Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">A study claims that up to a quarter of the French population not only believe in a conspiracy of \u201celites\u201d but also think those same elites are using mass migration to replace European populations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The study, released by\u00a0Jean-Jaur\u00e8s Foundation and Conspiracy Watch, is the second of its kind and\u00a0looks at the extent to which the French believe\u00a0in various so-called conspiracy theories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The study found that 27 per cent of French believe in an \u201cIlluminati\u201d of elites who control the population while\u00a0one quarter say they believe in the theory of the \u201cGreat Replacement,\u201d<em> Le Point<\/em> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lepoint.fr\/societe\/un-francais-sur-4-pense-que-les-illuminati-nous-manipulent-06-02-2019-2291648_23.php\">reports<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The theory of the Great Replacement\u00a0was coined by French writer\u00a0Renaud Camus and encompasses\u00a0several subjects under the broad scope of interchangeability\u00a0and exchangeability, from goods and services to people themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Mr Camus spoke to Breitbart London at the beginning of the Yellow Vest protests, which have continued for the past 12 weeks, and claimed much of the origins of the movement lie in his theory.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Paris Protests Are Deplorables Reacting Against \u2018Davocracy\u2019 Elite, Says Author <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/9HtJQ7FLSA\">https:\/\/t.co\/9HtJQ7FLSA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1067719753362337793?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 28, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Camus told Breitbart London that the protests were really about \u201clack of respect, general exchangeability, being treated by managerial politics like an object, a simple product.\u00a0A product, a producer, and a consumer all at once, a thing, a number, not a human being.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">He also describes the elites, or the \u201cDavocracy,\u201d as supporting \u201cthe change of people and civilisation for the sake of the industry of man, the economic system which produces the Undifferentiated Human Matter, the human Nutella, spreadable at will.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The theory has also been mentioned by several high-profile figures including the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2017\/07\/11\/strasbourg-archbishop-great-replacement-muslims-france-be-theirs\/\">Archbishop of\u00a0Strasbourg Luc Ravel<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in reference to Muslims, and by B\u00e9ziers\u00a0mayor Robert M\u00e9nard who was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2017\/04\/27\/front-national-mayor-fined-mentioning-demographic-changes-local-schools\/\">fined <\/a><\/strong><\/span>for mentioning demographic changes in local schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThe Great Replacement.
