It says something about the perilous state of US politics when an election between two old reprobates will be decided by which side cheated best. The Democrats actually spoiled their best chance of forming the government when they cheated Bernie Sanders of the nomination a second time. But then Sanders walked away quietly so if he can let himself be robbed a second time and walk away without fuss, it raises questions about his political strength and what a weak administration his would likely have been.
If Biden loses it means the Democrats have stolen it for Trump.

I don’t think you have read much about Lincoln. Out in the back woods of places like Illinois at the time and even in the wild West it was common for men in hotels to share beds and even rooming houses without a thought of homosexuality because separate beds were simply on many occasions not available. Comradery, and close friendships were more prevalent than in present times and men relied on storytelling with friends for much of their entertainment. The only news media was the local paper, and for entertainment you had books, the occasional recital, a dance hall, booze, and if you lived in a big city you could sometimes go to the theatre or some show in town. Lincoln recounted stories about men who shared the same bed with him and you have to remember that as a lawyer traveling around with a judge and other lawyers on horseback on the Assizes before he became President, he was likely used to the practice and they probably carried conversations with friends on long into the night. That was a common practice but there is no basis to say they engaged in homosexual practices, and if they did they would not be so liberal in mentioning such a practice as sharing a bed with so and so.
