Introduction \u2013 Jan 25, 2019<\/h1>\n

American presidents no longer have REAL power. They haven\u2019t had any REAL power for decades now. They are little more than puppets for the REAL powers behind the scenes that pull their strings. Like second-rate actors, which is exactly what Ronald Reagan was, they are expected to perform for an audience: U.S. voters.<\/h5>\n
From a none too bright figure like George Bush II to \u201cAmerica\u2019s first Black president\u201d, who wasn\u2019t \u201cBlack\u201d but mixed race, modern U.S. presidents are more the creation of marketing campaigns. They are NOT the representatives of the American people.<\/h5>\n
Donald Trump is the latest example of this fraud. What better example could there be than an oligarch like Trump, who has spent much of his time prior to taking office hosting reality TV shows?<\/h5>\n
He went from one carefully scripted performance on TV to another, in the White House.<\/h5>\n

Just as Americans had grown tired of Bush II, Barack Obama was bought in as a replacement; he promised “change” but essentially pursued the same agenda as his predecessor. After pledging to reduce America\u2019s military commitment overseas he not only sustained it, he actually increased it in some regions of the world. Likewise, Trump promised to do the same but appears to be doing little better that his predecessor. U.S. troops are still deployed and on active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and, despite his promise to withdraw, in Syria too.<\/h5>\n
So America is still pursuing the same foreign policy objectives, despite Trump and his predecessor promising to change things.<\/h5>\n
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be being groomed for a similar role. Just like Obama, Ocasio-Cortez has emerged from nowhere with a promise of “change”. And just like Obama was presented as America’s first “Black president” Ocasio-Cortez is being marketed as America’s first potential female “Latino” president.<\/h5>\n
Except that she\u2019s not.<\/h5>\n
Her ancestors were actually Sephardic Jews<\/a><\/span> who fled to Puerto Rico during the Spanish Inquisition. This means that despite what she may say in support of Palestinians, IF Ocasio-Cortez actually takes residence in the White House there’s a strong possibility that U.S. support for Israel will remain undiminished.<\/h5>\n
Just as it remained strong under Bush, Obama and now Trump, entry into the White House depends entirely on a commitment of continued support for Israel.<\/h5>\n
Of course, her Jewish ancestry doesn’t necessarily mean that she would support Israel. But if she doesn\u2019t you can be sure that Ocasio-Cortez will never sit in the Oval Office.<\/h5>\n
Without a cast iron commitment to support Israel Ocasio-Cortez simply won\u2019t be in contention; in which case she may be used as a counterpoint to Trump, to keep U.S. voters divided. Ed.<\/h5>\n

\u2018I love how you roll!\u2019 sighs another.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018We need you!\u2019 pleads a third.<\/span><\/p>\n

And so they gush sycophantically on:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018America needs more of you! Keep killing it girl!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u20186 women from California think you\u2019re awesome!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Congresswoman, you are LOVED!\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

And my personal favourite: \u2018Our future is female!\u2019 (it certainly will be if Gillette has its way..)<\/span><\/p>\n

We know about these post-it notes because in recent days Ms Ocasio-Cortez has repeatedly tweeted about them to her 2.6 million Twitter followers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ll keep these up as long as they stick,\u2019 she declared, ecstatically.<\/span><\/p>\n

A statement I think we can safely translate to mean: \u2018I\u2019ll keep these up as long as I can keep sticking them back up there.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

So there\u2019s no doubt that \u2018AOC\u2019, as she likes to call herself, bows to nobody in self-adoration, even it means creating a shrine to her own magnificence on her office door.<\/span><\/p>\n

To understand the full magnitude of her ego, AOC even compared her New York election victory to America\u2019s 1969 Moon landing and the 1964 Civil Rights Act.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, I don\u2019t (self-evidently!) have a problem with big egos, so long as those who have them can walk the walk as well as they talk the talk.<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s where I have a slight problem with the AOC phenomenon.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no doubt she is a rapid-rising superstar in US politics.<\/span><\/p>\n

(If you don\u2019t believe me, just ask her – she\u2019ll soon tell you).<\/span><\/p>\n

Her story is the stuff of movies, too \u2013 the young impassioned bartender who one day decided to change the world rather than beer barrels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her achievement in becoming, at 29-years-old the youngest ever woman to serve in the United States Congress is genuinely remarkable.<\/span><\/p>\n

And she pulled it off by taking no prisoners, fighting fire with fire, and whacking opponents with Trumpian aggression.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve had my own taste of Ms Ocasio-Cortez\u2019s strong-arm tactics \u2013 literally.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two months ago, I got into a Twitter spat with the similarly self-worshipping singer Ariana Grande who admonished me: \u2018also Piers Morgan, I look forward to the day you realize there are other ways to go about making yourself relevant than to criticize young beautiful women for everything they do. I think that\u2019ll be a beautiful thing for you and your career or what\u2019s left it.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

AOC loved this – retweeting Grande\u2019s attack on me with the words: \u201cGet \u2018em\u201d and a muscle-armed emoji.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both of them got a gazillion \u2018likes\u2019 for their tweets and I was duly savagely abused by their fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t mind the abuse, but it was interesting to note just HOW abusive their supporters can be \u2013 particularly AOC\u2019s, who seemed to be in a competition to suggest the most imaginative way for me to die.<\/span><\/p>\n

She inspires such demented support because she is the ultimate \u2018woke\u2019 liberal celebrity, someone whose whole life now seems devoted to virtue-signalling her way to the top.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no issue, from transgender rights to climate change, on which she isn\u2019t apparently now a world authority.<\/span><\/p>\n

Or perhaps she\u2019s not.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018The world is going to end in 12 years if we don\u2019t address climate change,\u2019 she announced dramatically this week, a statement that is just as preposterous as Trump\u2019s insistence that climate change is fake news.<\/span><\/p>\n
