Introduction — Oct 19, 2015

Was she “suicided”? Her death certainly looks highly suspicious. We leave readers to decide but Xymphora has some intriguing speculation on Sutton’s demise.

Jacky Sutton: British journalist who worked for BBC found dead at airport in Istanbul

Olivia Blair — The Independent Oct 19, 2015

A former BBC journalist has been found dead in suspicious circumstances at an airport in Turkey.

Jacqueline Sutton, known as Jacky, died at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport on her way to Irbil, Iraq, according to Turkish media.

A journalist and student, she was due to carry out fieldwork in Irbil for a PhD on international development support to female media professionals in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is not yet known how Ms Sutton, 50, died. Friends questioned Turkish media reports that she killed herself after missing a connecting flight to Erbil and not having the money to buy another ticket.

Rebecca Cooke told the Press Association: “Shocking and sad news about the death of Jacky Sutton in Istanbul. An international, not just local investigation is needed.”

MISSING PIECE

Xymphora — Sunday Oct 18, 2015

“Broke British woman hangs herself in Turkish airport after missing flight”  “British woman commits suicide at Istanbul airport after missing flight to Iraq”

Liz Sly (!!!) provides the missing piece in a tweet:

“This is awful & weird. Jacky Sutton of IWPR Baghdad killed herself at Istanbul airport after missing her flight.(??) http://national.bgnnews.com/british-woman-commits-suicide-at-istanbul-airport-after-missing-flight-to-iraq-haberi/10380 …”

“Jacky Sutton’s career in the conflict zone”  “Jacky Sutton”

IWPR (Institute for War and Peace Reporting – I can’t reach its website) is an NGO, with Anne Appelbaum (!!!) amongst its directors.  It flies completely under the radar as a neocon outlet, despite its fascination with neocon subjects and its iffy board of directors.  I’m sure she didn’t kill herself but was probably murdered by some entity trying to prevent a color revolution or similar Zio-American nonsense in Iraq.

Is this part of the new Russian proactive program (i.e., kill them before they kill you)?  It would be wonderful if the fucking neocons for once had to start looking over their shoulders.  This woman probably thought she was doing good working for good people,  but the looming presence of Anne Appelbaum shouts otherwise.
