The Hunger Strike is Over

By Mike James in Germany – 9 June, 2012

On account of severe exhaustion, weakness, ataxia, an inability to concentrate on the written word and in response to the loving advice of my fellow patriots, I have decided to end my hunger strike in my demands for an immediate referendum as to whether or not we, the English people, choose to remain within the parasitic Soviet European Union.
This has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made in my life. I have absolutely no regard for my own health, but much of what my readers have told me has not only reduced me to tears, but also made me see things in a different light: stay alive and fight! I now have almost three hundred unanswered e-mails in my inbox. For the moment, I have neither the strength nor the intellectual stamina to answer all of them. I am wiped-out. I feel as if I have personally fought the Battle of Stalingrad, and then some. I am shattered.
This is the first major battle I have lost. I feel defeated, demoralised, physically kaput and ever so sad. But there is a remote place high up within the Taunus mountain range where I can sit, listen to the breeze make gentle play of the foliage and recuperate. This is the solitude I need.
This morning, I received a letter from an English doctor advising me as to how to break a hunger strike. I have no choice but to comply with this gentleman’s advice. It will take me over two weeks (the duration of my protest) to slowly and gently re-introduce the foods I can tolerate. I must rest and give myself time to heal naturally. It is as well that I remain offline while recovering my health. In fact, I doubt I shall ever write again.
I must sincerely apologise to those who thought I could win. More painfully, I must forgive myself. I thought I had the strength, but, at my age, obviously not. It is no fun collapsing on the street or finding oneself unable to carry out the most simple of daily tasks.
I thank all of my readers for the support and advice they have dispensed. In particular I take my hat off to a true Irish patriot, Tony. He knows the score. I should also wish to add that a certain Annette Rose Smith, a formidable Englishwoman, a latter-day Boadicea, helped to sustain me with her strength of character and conviction. No other woman is braver than she; and I suspect that, one day, she will become the first leader of a Free-State England.
I beg your understanding in accordance with the medical advice I have been given. Please do not be in any way offended for my not having replied to all of my e-mail correspondence. Once I have recovered my health in a fortnight to three weeks from now, and despite my internet connection problems, you shall hear from me.
We have a war to fight and win. Our people must survive. Should we remain healthy and intellectually strong, we shall regain domain over our own nation states, our freedoms, our pride and our love for one another. As Celtic-Saxon warriors, this is not only your God-given right, but also your destiny.
I love all of you. You are True Grit.
