Trump never had the Covids, that is why he is out of the hospital so fast, that is if he actually went there which I doubt.

Just because the test was developed in the 1080s doesn’t mean it can’t be used to detect new things.
It works with a “primer sequence” which matches the sequence we want to amplify. Then we run a cycle and there will be twice as much of the target RNA sequence now in the sample. Then we run another cycle, doubling each time. If you run 30 cycles then there will be a billion times as much of the original RNA sequence in the sample. At 40 cycles there will be about a trillion times as many.
The test is not bullshit because the technique was developed in the 1980s. It is bullshit because it detects parts of dead viruses and parts of other viruses than happen to match the primer sequence (which isn’t even very long in this case, and sometimes even appears in people’s own DNA).
This video, judging by the first 40 seconds at least, is a straw man argument at best. PCR is a technique. The Covid test was created more recently. The primer sequence used determines what gets amplified and detected. The fact that the method is 40 years old means nothing.
