I never comment on Palestinian internal debate. I do not think that I have the right to do so : I am an ex-Israeli and an ex-Jew, and I write about Israel, Jewish Identity politics, and Zionism.<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpost.com\/Headlines\/Article.aspx?id=205062\"><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Livni too,<\/span><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">offered<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"> to \u201ctransfer Israeli Arabs.\u201d<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/world\/2011\/jan\/25\/mi6-palestinian-papers-rejectionists-plan\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">according to The Guardian<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"> <\/span>\u201cThe Palestinian Authority&#8217;s security strategy to crush Hamas and other armed groups on the West Bank was originally drawn up by Britain&#8217;s intelligence service, MI6\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">For me, the leaked Palestinian Papers provide us with a valuable glimpse into Israeli politics and Western complicity in the crimes carried out against the Palestinian people.\u00a0 I do realise that most Palestinian commentators agree that the leaked papers have \u201cdamaged whatever little credibility the Ramallah-based authority still enjoyed among Palestinians\u201d ; yet, more than anything else, the Papers prove beyond doubt that Israel is\u00a0 not a partner for peace \u2013 In spite of the weaknesses that have been shown by the PA since the 1990\u2019s, Israel has failed to secure a peace deal, and has consistently failed to show any will to bring the conflict to an end. In short \u2013 Israel has always wanted more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">The Papers have also clearly shown that whilst Israel likes to present an image of \u2018political pluralism\u2019 , that is little more than a deception: there is not much difference at all between\u00a0 Tzipi Livni and Avigdor Lieberman. Both are Zionist enthusiasts, and both are interested in a \u2018Jews only state\u2019 \u2013 Indeed, just like Lieberman<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">Yesterday, we learned that as far back as 2004, the British MI6 was assisting the PA in the war against Hamas :\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">So, at the time that the British Government was supposedly advocating \u201cdemocracy\u201d in Palestine, the reality was quite different : British &#8216;James Bonds&#8217; were investing enormous effort in trying to destroy the rising political power in Palestine.
