Between 2012 and 2018, the number of patients diagnosed with cancer annually\u00a0rose from 14.1 million to 18.1 million, while the number of fatalities increased from 8.2 million to 9.6 million.<\/span><\/p>\n So, why the increase? Livestrong<\/strong><\/span><\/em> reports<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that an eight-week course of chemotherapy can cost a patient as much as $300,000.<\/span><\/p>\n Chemotherapy is a massive cash cow for investors; perhaps that is the reason researchers keep coming up with new \u201ctreatments\u201d rather than actively searching for a cure?<\/span><\/p>\n Nonetheless, no matter how hard medical practitioners push these chemicals as the best treatment plan for cancer patients, the reality is that all chemotherapy is dangerous \u2013 so dangerous in fact that studies have found that these treatments are as lethal as the disease they are supposed to treat.<\/span><\/p>\n Back in 2006, a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> reported that 61 percent of women who were treated with chemotherapy for breast cancer were hospitalized in the year following treatment for a variety of reasons.<\/span><\/p>\n Natural News<\/strong><\/span><\/em> reported<\/strong><\/span><\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n The researchers found that in the year following the women\u2019s initial diagnosis, the women on chemotherapy were much more likely to be hospitalized or go to the emergency room for any cause. It also increases the number of \u2018doorways\u2019 on blood vessels which allow cancer to spread throughout the body.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Another study, conducted by Public Health England<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> and Cancer Research UK<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>, which examined the number of people who died in the 30 days immediately after undergoing chemotherapy, found \u201can alarming mortality rate that was directly associated with the chemotherapy treatment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Clearly, chemotherapy is far from the \u201cmiracle treatment\u201d it\u2019s claimed to be.
