Weird Universe: Are We Meant To Be Here? (Part 2)

PART 2 : We Are Meant To Be Here

Lasha Darkmoon – Feb 15, 2020

In Part 1 of this essay (‘Weird Universe: Are We Meant To Be Here?”), I discussed the strange ideas of William Blake (1757-1827), England’s famous poet-painter and mystic. He had managed to combine his own wacky version of Christianity with an uninhibited tantric sexual mysticism that most of his contemporaries found ridiculous, if not repugnant, and which the subsequent age of Queen Victoria would regard with revulsion and horror.

Blake and Swedenborg Compared

I will now say a few more words about this renowned eccentric—whose poem The Tyger happens to be the most anthologised poem in the English language—before passing on to the equally bizarre ideas of Swedish mystic Emanuel Swedenborg and Renaissance supergenius Leonardo da Vinci.
Unlike most orthodox Christians, who think of angels as ethereal creatures who spend most of their time chanting hymns to God, Blake imagined the angels as highly sexed ecstatics enjoying endless orgasms in the heavenly gardens all day with their fellow angels. It is more than likely that Blake’s predecessor and spiritual mentor, Emanuel Swedenborg, would have looked kindly on his disciple’s carnally exuberant picture of the angels. Anyway, he would not have disapproved of Blake’s erotocentric ideas, given that his own ideas were remarkably similar. [1]
Swedenborg’s most famous book, Heaven and Hell (1758) had a major effect on Blakes’s thinking and helped to shape his entire worldview, even though he would often rage against his Swedish master (see Part 1) as an ignoramus who had listened to the angels but failed to give ear to the devils—unlike Blake himself, who tells us he had imbibed wisdom from both parties.
“One of Blake’s engravings,” we are told, “shows a female figure whose vulva has been translated into an altar, with an erect penis standing like a holy statue at its centre. This is a visual representation of Swedenborg’s idea of sex as a religious sacrament.” [2]
Blake would often open his front door to visitors in the nude, his beloved wife Catherine standing beside him equally naked. “Come in!” the great man would cry. “It’s only Adam and Eve, you know!” [3]
Even the relatively conventional Wordsworth was forced to admit that Blake, for all his eccentricity, was a genius—”an insane genius“, he explained helpfully. [4]
Blake himself was never lonely [we read in a recent essay on Blake and his influence] for he was forever seeing visions of angels. The famous portrait of him in the Tate exhibition has a slightly startled expression, due, it seems, to the fact that Blake had just been in conversation with the Archangel Gabriel. He started his angelic visions in Peckham Rye [South London] when he was a little boy and he saw “a tree filled with angels, bright angelic wings bespangling every bough like stars”.
On one occasion, when he was still small, he was late home and explained to his mother that he had seen the prophet Ezekiel sitting under a tree. She smacked him.
Later, when he was apprenticed to an engraver, James Basire, his master sent him to Westminster Abbey to take drawings of the monuments and there he saw Christ and the apostles.
What was remarkable is that he took these visions so much for granted. As GK Chesterton says in his brilliant biography of Blake: “He spoke of having met Isaiah or Queen Elizabeth, not so much even as if the fact were indisputable, but rather as if so simple a thing were not worth disputing. Kings and prophets came from heaven or hell to sit to him, and he complained of them quite casually, as if they were rather troublesome professional models. There have been other witnesses to the supernatural even more convincing, but I think there was never any other quite so calm.”
Blake and Swedenborg, both inhabiting a world of angels and demons with whom they conversed matter-of-factly for most of their adult lives, cannot in all conscience be dismissed as mad hatters beyond the intellectual pale. Their prestige and influence are far too great for such cavalier treatment. Even the strictly devout Christina Rossetti (mentioned in Part 1) would have found the Blake/Swedenborg visions of heaven and hell compelling. And Aldous Huxley, who once noted “Maybe this Earth is another planet’s hell“, would have been deeply attentive to the bizarre Hieronymus Bosch landscape of the mind presented by both Swedenborg and Blake.

