Writing in a blog post on his personal website<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>, Winter, who is author of the best-selling work The Six Million: Fact or Fiction<\/em><\/strong><\/span>,<\/span><\/a> said that \u201cthere is no evidence at all these foundations are actually those of \u2018gas chambers.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n This is, Winter continued, \u201csimply an invention by the archeological team claiming to have found something that they themselves only \u2018think\u2019 and \u2018believe\u2019 are gas chambers. This bears repeating: there is no evidence at all to show that these foundations are actually those of gas chambers.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSecondly, the shape of the walls and of the building completely contradict all previous \u2018eye-witness accounts\u2019 of \u2018gas chambers\u2019 at Sobib\u00f3r. Either all the \u2018eye-witnesses\u2019 were lying, or they were \u201cmistaken.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Winter continued: \u201cDespite extensive media coverage of the find\u2014and [Israeli archeologist Yoram] Haimi\u2019s claims that these were the \u201cgas chambers\u201d of Sobib\u00f3r, there is in reality no evidence that the unearthed foundations are anything else but a building at the camp.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn fact, the unearthing of the foundations created more problems for the Holocaust Storytellers\u2019 narrative than anything else.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cPreviously, it had been claimed that there were three, four, or six \u201cgas chambers\u201d at Sobib\u00f3r\u2014but the September 2014 \u2018discovery\u2019 announced that there were now \u2018apparently\u2019 eight \u2018gas chambers\u2019\u2014this based purely on the number of rooms unearthed in the foundations.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cPhotographs of the 2014 excavation results shows an irregular-shaped building with at least seven differing sized rooms,\u201d Winter wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n The foundations unearthed at Sobib\u00f3r in September 2014: an irregular-shaped building with a number of rooms of different sizes, completely contradictory to the official Holocaust narrative of \u201cfour square meter chambers.\u201d The irregular size of the rooms is clearly visible in this photograph.<\/p><\/div>\n \u201cThis layout completely contradicts all previous narratives of the Sobib\u00f3r \u2018gas chambers\u2019, which all claimed that the execution chambers worked with a two-door system and floor extensions on either side of the building. These \u2018gas chambers\u2019 were, according to the \u201cold\u201d narrative, all the same size (four meters square). On the one side of the \u2018gas chambers,\u2019 the Holocaust Storytellers claim, there was a ramp type affair used by the supposed victims to enter the \u201cgas chambers\u201d and, on the other side were supposedly larger doors through which the bodies were removed. As can be seen, the unearthed foundations bear no resemblance to this narrative,\u201d Winter continied.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe total lack of any confirming evidence was highlighted by media reports which were careful enough to put in their coverage that the archaeological team had unearthed what they \u201cthought\u201d were the \u2018gas chambers.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cFor example, the Israeli Haaretz<\/em> newspaper quoted Haimi as specifically saying that the unearthed foundations \u2018apparently\u2019 served as gas chambers: \u2018We have finally found the building that apparently served as the gas chambers,\u2019 said Israeli archaeologist Yoram Haimi, who has been coordinating excavations at the site for the past eight years\u201d (\u2018Archaeologists uncover remnants of Sobib\u00f3r gas chambers\u2019, Haaretz,<\/em> Sept. 17, 2014<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIsrael\u2019s Y-net News<\/em> also quoted Haimi as saying only that he \u2018believed\u2019 he had uncovered the gas chambers: \u2018Up until now, we\u2019ve been waiting for the asphalt to be removed for the construction of the new visitors center, and as soon as it was removed we found this big structure, that we believe housed the Sobib\u00f3r camp\u2019s gas chambers\u2019 (\u2018Sobib\u00f3r\u2019s last survivor: There was no time to fear, only to live\u2019, Ynet News,<\/em> 09.18.14<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn its coverage, the Reuters<\/em> news agency also pointed out that the archaeologists \u2018believed\u2019 they had found the \u2018gas chambers\u2019: \u2018Archaeologists excavated beneath the road and found lines of bricks, laid four deep, where they believe the walls of the gas chambers used to stand\u2019 (\u2018Archaeologists uncover buried gas chambers at Sobib\u00f3r death camp\u2019, Reuters,<\/em> Sep 18, 2014<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe same Reuters<\/em> article then produced another example of how the Holocaust narrative continually changes: it stated that prisoners were killed in \u2018fifteen minutes with carbon monoxide gas,\u2019 and\u2014incredibly\u2014that the Germans kept geese to hide the screams of the dying from other prisoners (!).<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe structure of the unearthed foundations\u2014in a place where no-one disputes that there were buildings in the first place\u2014is therefore totally at variance with the \u2018murder facility\u2019 claims.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe media coverage given to these excavations is therefore, typically, completely false.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Winter added that he \u201calso noted with amusement that Ivar Schute from the Netherlands was part of this Sobib\u00f3r archeological dig team. This is the same Schute who famously humiliated himself in public, along with Caroline Sturdy Colls<\/strong><\/span>,<\/span><\/a> by completely misidentifying a Dziewulski i Lange porcelain factory mullet star as a \u201cStar of David\u201d in a comic\u2014but pathetic\u2014film claiming to have found the \u2018gas chamber\u2019 at Treblinka.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe claims about the latest Sobib\u00f3r \u201cexcavations\u201d are clearly as bogus as Schute\u2019s earlier fantasies about \u201cgas chamber tiles\u201d at Treblinka.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In summary, Winter wrote, \u201cthere is no evidence at all these foundations are actually those of \u2018gas chambers.\u2019\u00a0 This is simply an invention by the \u2018archeological team\u2019 claiming to have found something that they themselves\u2014as evidence in the media coverage outlined above, only \u2018think\u2019 and \u2018believe\u2019 are gas chambers.
