Low power microwave devices are no safer than high power devices. In fact the converse is true. In the 1960s and 1970s, the Soviets examined hundreds of individuals who had been exposed to microwave radiation and they consistently found that the sickest were those who had been exposed to the lowest, not the highest power levels.