Leonardo da Vinci and ‘the Cosmic Man’

There is even  striking evidence that Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519), seen by many as the ultimate Renaissance man and world genius without parallel, would have been completely in agreement with Swedenborg’s notion of the Cosmic Man. By the time of his death, aged 67, Leonardo had become an expert in every subject he touched—in painting, drawing, sculpture, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, palaeontology, and cartography. He could even write backwards, so if someone wanted to make sense of his voluminous notes they would have to read them in a mirror.
His preeminence in anatomy, the result of his personal dissection of 30 human corpses (not counting dogs and monkeys), finally enabled him to produce his masterpiece, Vitruvian Man (1490). Recent research on this treasured drawing—unsold because never put on sale but valued for insurance purposes at the astronomical price of $860 million [5]—is based on identical ideas found in Swedenborg’s philosophy of the Cosmic Man.
Leonardo found that the ideal human body, which he called “Vitruvian Man”, based on the architecture of the great Roman architect Vitruvius (circa 75 BC—c.15 BC), could only have been designed by a mathematician. Its proportions were so precise that this could not possibly have resulted from chance or the random mutations of Natural Selection envisaged by Darwin. In short, the human body was the best proof for the existence of God, the Grand Designer, because without God such a mathematical marvel would have been inconceivable.
You can view this masterpiece for yourself if you’re quick. It’s on exhibition at the Louvre in Paris until February 24, 2020, heavily guarded round the clock by wardens with automatic weapons. It will then return to its darkened vault in the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, beyond the reach of art thieves and vandals and the daylight that would damage the fragile 530-year-old work. The drawing is ink on paper and is just 14 inches by 10 inches.
Imagine such a small piece of paper being the same price as 860 houses valued at a million dollars each. It’s mind-boggling. Take a look at the priceless drawing here:

According to Professor Martin Kemp, who has written a biography of Leonardo, the drawing is “seen as representing the unity of the Cosmos and the concept of Man being the measure of all things.”
“Vitruvian Man isn’t just a fine example of da Vinci’s draughtsmanship and a brilliant depiction of man,” notes British author and art critic Harry Mount.  “It also stands for man’s harmonious place in the universe, as a God-created example of the natural symmetry of man, and shows how he fits into science and maths as neatly as the square or the circle.” Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man, it turns out, is identical to Swedenborg’s Cosmic Man: the age-old idea that the Universe is conceived in the form of a man and has the identical mathematical proportions of the ideal human body.
Here is Heinrich Zimmer in his classic treatise on Hinduism,  Philosophies of India, trying to explain the archetypal idea of the Cosmic Man, an idea so old and persistent that it appears to be innate:
[According to] the aboriginal, pre-Aryan tradition, the entire cosmos has a human form, never had a beginning, and will never end. (p.241) He adds that this basic idea, known as THE FIRST MAN,  forms the essence of Jainism, the religion of the modern Parsees who live in North-West India. It then percolated into the Vedas and classical Hinduism where it underwent sophisticated changes and finally flowered into Monism, the idea that All is One: Mind and Matter, Brahman and Atman, God and Man. [6]
To my surprise, Zimmer then mentions Emanuel Swedenborg’s Cosmic Man. This is the identical idea as Jainism’s “First Man”, and the same idea again as Leonardo’s “Vitruvian Man”. There is not a hair’s breadth difference, it would seem,  between these different conceptions of man being the measure of all things and of the universe being in the shape of a man of infinite proportions.

