The Bush White House is usually a 9 - 5 operation, so I thought it might be significant to look at the times that Gannon exited after 5:00 PM.
Gannon stayed late at least 13 times. A few things that stand out for these dates are:
1. Bush was in the White House on those days.
2. On many of these days, Jeff went to a mid day briefing and then spent most of the afternoon and early evening at the WH before checking out.
3. On a majority of these days, Bush was hosting foreign dignitaries in the afternoon after the breifing, including Tony Blair.
So did Bush hire Gannon for his 'entertainment' skills?
Considering the fact that Gannon is a self-admitted gay prostitute, I would speculate that Gannon was hired by the WH for more than his writing abilities. The whole jounalist bit, might have just been a ploy to sneak a male prostitute into the WH when the Bush's were 'entertaining'.
How many world leaders got to enjoy his proverbial 8" cut? Naughty boys.
Maher noted the discrepancies in Gannon's Secret Service logs and asked Gannon if he ever conducted "personal business" in the White House during these offtimes.
There's lots of things that go on at the White House when there aren't briefings.
I've been to briefings with other administration officials. Condoleeza Rice, Alberto Gonzales, Andy Card, Dan Bartlett.
I've gone down to the T-Ball games on the south lawn on Sunday afternoons in the summer. A lot of times I would go down to meet the President when he returned form a trip and stand a long the rope line trying to shout a question at him, that's what reporters do.
That first name is interesting because Condoleeza Rice herself has refered to GW Bush as "my husband."
The name Alberto Gonzales is interesting because Sherman Skolnick of the Citizens' Committee to Clean Up the Courts reports that Jeff Gannon consulted with Alberto "torture boy" Gonzales on the best way to use s&m for the "shock and awe" torture at Abu Gharib.
As Bill Maher pointed out, Gannon pimped himself with the tagline "I leave an impression, but I don't leave marks."
Perhaps there is something interesting about he names of Andy Card and Dan Bartlett; but this website is as of yet not aware.
The helicopter rope line allusion is interesting because it recalls the infamous Clinton-Lewinsky rope line video.
Is there an interesting piece of Gannon-Bush rope line video out there?
Anyway, back to the "personal business" question. If Gannon was still a professional escort, intimate activities would be professional business, not personal business.
