They&#8217;re like, &#8220;Oh, who are these traitors who sold out to the Jewish conspiracy for money?'&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">He then joked: &#8220;I&#8217;m like, &#8216;We did! We cost $50,000 plus benefits.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">[&#8230;]Pollak&#8217;s Emergency Committee for Israel is part of a coalition of right-wing and Israel lobbying organizations that have devoted increasing resources to undermining the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, or BDS. Al Jazeera&#8217;s censored &#8220;The Lobby&#8221; documentary exposes intensive collaboration between these US-based cut-outs, the Israeli military-intelligence apparatus, and pro-Israel oligarchs like Sheldon Adelson and Adam Milstein.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">For that reason, Israel lobby forces enacted a pressure campaign that appears to have succeeded in suppressing Al Jazeera&#8217;s release of &#8220;The Lobby.&#8221; The campaign consisted of visits by high profile Israel lobbyists\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/electronicintifada.net\/blogs\/tamara-nassar\/israel-propagandist-alan-dershowitz-protested-qatar\">Alan Dershowitz<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.haaretz.com\/us-news\/.premium-why-did-zoa-s-mort-klein-go-to-qatar-at-the-emir-s-invitation-1.5771242\">Morton Klein<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to Doha, as well as <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/electronicintifada.net\/blogs\/ali-abunimah\/how-russiagate-helps-israel-lobby\">threats<\/a><\/strong><\/span> from Congress to force Al Jazeera to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act if it aired the documentary. Qatar has since <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/electronicintifada.net\/content\/qatar-funded-zionist-organization-america\/24936\">donated<\/a><\/strong><\/span> $250,000 to Klein&#8217;s Zionist Organization of America and other hardline Israel lobby outfits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Electronic Intifada <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/electronicintifada.net\/content\/national-security-cited-reason-al-jazeera-nixed-israel-lobby-film\/24566\">reported<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in June that Qatar decided to nix &#8220;The Lobby&#8221; over &#8220;national security concerns.&#8221; According to reporters Asa Winstanley and Ali Abunimah, there were concerns in Qatari governing circles that release of the documentary could even prompt the US to pull its Al Udeid Airbase from the Gulf country at a time when it was under embargo from Saudi Arabia and UAE, both close allies of Israel and the US.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b_nyeaviKdM?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div align=\"center\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Despite the ban, pieces of the documentary have begun to trickle out. This August 27, Electronic Intifada <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/electronicintifada.net\/content\/censored-film-names-adam-milstein-canary-mission-funder\/25356\">released footage<\/a><\/strong><\/span> identifying Adam Milstein as a moving force behind the malicious anti-Palestinian blacklisting operation known as Canary Mission. The report came on the heels of a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/grayzoneproject.com\/2018\/08\/22\/meet-the-owner-of-canary-missions-anonymous-anti-palestinian-blacklisting-website\/\">Grayzone exclusive<\/a><\/strong><\/span> naming pro-Israel lawyer Howard David Sterling as the owner of Canary Mission&#8217;s web domain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The footage revealed here by the Grayzone shows in vivid detail how the Israel lobby has compensated for its lack of grassroots influence by essentially paying for protesters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">No doubt Congress will investigate this foreign meddling ASAP!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.informationliberation.com\/?id=58973\">Source <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Astroturfing defined as: &#8216;creating the impression of public support by paying people in the public to pretend to be supportive&#8217;.