Swedenborg’s Doctrine of the Cosmic Man

Cosmic Man, to my additional amazement, appears to have found its way into Christian mysticism at some point; at any rate, into the esoteric Christian mysticism of Emanuel Swedenborg.  I will allow Sanskrit scholar Heinrich Zimmer again to explain:
The Christian notion of God as a giant human form is rendered by the Swedenborgians in a figure that somewhat suggests the cosmic MAN of the Jainas. Emanuel Swedenborg (1688-1772) experienced in his visions the whole of heaven in this anthropomorphic way. His work Heaven and Its Wonders, the World of Spirits, and Hell: from Things Heard and Seen, states:
“That heaven as one whole represents one man, is an arcanum not yet known in the world, but very well known in the heavens. The angels do not, indeed, see all heaven, collectively, in such a form, for the whole of heaven is too vast to be grasped by the sight of any angel; but they occasionally see distant societies, consisting of many thousands of angels, as one object in such a form…. and, such being the form of heaven, it is also governed by the Lord as one man, and thus as one whole.” [7]
Swedenborg expands on this is his Divine Live and Wisdom: “The whole angelic heaven in the aggregate resembles a single man, and is divided into regions and provinces according to the members, viscera, and organs of man. Thus there are societies of heaven which constitute the province of all things of the brain, of all things of the facial organs, and of all things of the viscera of the body…. Moreover, the angels know in what province of man they are. The whole heaven has this resemblance to man, because GOD IS A MAN. GOD IS ALSO HEAVEN. (Emphasis in original) [8]
“If the sun and moon should ever doubt,” Blake tells us, “they’d immediately go out.”
According to Swedenborg, nothing distresses the angelic host more than man’s disbelief in their existence. It’s so obvious to them that they exist that they are positively sick to death of the ridicule and contempt they receive from us sceptical earthlings.

Swedenborg concludes with a doleful note on hell. “It has not been granted me,” he laments, “to see what form hell is in the whole. It has only been told me, that as the universal heaven, viewed collectively, is as one man, so is the universal hell, viewed collectively, is as one devil, and may also be exhibited to view IN THE SHAPE OF ONE DEVIL (emphasis added). [9]

Does life have meaning?

We have reached a region of Stygian darkness into which even the angels might fear to tread: a dualistic Manichaean universe in which God and the Devil, Good and Evil, exist as separate entities engaged in eternal  warfare. [10]
We are now—if we decide to ditch conventional wisdom and embark on perilous seas of thought—pieces on a cosmic chessboard, being moved around either by God or the Devil. Whether we are free to make our own moves, or have to wait for Someone Else to move us round the chessboard first, is not altogether clear. Free will, foreknowledge, predestination: these are the eternal questions discussed at great length by the devil and his  angels in Milton’s Paradise Lost, and never a certitude emerges above the din of argument. In Milton’s own words— “vain wisdom all and false philosophy.”
Is there a life after death?
Death, according to Swedenborg, is simply “a continuation of life in another world.” The question of a postmortem existence takes on a new meaning now. It would seem we have no choice but to exist, for better or worse.
One of the most brilliant mathematicians and philosophers of the 17th century, Blaise Pascal (1623-1662), had a mind-altering mystical experience which turned his entire life upside down. There was no need for any tiresome logic chopping, ratiocination or “empirical evidence” after that. He had entered into intimate contact with the Divine. And that’s all that mattered:
“On 23 November 1654, between 10:30 and 12:30 at night, Pascal had an intense religious vision and immediately recorded the experience in a brief note to himself which began: “Fire. God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob, not of the philosophers and the scholars…” and concluded by quoting Psalm 119:16: “I will not forget thy word. Amen.” He seems to have carefully sewn this document into his coat and always transferred it when he changed clothes; a servant discovered it only by chance after his death.”
When it comes to the difference between faith and what the scoffers like to call “blind belief”, Pascal said it best: “The heart has its reasons, which reason does not know. We feel it in a thousand things. It is the heart which experiences God, and not the reason. This, then, is faith: God felt by the heart—not by reason.” (See here)
The great physicist Sir James Jeans was once asked in an interview:  “Do you believe that life on this planet is the result of some sort of accident, or do you believe that it is a part of some great scheme?” He replied: “I incline to the idealistic theory that consciousness is fundamental, and that the material universe is derivative from consciousness, not consciousness from the material universe. In general, the universe seems to me to be nearer to a Great Thought than to a great machine. It may well be that each individual consciousness ought to be compared to a brain-cell in a Universal Mind.
This 2-part essay—entitled Weird Universe: Are We Meant To Be Here?—cannot expect to please everyone. Those who do not believe in God or an afterlife will still cling to their entrenched viewpoint that God is a pie-in-the sky invention of cowardly, self-deluding saddos who need a crutch to help them cope with the harsh realities of existence: old age, sickness, death, and the nagging question gnawing away like a persistent toothache—Why are we here if it’s all pointless?”
The God deniers are welcome to their scepticism. But even they, if they are honest, will admit that the universe of modern physics is weird and uncanny—”stranger than we can imagine“, in the words of physicist Sir Arthur Eddington quoted in the epigraph of Part 1. What they will not admit, however, is that we are meant to be here. To the all-important question—Are we meant to be here?— they will answer with a resounding negative: “NO, WE ARE NOT!” If we live in an accidental and meaningless universe, after all, adrift from purpose and in a godless soup of swirling subatomic particles, how can it be asked if we are meant to be here? The very question is absurd.
To these Doubting Thomases I will allow renowned physicist Professor Paul Davies, winner of the prestigious Templeton prize, to pass on his wisdom at this point. These are the concluding sentences of his great seminal work, The Mind of God:
I cannot believe that our existence in this universe is a mere quirk of fate, an accident of history, an accidental blip in the great cosmic drama. Our involvement is too intimate. The physical species Homo may count for nothing, but the existence of mind in some organism on some planet in the universe is surely a fact of fundamental significance. Through conscious beings the universe has generated self-awareness. This can be no trivial detail, no minor byproduct of mindless, purposeless forces. We are truly meant to be here.”  [11]
(Emphasis added)

