(this time helped shamefully and irresponsibly by large sectors of the progressive left) the next US president will be able to count as never before on the support of his victims.

Gates could approve plans for a major build-up of U.S. forces in Afghanistan before President-elect Barack Obama takes office on Jan. 20. Why waiting when nothing has changed?
Selling a president is not different from selling any other product and the Obama brand has become popular.

After having campaigned for Mr. Change and contributed to one of the most successful brainwashing campaign in recent history, the major "anti-war" movement organizations in the US and UK and many prominent leftists continue to project their delusions and try to intimidate those few skeptical voices that have been alerting to the dangers of this madness. Once again Cassandra has been called names.
Influential intellectuals, activists and other members of the Western politburo keep repeating, "change has come"; it will be much easier now to put pressure on the US administration with Obama in the White House.
Obama begs to differ:
The president-elect has told some Democrats that he expects to take heat from parts of his political base but will not be deterred by it.
