People who fail to get a Covid-19 vaccination could be banned from using public transport in France, according to a draft law sparking angry protests from opposition politicians on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Jean Castex on Monday got his cabinet’s backing for a bill that is designed to provide a legal framework for dealing with health crises, including the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the text, which will now be submitted to parliament, a negative Covid test or proof of a “preventative treatment, including the administration of a vaccine” could be required for people to be granted “access to transport or to some locations, as well as certain activities”.
According to opinion polls, 55 percent of French people say they will not get a Covid-19 shot, one of the highest rates in the European Union.
President Emmanuel Macron has promised that coronavirus vaccinations, though strongly recommended, will not be mandatory.
But opposition politicians condemned the draft law, with Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-right Rassemblement National (RN) party, calling it an “essentially totalitarian” measure.
“In a backhanded way, this bill does not aim to make vaccinations mandatory, but will prevent anybody who doesn’t comply from having a social life,” she said.
RN party spokesman Sebastien Chenu said Macron’s government was planning “a health dictatorship”.
Guillaume Peltier, deputy leader of the centre-right Les Républicains (LR) party, said it was “inconceivable” that the government should be allowed to “get all the power to suspend our freedoms without parliamentary control.”
Centrist senator Nathalie Goulet said the draft was “an attack on public freedoms”, while the far-left deputy Alexis Corbière said “we could a least have a collective discussion if the idea is to limit our public liberties.”
In response, Public Sector Minister Amelie de Montchalin said the bill was “not at all made to create exceptional powers for the government” or “create a health state.”
She said there would be a debate about the bill during which “everything that needs clarification will be clarified.”
The EU gave the green light for a Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine on Monday, paving the way for the first inoculations to start across 27 countries just after Christmas.
In some aspects of life this can backfire. What if enough train drivers, lorry drivers, pilots, doctors, police officers and so forth refuse to take the vaccine and the economy or society cannot continue? If the elite take their ball home like some spiteful kid it’s the end of the game.
I think France is a bit of a crystal ball. Forget the WEF, France is where it’s at with the globalist’s agenda to break up a highly successful society. Many poke fun (especially the UK fake news) at the French for being so disgruntled with their lot in life, but this is the wrong way of looking at it. The French people have VERY HIGH expectations from the republic & they fight for their way of life… 4 day weeks, way more productive than the UK. 6 weeks or holidays, generous sick pay, fantastic railways and roads & markets and supermarkets that make UK supermarkets look shabby.
France has been run by determined Zionists. No point doing this in the UK, it is already a mess. The Germans were attacked, but the bankers lost and gave up. So now it is France’s turn to be destroyed. Even if you can see a sliver of sense in Maron’s plans, it doesn’t stop with one reform, the reforms just keep coming… as we’ve suffered in the UK & we are at the point where there is nothing left to destroy… even the coup plotters are considering renationalisations, that is how effed up the UK is. The French are fighting for their way of life, & it can’t be long before some real domestic terrorism starts in France. The art of fighting and keeping things underground in France is still very much alive. So France is a place to keep an eye on.

This something most of us already know but well worth restating: for arguments sake, let’s say vaccination works. Then the only people “at risk” are those of us unvaccinated. So those buying the scamdemic/vax narrative have “nothing” to worry about.
