Best Picture "Chicago" Celebrates Jewish Duplicity

"Don't shoot, I am alone," a husband pleads with his wife after she catches him in bed with two naked women.

"But I can see two women," she objects.

"Don't believe what you see," he instructs her. "Believe what I tell you."

The wife shoots her husband in this scene from the new movie musical "Chicago". But the show is dedicated to the cynical premise that the American public is not so astute.

"Chicago" is by the author of "Cabaret", Fred Ebb. Where the mantra of "Cabaret" is "money makes the world go round," the sequel proclaims power turns on deception, propaganda and control of the media.

It is ironic that when many Americans suspect Zionists of dragging their country into an unnecessary war, a movie that celebrates Jewish duplicity would receive 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.

"Chicago" epitomizes the bogus religion of secular humanism.

The idea that morality and truth are man-made and relative, rather than Divine and absolute, is the cause of our cultural and moral demise.

According to Irving Kristol, Jews in America "proudly identify themselves as Jews but their religion, for the most part, is only Jewish in its externals. At the core it is secular humanist." (The Future of American Jewry)

"Chicago" is set on Death Row in Chicago's Women's Jail, where killers of cheating men brazenly proclaim, "He had it coming." "Roxie Hart," wife of Amos, murdered her lover because he promised to advance her singing career but dumped her instead.

"Irish" lawyer Billy Flynn is the only person who can save Roxie's neck. He has never lost a case. Luckily, Flynn is money-minded and accepts a reduced fee from Roxie's devoted cuckold husband.

Flynn's practice is to invent a crowd-pleasing story about his client, and create media hysteria. There is an eerie scene where Flynn is a giant puppeteer controlling dozens of puppet-reporters. Another evocative scene shows him as a ventriloquist voicing Roxie Hart's words. (Imagine Dubya on his lap.) Finally, there are the winks and hand signals he gives the judge suggesting corruption.

Flynn tells Roxie: "You got nothing to worry about. It's all a circus, kid. A three-ring circus. This trial? The whole world? all show business. But kid you're working with a star, the biggest!

Give em the old Razzle Dazzle...
What if your hinges are all a rusting?
What if, in fact, you're just disgusting?
Razzle dazzle 'em.
And they'll never catch wise!
How can they hear the truth above the roar?
Throw 'em a fake and a finagle
They'll never know you're just a bagel...
They let you get away with murder..."

To drive home the point, another inmate, a devout Hungarian Catholic woman does not have the money or the "smarts" to hire Billy Flynn. We see her praying to Jesus Christ but Jesus does not help her. She goes to the gallows. We see her swing. We see them take her coffin away. The Christian is a loser.

Her death is only seen in terms of what could happen to Roxie. The Jury is out. The newspapers have printed two batches with headlines GUILTY and INNOCENT. The audience knows Roxie is guilty. She killed a man with a wife and five small children just because he had her without paying the price.

If Hollywood were doing what it should, Roxie would be found guilty. The world would be portrayed as a place where Billy Flynn's chicanery does not prevail, where eternal values are supreme, where you can't "get away with murder."

But Roxie is found innocent, of course. In the religion of secular humanism, this is the way the world works. Anything else would be preachy. But, isn't this preaching too? Doesn't the religion create the world?

Secular Humanism or "The Chosen People Syndrome"

I am no expert on Judaism so I welcome guidance. The following is my personal research proposal. I believe intuition must precede research. I have a hunch that Judaism is flawed and this is why so many Jews divert their energy to other religious or social movements. The flaw is that the Jewish God is a tribal assertion rather than a universal spirit. Judaism is a Covenant or contract. If Jews obey certain laws, God will favour them above all others.

The God of the Old Testament is capricious, xenophobic and often barbaric. He demands human sacrifices and promises to slaughter Israel's enemies. He is sometimes mystical and good but often mysterious and unknowable. Mostly he is a means by which the Jews affirm their special status.

Thus, the Jewish religion is the Jewish people. From there, it is a small step for the "chosen people" to help promote the fraudulent vision that man is God, i.e. secular humanism and materialism. In this bogus religion, man creates reality (truth) and might makes right (truth).

Jesus provided a New Covenant that would have restored perspective. It would have given Jews a loving God and taught love for their fellow man. But their leaders, fearing the loss of control, tried to undermine Christianity and promote anti Semitism, which fell on the Jewish masses.

The trend to secular humanism, no doubt also due to many other forces, has been dominant for the past two centuries. It certainly has not been all bad. People have been allowed to accept their natural instincts. Perhaps the tyranny of the church had to be broken in order for Christian truth to be rediscovered.

But secular humanism has produced a more odious tyranny, that of lust and greed. Our destructive nauseating obsession with sex is an example. TV and movies assume that sex appeal is the only thing that gives women legitimacy. They think this legitimacy will spill over to art and commerce. The frenetic half-naked dancers in "Chicago" remind me of circus bears in tutus. There is no sex appeal without dignity, no dignity without culture, and no culture without religion.

The secular humanist tyranny finds expression on the political level. The Iraq war is a "war of civilizations," a diabolical attack on Islam, the faith of 1.3 billion people and the last bastion of Godliness. A campaign against "terror" has been invented to justify this war and to restrict the ability of Americans to resist.

As "chosen people," organized Jewry made alliances with other elitists, like the British oligarchy and the Rockefeller-Morgan cartel, who also wish to rule the world. They are behind this war that threatens to split mankind. Ordinary Jews and many others have been manipulated into becoming manipulators. It has been the path to success.

Roxie Hart and her partner, Velma Kelly, another of Flynn's satisfied clients, take to the stage. "Thank you for your belief in our innocence," they say in the finale. "You know, a lot of people have lost faith in America. And for what America stands for. But we are the living examples of what a wonderful country this is."

Roxie mentions that show people need the audience's applause because they didn't get enough love as children. Of course we know that Jews dominate U.S. show business. This has been my experience as a Jew too. Growing up I felt I had to "succeed" to be loved.

Is this why so many Jews are over achievers? Is it built into the religion? Instead of a God of Love, who loves unconditionally, the Jewish God demands worldly achievement?

Is the world "a three-ring circus" because the Jewish God does not love?
