Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">New details have emerged about the tragic fate of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 that crashed in eastern Ukraine in July 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Russian Defense Ministry has provided documented proof that the missile that shot down\u00a0Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, killing all 298 people on\u00a0board, came from\u00a0the arsenals of\u00a0the Ukrainian army, not from\u00a0Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Serial Number<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">At a news briefing on\u00a0Monday, Lt. Gen. Nikolai Parshin, the Defense Ministry\u2019s chief of\u00a0the Missile and Artillery Directorate, said that, judging from\u00a0the fragments of\u00a0the 9M38 missile, military experts were able to\u00a0establish the missile\u2019s unique serial number \u2013 8868720, where 86 stands for\u00a0the missile\u2019s production year and 8720 is its serial number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to\u00a0the documents, which Parshin said had been declassified ahead of\u00a0the news conference, the missile in\u00a0question was manufactured at\u00a0a military plant in\u00a0Dolgoprudny, outside\u00a0Moscow, in\u00a01986, assigned combat number 886847379 and on\u00a0December 29 of\u00a0that same year was shipped by\u00a0rail to\u00a0the 20152\u00a0\u2014 223 anti-aircraft missile brigade stationed in\u00a0Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">In 1986, the unit was part of\u00a0the Carpathian Military District and was deployed in\u00a0Terebovlya, Ternopil region. After the Soviet breakup, the brigade became part of\u00a0the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is currently stationed in\u00a0the city of\u00a0Stryi.<\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lqHzS9NqL4Y?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to\u00a0the Russian Defense Ministry, the missile brigade took part in\u00a0Kiev\u2019s military operation in\u00a0Donbass.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Fake<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Defense Ministry\u2019s spokesman, Maj. Gen.
