Pastor Terry Jones defiance is a measure of how far America has fallen into ignorance and decline.
As anyone who bothers to research the facts for themselves knows, Muslims were NOT behind 9/11.
However, Pastor Terry Jones gets his information from the corporate media – the very people who repeated unfounded claims about Saddam’s Weapons of Mass Destruction.
And even though his actions will put the lives of American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan at risk, Pastor Terry Jones has vowed that he will burn copies of the Koran.
This writer is not a Muslim but it even makes me angry, if only because it reveals just how ignorant Americans have become.
The commander of U.S. forces in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus has warned that 'images of the burning of a Koran would undoubtedly be used by extremists in Afghanistan - and around the world - to inflame public opinion and incite violence'.
Military commanders don’t usually comment on domestic matters, but Gen Petraeus said that the stunt would put troops' lives at risk.
Nonetheless, Pastor Jones has vowed to go ahead with burning copies of the Koran.
He is an example of what Americans are fast becoming: backward, profoundly ignorant and easily manipulated by their Zionist owned media.
Empires don't usually decline so precipitously. Yet in less than a century the United States has come from being a rising beacon of hope to a declining world power, most of whose citizens have a backwater mentality.
Little wonder then that Zionists despise modern Americans even as they exploit them.
Not only has America been tricked into supporting Israel financially – despite its economic decline – it has also be duped into fighting Israel’s wars too.
In fact Zionists must be relishing the prospect of the promised Koran burning.
Copies of Islam’s holiest book have been posted to Pastor Jones to put on a bonfire this Saturday to mark the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. And we would not be surprised if some were posted by ardent Zionists eager to exploit the situation and Pastor Jones own abysmal ignorance.
If Pastor Jones and his followers were not afflicted with such parochialism, they’d know that Islam and Christianity have much in common. That the supposed differences between the two faiths have been exacerbated in order to orchestrate a third world war. Just as
General Albert Pike outlined more than a century ago.
Such knowledge is beyond the grasp of Pastor Jones however. And his wilful ignorance, for that is essentially what it is, doesn’t come without consequences.
Pastor Jones may not realise it but his actions may lead to the deaths of many more Americans even as it marks the final phase in the terminal decline of the United States of America.
Those with some degree of awareness have already left its shores, like
Smoking Mirrors. Those who remain had better ready themselves to face an uncertain future when, no matter how dark the outlook or how badly afflicted, they will find little sympathy from the rest of the world.
America left its mark on the last century like no other nation and soon those marks will come back to haunt it. From Hiroshima and Nagasaki, from Fallujah and the back streets of Gaza, even from its own long dead indigenous peoples, America’s collective karma will soon return to demand payback.
