Click to enlarge<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Deputy Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base for Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad General Mahmoud Ebrahiminejad announced that Iran has successfully tested the home-made version of the sophisticated Russian S-300 missile defense system, dubbed as Bavar (Belief) 373, to target ballistic missiles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">&#8220;This test was carried out last year and a positive and very good test was conducted,&#8221; General Ebrahiminejad said on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">He elaborated on the capabilities of Bavar 373, and said, &#8220;It is more reliable and stronger than the S-300 for the country.
