Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><strong>It has emerged that a warship taking part in an amphibious operation off the Yemen coast has been struck by a missile off the Yemen coast.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The vessel is believed to belong to the United Arab Emirates according to local media.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Yemeni forces backed by a Saudi-led military coalition launched an assault on\u00a0Yemen\u2019s most important port\u00a0early this week despite warnings of a high civilian death toll and a disruption of critical aid in their bid to defeat the Houthi rebels there.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Several informed sources report the vessel sustained major damage and has since sank. Several fatalities reported.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Sentinel (@StratSentinel) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StratSentinel\/status\/1007030875144491008?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 13, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Troops loyal to the Yemeni government were fighting the rebels outside of the Red Sea port of Hodeidah after approaching it from the south, according to residents, humanitarian groups and members of the rebel group. The ground attack on Hodeidah and its surrounding areas was being supported by airstrikes and coalition ships positioned offshore, they said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to local media, the Houthis pushed back.
