The bombing crisis in Sweden continues, as Tuesday evening saw yet another attack. This is the second time an explosion has taken place in the same place in just 2 months.
The attack took place in at an apartment building in Gröndal in southern Stockholm.
On Christmas Eve the very same building was attacked in another explosion.
“Just before nine o clock there was a considerable explosion in the port and smoke came into my apartment” a witness living in the area told Aftonbladet.
According to Aftonbladet, the target of the attack is the same person that was the target in the explosion on Christmas Eve.
The man who is around 35 years old has served several long prison sentences, amongst other things for several brutal robberies where victims have been threatened with their life.
Just as recently as September 2019 the man was arrested at Arlanda airport, where he was carrying euro and dollars to the worth of almost $21 000.
Neighbors report that two young males were seen running from the apartment staircase in connection with the explosion.
One witness said that “it was a considerable explosion. It was uncomfortable”.
There are no reports of any injuries.
Only a few days ago there was a large detonation in the city of Borås in Sweden.
Last year saw a record number of 257 bombings. Since 2017 there have been 630 explosions in Sweden.
