span><\/p>\n The person said that tensions had escalated in the past week, adding that the man had gotten into a violent altercation on city grounds and was told that disciplinary action would be taken.<\/span><\/p>\n Suspect in Virginia Beach Shooting Was a Longtime City Employee<\/strong><\/span>,<\/em><\/a> by Serge F. The Paper Of Record doesn\u2019t even know what color he was, and apparently can\u2019t find a photograph.<\/span><\/p>\n The NYT\u2019s<\/em> motto: \u201cAll The News That\u2019s Fit To Print<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n This news blackout on Craddock\u2019s race is unusually severe even by recent standards. Maybe there\u2019s been some Journolist<\/strong><\/span><\/a>-style secret decree<\/strong><\/span>.<\/a> A similarly photographless story in the Washington Post<\/em> describes him this way:<\/span><\/p>\n He was a seasoned engineer, a military veteran with a shaved head and body builder\u2019s physique. He had an all-business \u2014 but not off-putting \u2014 demeanor, one co-worker recounted. And a reserved but not peculiar presence, several neighbors said.<\/span><\/p>\n DeWayne Craddock, a longtime Virginia Beach employee, identified as shooter who killed 12 in city building<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>,<\/em> June 2,<\/em> 2019<\/span><\/p>\n Again, no word of Craddock\u2019s race, although WaPo<\/em> went to a black church and interviewed friends of his parents. They weren\u2019t described as black either.<\/span><\/p>\n The Washington Post\u2019s<\/em> new post-Trump motto: \u201cDemocracy Dies In Darkness<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n But the U.K. Daily Mail,<\/em> which specializes in crime news the American papers won\u2019t print, managed to find no less than three photographs of him.<\/span><\/p>\n [PICTURED: \u2018Loner\u2019 Virginia Beach gunman, 40, and longtime city engineer who \u2018brushed his teeth and chatted to a colleague\u2019 before \u2018indiscriminately\u2019 shooting dead 12 and dying in a police gun battle<\/strong><\/span>,<\/em><\/a> by Lauren Fruen and Rod Ardehali,Dailymail.com, June 1, 2019]<\/span><\/p>\n Still, if you get your information from the U.S. Main Stream Media, you\u2019re out of luck.<\/span><\/p>\n A VDARE.com reader watched ABC News with David Muir<\/em> and reports<\/a><\/strong><\/span> that it showed no photo of Craddock at all, just a silhouette. A white<\/em> silhouette.<\/span><\/p>\n ABC News motto: America\u2019s #1 News Source.<\/span><\/p>\n And ABC may be right about that\u2014many Americans still get all their news from legacy MSM sources.<\/span><\/p>\n Which means that many, many, people who\u2019ve heard about this case almost certainly believe<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that a white man did it.<\/span><\/p>\n Like this lady\u2013she probably hated white males already, but here she\u2019s the victim of MSM suppression. She assumes that if the longtime city employee wasn\u2019t white, they would have said so<\/em>:<\/span><\/p>\n This policy of \u201cnot reporting race<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u201d leads to a false consciousness on<\/strong><\/span><\/a> the subject of crime, as I\u2019ve written repeatedly<\/strong><\/span><\/a> before. The DeWayne Craddock case is a confluence of the \u201cnot reporting race<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u201d custom and the phenomenon of \u201cDisgruntled Minority Massacres<\/strong><\/span>.\u201d<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cNot reporting race\u201d of a criminal unless it\u2019s \u201crelevant\u201d is embodied in the AP Stylebook<\/strong><\/span><\/a> used by most MSM sources<\/strong><\/span>.<\/a> It goes back to the New York Times\u2019s <\/em>reporting on the \u201cBlood Brothers<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u201d gang in Harlem in 1964. As I wrote in 2007<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, this led to five days of rioting<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>in Harlem, because the black community felt they\u2019d been maligned by being called violent.<\/span><\/p>\n The plain fact is that, since the Civil Rights movement started, blacks in America have been encouraged to believe that racism is responsible for any bad thing that happens to them, or any disciplinary or law enforcement action taken against them. They are taught to hate whites\u2014not just by their parents and clergymen<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, but by American schools<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. (Here\u2019s a recent example<\/strong><\/span><\/a> from Powerline\u2019s eminently respectable John Hinderaker). They feel, and express, hatred of white society<\/a> without fear of criticism.<\/span><\/p>\n White men who lose jobs frequently kill themselves. Black men who lose jobs frequently kill their co-workers or employers. When black gunman Omar Thornton<\/a><\/strong><\/span> was fired from a Connecticut brewer for stealing beer, he killed eight of his white coworkers. Before he killed himself, he phoned his mother to say that his victims were racist<\/a><\/strong><\/span>: \u201cI killed the five racists that was there bothering me\u201d, he said [Omar Thornton: \u201cI Killed the Five Racists\u201d<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/span>,<\/em> by Kevin Hayes, August 4, 2010].<\/span><\/p>\n Subsequent investigation \u201cexonerated\u201d his victims, but the point is that MSM continued to treat this irrelevant accusation<\/a><\/strong><\/span> very seriously [Is racism at heart of Connecticut shooting? Answer still unclear<\/strong><\/span>,<\/em><\/a> by Patrik Jonsson, Christian Science Monitor,<\/em> August 4, 2010].<\/span><\/p>\n To repeat: what the Christian Science<\/em> Monitor<\/em>\u2019s Patrik Jonsson and several other MSM outlets<\/a><\/strong><\/span> were asking was if the dead white people had been guilty of racism\u2014not the man who murdered them.<\/span><\/p>\n To look at it another way: recently, the House Democrats held rigged hearings into \u201cWhite Nationalism\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/a> clearly designed to build the case for repression<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. Did it occur to anyone in the MSM to ask whether its reports of this irresponsible demagoguery subsequently provoked a clearly disturbed black man to throw a white child off a balcony in a Minnesota mall<\/a><\/strong><\/span>?<\/span><\/p>\n Answer: guess.<\/span><\/p>\n In this kind of atmosphere, black killers are being \u201cradicalized<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u201d not by obscure webpages<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, or overseas Muslim radicals\u2014but by the MSM and the Democratic Party.<\/span><\/p>\n And when a Disgruntled Minority Massacre happens, there\u2019s an outpouring of rage\u2014not at the killers, but at anyone who mentions it.
