More UK Troops Killed in Afghanistan

Britain’s Ministry of Defence announced that three British soldiers soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan and a fourth seriously wounded.

The men were killed when there patrol was ambushed in the north of Helmand province early this morning.

According to a spokesman, “a pair of UK vehicles were attacked by insurgents who were armed with rocket propelled grenades and a heavy machine gun."

Long regarded as a Taleban stronghold, British forces began deploying in strength in Helmand in May this year.
