“Very potentially serious news from China has been eclipsed by the idiot Sarah Palin and her mindless resignation as Governor of Alaska. What happens in China is serious but Palin is merely comic relief. The booming Chinese economy is quickly collapsing into ruin. China’s production was based entirely on sales to the United States and when we entered our recession cycle, it suddenly stopped our imports of various unnecessary luxury goods and the Chinese economy came to a sudden halt. Tens of thousands of workers were suddenly laid off as thousands of small factories closed their doors from lack of foreign orders and many workers were summarily evicted from their state-owned urban housing. There is growing and very serious internal unrest in China and ethnic upheavals are popping to the surface. To add to their internal worries, our CIA is fomenting serious internal problems in the annexed area of Tibet (we are interested in the huge gold resources of Tibet, not the Dali Lama and his people) and also it is to note that China has very little oil of her own and has to import huge amounts of it to fuel her burgeoning industries. Now, with the industry withering away, the needs for oil are diminishing and Chinese purchase of foreign oil are sharply diminishing. This, in turn, creates more international economic problems but what with the Palin side show, the hysterical uproar over the death of Michael Jackson and other unnecessary distractions, China’s dilemma has been locked in the men’s lavatory.”