Every thought is a ripple in an infinite sea. The thoughts of the billions of conscious beings who have lived and died, not only on this earth but in the unimaginably strange worlds in distant galaxies beyond the Milky Way, have helped to build the structure of Reality. The next thought you have will help to alter the universe.
Go in peace, my dear friends. May the love of God be with you and all your sins forgiven.
 Notes (Part 2)
[1]  Swedenborg came from a Moravian background, the Moravians being an extreme Protestant sect from central Europe (founded in the late 14th century) that believed in “justification by faith alone”, allowing them to dispense with traditional morality and enjoy communal sex. The recent discovery of Swedenborg’s Spiritual Diary reveals that he “practised an intensely sexual mysticism. He had researched in detail the attainment of spiritual ecstasy by delaying orgasm, as practised by some Kabbalistic Jewish sects and by the Tantric school of Buddhism.”  — John Lloyd and John Mitchinson, The Q1 Book of the Dead, p.386-7

[3]  “It’s only Adam and Eve you know!” Blake’s exact words to his own benefactor Thomas Butts, as quoted by his first biographer Alexander Gilchrist. — John Lloyd and John Mitchinson, Ibid, p. 387.  Today’s feminists, who hate being seen as “sex objects” by men, would presumably be horrified by Blake’s “objectification” of his own wife as an adorable strumpet. “In a wife I would desire,” Blake confides shockingly in one of his poems, “what in whores is always found.”
[4]  “An insane genius,” Wordsworth reflecting on Blake. He was to add: “There is something in the madness of this man that interests me more than the sanity of Lord Byron or Walter Scott.” — John Lloyd and John Mitchinson, Ibid, p.383
[5]  The $860 million at which Leonardo’s ‘Vitruvian Man’ is valued is dwarfed by the estimated price of Leonardo’s Mona Lisa painting (1503-1519) in the Louvre. Valued at $100 million in 1962, it will soon be worth roughly $3 billion (= 3000 million-dollar houses).

