How does flu get replaced by Covid? If we remember in late 2018/19 we were messaged that expected flu in the Northern Hemisphere for Winter 2019/20 was supposed to be worse than usual. I get the free flu vaccine, or should I say, I get the offer from my doctor, but I also received a letter from Cardiff, some NHS unit reminding me in the strongest terms to have a flu vaccine shot. I think it is a bit rich to say Covid texted all the flu virons telling them to stand-down because Covid pulled rank? I would rather think that medics were diagnosing Covid when patients actually had flu. Remember that for months, the medical elite and fake news ran with the fear campaigns that health systems would struggle to distinguish between Covid and flu… so they expected to deal with both at the same time. No one ever postulated that Covid would pull rank and flu would stay at home.
I have some serious concerns with Ivor Cummins’s script and choice of language in this update. It’s almost that he’s been told, or forced to bend his interpretation of the data.

The minute all this bollox started, I was in a bar and said to my friend:
“you know you’ve got this forever now don’t you? Social distancing, lockdowns, masks….this is never going away. At the moment you’re angry, but you will slowly begin to accept it. It’s called conditioning. They’ll make like really bad, so that you’re glad when the previous lockdown measures are imposed and be happy to follow social distancing and lockdowns.”

Everything in story is correct except one: viruses are not living being so they do not compete between each other. That’s not the reason there is no flu cases this year. The real reason is that nobody is testing population for flu viruses only for covid19.
