So you think that the end of the Second World War saw the defeat of the Nazis and the end of the Third Reich. Right?
Wrong. We are witnessing its reincarnation in the emergent New World Order, only this time it’s smarter and got Public Relations honed to a fine art. In effect the window dressing’s better but at its heart there’s still an unspoken, impenetrable darkness.
When Swedish police shot three anti globalisation demonstrators last year British Prime Minister Tony Blair immediately defended the Swedish authorities. The demonstrations, he said, were a complete “outrage”; whilst the Swedish authorities themselves defended their action on the pretext that their men had fired in “self defence.” Belying this was video film showing a young demonstrator being shot in the back after taunting the police.
So much for “self defence.”
The only real “outrage” is the fact that our so-called ‘free press’ seem oblivious to some very real stories and perspectives that are at odds with conventional wisdom. For example, over half a million children die in Iraq as a direct result of UN sanctions and British and American military action and what has the mainstream media said? For nigh on ten years virtually nothing. In effect our ‘free press’ has been complicit in covering up what is essentially an ongoing modern day Holocaust.
Likewise islanders stormed an RAF base on Cyprus after a Cypriot MP was arrested leading a demonstration against the construction of microwave transmitters last summer. The transmitters, said MP Marios Matsakis, were “Satanic.” Did the media investigate his claim? Not exactly, instead we got what passes for “news”; we got graphic footage of rioting, Prime Minister Tony Blair’s condemnation of the violence and bland assurances from the authorities that microwave towers are indeed safe. On the face of it the rioting was yet another unjustified “outrage.”
Or so we are led to believe. Yet reports coming in from predominately Catholic west Belfast, where there are many British military microwave transmitters, indicate quite the contrary. Doctors there report a phenomenal increase in the number of cancers that they link directly to microwave transmissions from nearby military bases. Whole streets of people, young and old, are being stricken with cancer. In the words of one surgery manager we spoke to they are witnessing an “epidemic” of cancers. So it’s really no overstatement to characterise the transmitters as “Satanic.”
And how does the mainstream media react to this “outrage”? Does it ask questions and investigate?
Once again it answers with a deafening silence. As Norman Soloman pointed out the mainstream media is actually assisting in the birth of a New World Order whilst continually protesting its ‘independence.’ After all you aren’t going to trust something that officially declares itself to be a mouthpiece for the N.W.O; but the pronouncements from ‘independent’ and ‘impartial’ sources are much more likely to be accepted.
Finally it should be stressed that most journalists are not consciously trying to suppress the truth, they simply have no instinct for it. Instead they have career goals, professional pride and personal vanity; all of which leaves them and their reporting wide open to subtle manipulation. Which is where, on cue, the spin doctors come in.
Goebbels, Hitler’s propaganda minister, would have loved it.
