Amid universal calls for his resignation, Trudeau-Castro should\u00a0come out fighting saying that SNC Lavalin’s crimes — standard for winning contracts in the third world –are now ancient history.<\/h5>\n
This is an example of the selective moral outrage\/ virtue-signalling that is damaging the country.<\/h5>\n

SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.<\/strong> is a Montreal-based company that provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services in various industries including; mining and metallurgy, oil and gas, environment and water, infrastructure, nuclear and clean power. The firm has 50,000 employees worldwide with offices in over 50 countries and operations in over 160 countries. It has profits\u00a0of over a billion dollars on revenues of $10 billion.<\/h5>\n
SNC Lavalin is a crown Jewel of Quebec Inc. where Trudeau-Castro has overwhelming political support, enough to win the next election scheduled for October. Its crime was paying $50 million in bribes to Libyan government officials between 2001 and 2011 to secure contracts.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Apparently, this standard business practice in the third world is illegal in Canada and carries a penalty of being banned from receiving Canadian government contracts for ten years. Virtually every other country in the world<\/span><\/a> allows these companies to pay a penalty and get back to business. All the people associated with the bribery have been fired. The stock is down 40%.<\/h5>\n
Trudeau-Castro pressured the then Justice Minister to give the company a plea deal citing economic consequences, especially if the company\u00a0 moves its head office. But, despite enormous arm-twisting<\/a><\/span>, Wilson Raybould refused to intervene citing values of truth and justice learned around the totem pole in the “Big House.”\u00a0 Canadians seem to be overwhelmingly on her side and are demanding Trudeau-Castro’s resignation.<\/h5>\n