[10] Manichaeans, also known as Manichees, followed the dualistic teachings of the Persian prophet Mani (died c.274 A.D.). Mani’s parents belonged to a Jewish-Christian Gnostic sect, the Elcesaites, who were heavily influenced by Jewish apocalyptic writings (See here). Mani claimed to be a reincarnation (or avatar) of Buddha, Krishna, Zoraster, and Jesus. Manichaeism persisted as a Christian heresy throughout the Middle Ages and was ruthlessly exterminated by the Inquisition. It survives today mainly in China, especially in Quanzhou and around Cao’an; also among some Western religious dissidents with a penchant for Gnosticism and the belief that the material universe was created by an evil demiurge known as Yaldabaoth. 24 responses to “Weird Universe: Are We Meant To Be Here? (Part 2)”

  1. “Maybe this Earth is another planet’s hell“ or maybe earth is hell. Now that we are in the space age we can make a leap of logic and say that civilizations in space are using earth as a dumping ground for those unwanted by space empire. In Lawrence Spencer’s book ‘Alien Interview’ the earth is hell idea is fully explained:

“When an IS-BE is sent to Earth,
and then tricked or coerced into operating in a
biological body, they are actually in a prison, inside a
    prison .

    3) In an effort to permanently and irreversibly rid the
“Old Empire” of such “untouchables”, the eternal

identity, memory, and abilities of every IS-BE is
forcefully erased. This “final solution” 123 (Footnote) was
conceived and carried out by the psychopathic criminals
who are controlled by the “Old Empire”.

The mass extermination of “untouchables” and prison
camps created by Germany during World War II were
recently revealed. Likewise, the IS-BEs of Earth are the
victims of spiritual eradication and eternal slavery
inside frail, biological bodies, inspired by the same
kind of craven hatred in the “Old Empire” .

The kind and creative inmates of Earth are continuously
tortured by butchers and lunatics who are controlled by
the “Old Empire” prison operators. The so-called
“civilizations” of Earth, from the age of useless
pyramids to the age of nuclear holocaust, have been a
colossal waste of natural resources, a perverted use of
intelligence, and an overt oppression of the spiritual
essence of every single IS-BE on the planet.

If The Domain sent ships to every corner of the universe
in search of “Hell”, their quest could end on Earth.

What greater brutality can be inflicted on anyone than
to erase the spiritual awareness, identity, ability,
and memory that is the essence of oneself? ”

Just as empire on earth puts certain unwanted souls away, earth is a dumping ground for unwanted souls just as Australia was a penal colony for the British empire. We also have the Sitchin theory that matches up with this hypothesis, humans were created as slaves and now that the Anunnaki have packed up and left earth, humans have gone feral on the planet’s surface.

I say it is obvious that humans did not evolve on earth, what are the chances that any mammal would evolve hairless in an ice age? The we have other clues, like the fact that we need money to exist – which reeks of godly manipulation of a domesticated specie.

  2. “The God deniers are welcome to their scepticism.”

God should be differentiated. There is the the Creator God of the Universe which is not the same as the alien geneticists who created the human race. The Bible god is not the Creator God. The Bible god is evil, the Bible describes a very evil deity with human emotions, so it is a mistake to think or equate that war god with a creator.

Dr. Jack Pruett, raised Baptist in Texas and fluent in the Bible became a skeptic of the Bible god after studying Sitchin. In his book “The Grandest Deception’ he says: “The Bible is not a story about God or the Supreme Being. The Bible is a story about the Anunnaki”

It is becoming obvious with our technology that space faring races can seed planets with human beings who transform planets into useful assets and resources for empire. Humans on earth may not be the only seeded prison planet, there may be many:

The supreme crime of the Anunnaki was creating a sentient slave race with their own DNA then blaming us for our condition by guilt tripping us with Genesis.

I have a logical hypothesis why the universe is weird. What if the Universe is a Holographic Simulation – and you are you as a sentient being are studying the physics of how it works, would it seem incomprehensible to the simulated being inside the simulation? Of course. So the reason the Universe appears to be weird is where you are as an observer – inside the sim as illustrated by this cartoon:

    Flatland cartoon 2d to 3d

The purpose of the holy book is to convince you that the reality you were born into is THE REALITY if you are imprisoned on earth in the 3 dimensional space – when your soul has access to higher dimensions. Afterall it was the souls that created the physical universe in the first place. So why is the universe weird? Your soul is trapped in a physical body, the body mind is studying the structure of the living fractal hologram from inside the hologram. Thus we have observed all the weird effects at the quantum level.

