She died of multiple wounds in a hospital after bleeding in the street for 30 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Hadil Hashlamoun was shot 10 times by Israeli Defense Forces at an Israeli checkpoint in Hebron near the entrance to Shuhada Street on Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">IDF soldiers did not let paramedics approach the teenager, who the Israelis claimed had tried to stab one of them. Photos posted online, however, appear to contradict the accusation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E5tkEW739b0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The 18-year-old died of her wounds in the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre later in the day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The hospital\u2019s spokesperson said Hadil had been <em>\u201cterribly injured, and underwent surgery upon her arrival,\u201d<\/em> Maan News Agency reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"><em>\u201cThree operations were performed on my daughter,\u201d<\/em> Salah Hashlamoun, Hadil\u2019s father told local reporters. <em>\u201cA part of her intestines had to be removed. But the bullet in her chest was what killed her.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">According to reports in local Palestinian media, the woman was shot after she refused to open her purse or lift her face veil, the niqab, upon request by IDF troops. She was then left out in the street to bleed for 30 minutes before Israeli soldiers allowed doctors to approach her, the Middle East Eye news agency <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ccffff; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.middleeasteye.net\/news\/video-palestinian-woman-shot-israeli-soldiers-left-bleed-sidewalk-473970466\">reported<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The Israeli army, in turn, claimed that the teenager was a terrorist who had attempted to stab one of its soldiers. Catch a bullet!\u2019<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">The incident comes just few days after Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat declared <em>\u201cwar\u201d<\/em> against Palestinian stone-throwing, giving police a green light to use live ammunition to counter rock attacks against officers and Jewish civilians. The measure was approved on Friday.
