There\u2019s no stronger motivation than those two<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><em><strong>This abomination that is occurring today in the climate issue is the biggest threat to the enlightenment that has occurred since Galileo. <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><em>\u201cNothing else comes close<\/em>,\u201d Moore insisted, likening the contemporary environmental movement to \u201c<em>a toxic mix of ideology, of politics and religion<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/586352418&amp;color=ff5500\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">\u201c<em>CO2 is the food for life! It\u2019s not pollution<\/em>,\u201d the would-be heretic declared, claiming that the use of fossil fuels had actually \u201c<em>saved life from an early demise<\/em>\u201d because CO2 had been declining since the last ice age, with barely enough for the earth\u2019s plant life to sustain itself, until humanity stepped into the breach during the Industrial Revolution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Moore, who founded the pioneering environmental activist group\u00a0almost 50\u00a0years ago to protest nuclear war, met with an outpouring of support from conservatives and weary Democrats alike, after tweeting a scathing rebuke earlier this week to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose quixotic Green New Deal has become the standard-bearer of the 21st century environmental movement. He continued along those lines, criticizing the anti-climate-change movement for \u201c<em>co-opting and corrupting<\/em>\u201d politicians and allowing the environment to be treated as a political football without understanding of the meaning behind the rhetoric.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Democrats \u201c<em>might as well have signed a suicide pact<\/em>,\u201d Moore said. \u201c<em>Not just for their political future, but for the future of the economy of the US, for all these people to be piling on the Green New Deal, which is a complete and utter ridiculous document<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">But Moore reserved his harshest words for the Sunrise Movement he believes is backing Ocasio-Cortez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong><em>They\u2019re brainwashing these children into thinking the world is coming to an end in 10 years. There\u2019s got to be billionaires behind this. I want to know who they are.
