There are gradients of ignorance. I don’t know if there is a national ignorance registry, or office of stupidity in the US. I know they have agencies that generate and cultivate it but I don’t know if there is a place where they do statistics and analysis. However, we here at The Center for the Search for Ageless Wisdom and Other internal Wonders do have a passing familiarity with ignorance because we have encountered it many times. We have observed it from afar; often the best position to do so from …and we have read about it and heard about it many times, so we are familiar with incremental measurements like; dumbass, bone deep stupid, too ignorant to put a metric reading on and other terms and titles. Ignorance is not simply a product for domestic consumption and export from the US. You can find it all over the planet. There was plenty of it in evidence on the beaches of Thailand, during that big tsunami and now it appears that there is a veritable convention talking place in Puerto Vallarta<\/span><\/a>, where some number of people are going to sit out the storm at a resort and other places where waves of 40 feet are expected. That means they could be higher too. The winds are around 200 miles an hour and it is the strongest storm ever measured on the planet and the strongest, well… it would be… to ever hit Mehico.<\/h5>\n
It’s hard, sometimes, to tell if it is really ignorance at work or if it is Karma and all those Samskaras. Of course, there is a direct relationship between these things and the level of ones Karma can be observed or experienced according to the degree of operational ignorance going on. In the Hindu tradition they have the 3 gunas. Although we don’t have an appropriate word in English for the word guna, it roughly translates into ‘quality’. So there are 3 qualities of being that are termed, Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. Sattva is effulgent with light and luminescence. You see this in the beings of masters and those who are realized and it is often not tainted with the influence of the other two. Rajas can be thought of as passion and Tamas is ignorance or inertia. Very often they are compounds and especially in times of Materialism you see a lot of Rajas and Tamas working in concert, though I would expect the melody to be rather dissonant.<\/h5>\n
Of course, there is the stupid and the truly deserving<\/a><\/span>. I don’t even have to look to check if this guy is a member of… never mind. If only there were a hurricane that was type specific and it would circle the Earth nine times. Now that would be a consummation ‘devoutly’ to be wished. The Bard didn’t like them either. Yeah… I would be anti Semitic if they were Semitic, which they are not but… The Palestinians are and I guess that explains that whole Holy Land thing. Once again I want to stress this truth. It has nothing to do with actual genealogies and religions per se. It has to do with the historical buried remnants that prove their claims are a lie and with having a sovereign nation from which to get away with murder because you are a country. It’s pretty simple really. Once you strip away the PR excuses, you look at the options and then you narrow and… well, let’s just say I read a lot of Conan Doyle and I understand deductive and inductive and I use both of them. I’m always watching people. Part of that comes from being body slammed and pummeled for my first 16 years and part of it comes from spending a few years in prison and part of it comes from watching the world around me but it didn’t do me much good with the recent ambush did it? You can see and yet not see. You can have all the knowledge this world can give you and still come up short. Better throw yourself on the mercy of the cosmic court because sooner or later you will have to anyway; old age, disease and death will take care of that and… maybe you want to start listing the exceptions? Uh huh.<\/h5>\n

She seems to think she is my soul mate and she’s never been married, which I find interesting, given that it is China but… then again, it is China and they have a thing about females. I don’t know if you find yourself a member of dating services that you never joined but I do. So this Asian service has been sending me profiles of different ladies (cause I fit into that John Lennon thing) and somehow they know my age because all of the ladies are in that age group, within twenty years or so and I see them appear in my mailbox and they are always different names except for this one. She shows up equal to all the others put together and writes me about spirituality and relative subjects. God only knows what is going on here. Most of the time I don’t even look because the names are in the subject line and that is the only reason I know that this lady writes me so often. The blogs? I don’t think so …because I am mostly banned in China; but not entirely.<\/h5>\n
Then… not long ago I started getting pictures of dicks and done up in such a private way that if I were so inclined well… you know …and lately there have been comments coming in that do that ‘first the kiss, then the whip’ thing and then there have been emails of a certain sort. I am not ignorant or stupid. I am immature and I am classic arrested development, which means I am only about 16 years old on a certain level and I recognize that. One thing I don’t do is lie to myself. I’m in great shape for guys of my age, no question …and… all my parts work but that has never helped me when it comes to what others want and what I am most seriously pursuing because ONLY the ineffable matters to me. Sure… if the ineffable appears in you and wants to do the dakini in the hammock thing, well… I’m there and that has happened more than once but… but… I am aging in a certain sense and I am mindful of this; being slender and in great shape is one thing and being a victim of that getting old and stupid because you have fantasized yourself into what you are not… thing… that I don’t get. I am not Casanova. I am not the last, great aging lover of the ever returning on the wheel of fire, nubile forms, who only came here to get fucked in the first place; that is the only reason they even wanted a body. I’m just me loving the ineffable, in a climate that is increasingly inhospitable to that but… (he shrugs) that ain’t changing nothing.<\/h5>\n
Sure… I would like a lady in my life. I adore them. Lord Byron ain’t got nothing on me with that, but… I get that in dreams every night. If I want something in my life, I get it in dreams and remember… life is a dream anyway and much better you get it where you don’t have to take a shower or visit the health clinic after.<\/h5>\n
I am a flawed individual. I know that. The ineffable, in the ineffable’s own wisdom, has determined that I should act out when I shouldn’t and stand still when I should move. It’s his call and so I could be labeled as a fuckup… according to people who want it all predictable and controllable. I got that Loki gene and the bullshit… which surrounds me… it’s intolerable. I find it hard to digest and so I fast.<\/h5>\n
You shouldn’t fuck with hurricanes or tsunamis or any of the rest. If you can’t control it, you should RUN! It is like when your country is suddenly being bombed or invaded… RUN… MOVE! Like my good friend, Sam Kinison said about people who live in areas where drought comes and food won’t grow; \u201cWhy don’t they live where the food is?\u201d<\/a><\/span> (screaming as he does). I loved Sam but I knew he was doomed and I especially knew it when he told me he had met his soul mate. It wasn’t long after that when he got blindsided by a pickup truck, while driving one of those cars that portly gentlemen should avoid. He staggered out of the car and fell down and his last words were, as I have it on good authority, were, \u201cIt’s okay…it’s okay… I see now.\u201d<\/h5>\n
I loved Sam<\/a><\/span>. Doing what he did got him rich …and doing what I did, pretty much the same thing, though less pornographic<\/span>,<\/a> got me prison.<\/h5>\n
My friends, don’t get taken in by ads and don’t spend too much time on the piano in a Tom Waits moment, waxing nostalgic about everything that could have been and should have been and is not. Don’t spend your time mourning your dead friends and relatives. Don’t spend your time trying to make sense out of what does not make sense. Don’t seek to live beyond your measure. Live while you can and keep your eyes open. The avatar is coming.<\/h5>\n