A good analogy of the impossibility of understanding where we are is the Sim video game or the movie the ‘Thirteenth Floor’. Imagine if a video character became conscious and tried to figure out where they are. If you are a sim awakening in the matrix your universe would seem weird because you can not comprehend that you are a character in a simulation. That appears to be our situation.

According to Aline Interview, while the souls “play” in the 3D physical universe they get caught, imprisoned, manipulated by other souls. For instance in Spencer’s book the Alien Grey says that our souls on earth are imprisoned in bodies and imprisoned on earth – a double secret prison. I ask, is the Universe itself a prison for the soul – was our Universe created as a dumping ground for unwanted souls from another universe?

Physicists ponder why the physical constants are just right for life. This is called the fine-tuned universe theory. There is also the parallel Biocentric theory,

Biocentrism : Our consciousness creates the universe

A bigger theory of these is that the souls imagined and created the Universe. The way this works is like the Holodeck of Star Trek. The Hologram you exist in responds to and creates what your consciousness imagines.

  3. the bible says:’they are without excuse’. in a reference to God because He is in their conscience. the wonders of creation be-speak of God. ‘all will stand before the judgment seat of Jesus’. there is enough historical evidence for Jesus & not just the bible. Jesus divided time. all you atheists & skeptics have no excuse to deny God.

  4. The answer to the question are we meant to be here is moot: We ARE here!

  5. As an undergraduate student of physics I, like everyone else, was dumbfounded when my mind fell upon quantum anomalies that appeared to contradict the most important and fundamental rules on which the rest of physics is founded.
Even the geniuses who created this theory did not understand it.
It is only forty plus years later, a couple of years ago, that I understood why Quantum Physics must be true and why I had failed to understand it.

The ‘Simulation’ model of the universe has it that this universe is a “simulation” (i.e. a virtual reality), a programmed illusion rendered to our minds by a great programmer. In a virtual reality the only real thing is consciousness. I recommend Tom Campbell’s “My Big Toe [theory of everything] for a fairly gentle and comprehensible look into the only scientific description of reality that (to me) makes sense.

Relating to this, it is interesting to quote Swedenborg, writing in the mid-1700s:

“Space and time are not as we imagine them. God occupies all space non-spatially and all time non-temporally” … from ‘Other Planets’

Replace the word “God” by “The Program” and what better description can you imagine for a computer game?

The above sentence makes no sense (like quantum physics) until you relate the words to a virtual reality where space and time don’t exist, only the illusion of space and time exists, generated by a computer program.

Clever fellow, Swedenborg and he discovered his wild ideas after he removed himself from public life as a government minister, scientist etc and focused his intention on having out-of-body experiences during which, he tells us, he visited the Heavens, the Hells and other planets in our virtual universe and talked at length with the entities occupying all corners of these places. he claimed Jesus commissioned him to do so, I think.

Maybe everything we need to know has been revealed, it is just that those with a dog in the race have succeed in keeping the important information from us.

  6. Speculative Mumbo Jumbo…..

These God related articles on Thetruthseeker always bring ’em out of the woodwork.Kevo Boyle for example is obviously weird judging from his weird videos. The Truthseeker INSISTS on running nonsense by the ultra weird Les Visible….that’s the problem,he is not Less Visible…he should be placed in a room with rubber walls….

  7. Thank you ever so much, dearest Lasha, for you and for your writings. His sheep hear His Voice and are eager to taste and see that the Lord is good. Don’t fret yourself about the naysayers. Keep researching, revealing and rejoicing in the abundance of Love, Light and Liberty that rain down upon those who, in humility and praise, give honour and glory to the Meaning of Us All!

