Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Russian foreign minister claimed that Ukraine was planning an &#8220;armed provocation&#8221; in the coming weeks. Moscow-Kyiv relations have continued to deteriorate after Russia seized three Ukrainian ships at sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Russian Defense Ministry on Monday said it would &#8220;return&#8221; more than 10 warplanes to Crimea, according to Russian news agency Interfax.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The ministry said\u00a0fighter jets, including Sukhoi Su-27 and Su-30&#8217;s, will be sent to the annexed Ukrainian territory as part of a &#8220;permanent deployment.&#8221; They are expected to arrive by Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The announcement comes after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey\u00a0Lavrov claimed in an interview that Ukraine was preparing an &#8220;armed provocation with Russia on the border with Crimea during the last ten days of December.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>&#8216;Neo-Nazi characteristics&#8217;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">In comments carried by the state-run TASS news agency, Lavrov said Moscow would not allow the Ukrainian government to act\u00a0on those plans, saying &#8220;they will regret it.&#8221; But he also said that Russia &#8220;will not wage war against Ukraine.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8220;We are not fighting the Ukrainian regime,&#8221; Lavrov said. &#8220;It is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/ukraine-the-forgotten-victims-of-donbass\/a-42597692\">Ukrainian citizens living in Donbass<\/a><\/strong><\/span> who are fighting against the Ukrainian regime, which has full Nazi and neo-Nazi characteristics.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Last month, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/sea-of-azov-ukrainian-sailors-remanded-in-custody\/a-46514640\">Russian warships captured three Ukrainian naval vessels<\/a><\/strong><\/span> as they crossed through the strategic Kerch Strait, detaining 24 sailors on board.
