As this website and
others have already noted, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is in all likelyhood a creation of the coalition intelligence services. Or at least his his exploits have been richly embroidered by the intelligence services in conjuction with psyops to serve their own purposes. He has not been seen since late 2001 and all that we know of him since then has been from prisoner confessions and statements, issued by
people coalition intelligence claim to be Zarqawi.
Despite official Iranian
denials, apparently he has now fled to Iran for surgery, or so claims a story in London's Sunday Times. Apart from being yet another episode in the saga of the elusive Jordian, it conveniently casts Iran in a bad light and thereby provides further 'evidence' of Iranian support for terror.
In the end analysis, the following is yet another example of the mainstream media being used to serve an ulterior agenda. In this case, the ultimate aim being to set Iran up as the next target in the ongoing "war on Terror". Ed.
