Due to what he felt was an emergent fascism in the U.S. twenty years ago, satirist CJ Hopkins emigrated from America to Germany. As he notes however, the gods have a strange sense of humour and a Berlin court recently cleared him of disseminating “pro-Nazi” propaganda. Here is the statement he read to the court on his acquittal
