The following reports makes great deal of noise about how a ‘performance artist’ of Marina Abramović’s stature will take over Sky Arts for a day. However, it omits to mention that Abramović has been linked to Comet Ping Pong, a Washington Pizzaria that was at the centre of allegations involving powerful U.S. politicians and the kidnapping and abuse of children and underage teens.
It also breathes not a word of reports that suggested that Abramović was associated with ritual human sacrifice. Although, like all con artists she has a plausible alibi for that: in that some of her performances depicted ‘pretend’ cannibalism.

Pretend or not, Marina Abramović’s take over of Sky Arts could mark the thin edge of the wedge. Where we could see performances of ritual human sacrifice and cannibalism, and if that happens it may only be a matter of time before those ‘performance arts’ simulations become real.
After all, if you had suggested in the 1960s that one day homosexuality would be graphically depicted on TV no one would have believed you. As we now know, that’s no longer the case and such content is now broadcast regularly.

It was confirmed today that Marina Abramović will be the first artist in history to take over an entire TV channel. Exclusive to Sky Arts, Marina will be bringing her unique vision to television for the first time, telling the 100-year story of performance art- now the fastest growing, most controversial art form in the world.
Her mission is simple: to take performance art to as wide, diverse, young and global an audience as possible.
For the course of one evening, Marina will take over a dramatic TV space, deep diving into the very origins of performance art and its evolution to modern day, showcasing live performance from the most diverse, exciting, emerging artists in the world. Conceptually, this will be a mix of programmes and archive fronted by Marina, plus live and ‘as live’ performance.
Marina will explore the big themes of the art form to which she has devoted her life, making connections between the human body, sculpture, film, music, fashion, advertising, dance, community, society, spirituality and even life and death. The result will be eye-popping, beautiful, baffling, funny, heart-stopping and mind blowing.
The performance will contain elements of her own personal inspirations, from Dada and Salvador Dali to David Bowie, Cabaret Volaire, to Maria Calls, Surrealism to the Sex Pistols. This will culminate in a climatic final performance with mass participation led by Marina herself. The evening will not just educate and entertain Sky Arts viewers: it will shock, surprise, thrill and seduce.
Today’s announcement follows Sky Arts recent move to become a free-to-air channel, supercharging its mission to increase access to and drive participation in the arts, at a vital time for the cultural sector.
Marina’s Sky Arts takeover will air on Sky Arts this December and will be produced by Northern Town productions.

From an early age I was aware that we should not be fighting with Germany. By the age of six I knew that my generation (the baby boomers) born during the second-world-war would witness the rise of the anti-Christ, in an attempt to take control of our planet. I heard someone say they wanted to reduce the world’s population by two thirds. Two days later I heard of the coronavirus. It has been exaggerated in order to prevent us meeting up. Parliament are acting as evil dictators trying to force everyone to undergo their life-threatening treatment. If we don’t succumb, we are threatened with being shut out of life. Fortunately more and more people are waking up. We are told that an increasing number of people are becoming paranoid and unable to cope. This is merely because they are aware of the terrible changes being made. The answer is to stand up to the anti-Christ mob and stop supporting political parties. Despite what they say all the main parties as well as communists have exactly the same world-government agenda.