  8. “Maybe everything we need to know has been revealed, it is just that those with a dog in the race have succeeded in keeping the important information from us.”

Yep. That’s what it looks like.

Free energy exists in “virtually” unlimited amounts; space and time exist in “virtually” unlimited amounts. I like to say there’s as much space and as much time as you need: it depends on what you’re trying to do. One thing you notice on Planet Earth is that there’s a lot of work to do but, the ones in charge of the work through their control of money and resources, are doing everything possible to channel the fruit of our labor into the most ridiculously destructive, insane, suicidal and colossally wasteful endeavors.

The controllers are obsessed not only with power and control but with survival at all costs. Their system of slavery is based on the idea of scarcity of resources to sustain life on this planet. We are like the dinosaurs with our primitive energy producing infrastructure, dinosaurs with our primitive vehicles, dinosaurs in so many ways…

Just with known Science and Technology, the world could change for the better within a short period. That would require essentially the free flow of information throughout The People’s Republic of The Internet and elsewhere without censorship.

Things would self organize in the direction of improvement on all fronts if it wasn’t for the incessant interference from TATA (The Assholes That Are).

From the financial terrorists in the Citi of London to the Spiritual Impostors in The Vatican, from the Warmongering mercenaries in BrainWashington to the masters of discourse in the twisted brains of Big Tech, the criminalization of truth, sanity, intelligence, morality and
decency via the criminal police state is spreading like a California Wildfire in Paradise Lost.

Sadistic Fibrosis has been unleashed, suppressing the immune system, shuting down
sane and reasoned discussion, shrinking the heart and brain, condemning natural reactions to injustice, criminality and utter idiocy, but allowing the Carlyle Group and the Military Industrial Compost to make a killing on Wall Street in more ways than one..

Their twisted upside down fake reality for virtual zombies is a hell for those who are told to believe that there’s a God of love out there who only wants what’s best for them as they are reminded of Hellstorm and Brimstone that befell Dresden, East Germany, in 1944.

We’re told that there are trillions of stars, trillions of constellations, trillions of galaxies,
trillions of clusters of galaxies with gazillions of planets… If that’s true why are we all behaving as if there are limited material resources for billions of people?

How come a few rich banking families end up with hundreds of trillions of dollars which allows them to own the whole of Planet Earth with its inhabitants?

And how come God only gave certain jews a large piece of real estate while everybody
else has to get a bank loan just for a modest Babylon Bungalow in a packed city?

    YahWho is a dangerous egregore created over time by a pack of inveterate criminals who use lies, deception and chutzpah to fleece the deliberately misinformed deplorables and untouchables. {{{smiles}}}

  9. As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be.

What say you Kevin if that Great Programmer you posit is also conscious, would he not then be the Great Consciousness. Then being such, would he not also be the Great Knower? And if so being the Great Programmer, Consciousness, and Knower would he not also be the Great Propagator and Sustainer, of everything?

If as the Great Consciousness he is totally aware of us, then because of the limitations of our puny minds we in turn can know very little of him in comparison. Nevertheless, we can know as much has our little minds can hold. If so, then perhaps instead of treating him as remote and non-existent, and being caught up so totally with our own independent programming and designs, we ought to pay greater heed to his, and know more about him and his designs, and not only of his universe but of ourselves and what he intended for us. For he did give us such freedom to chose either to know him or not to know him.

What if at the end of our lives, all that we have done, all that we have learned, and all that we have loved, is all that we are, and very little of it has been “of” the Great Consciousness, or “for” the Great Consciousness, or even “compatible” with the Great Consciousness? Will he say, “Come into my consciousness, my realm, my faithful and trusting servant, and be with me for eternity.”? Or, will he say, “I do not know you.”?

If we are to live according to our own self interests, our own wills, our own independent programmings, to be our own makers, where the Great Consciousness leaves us to our own designs, such that our lives are sometimes in conflict with his designs, or our beings remain incompatible with who he is, and we are displeasing to him, then will he not simply turn away? And if so, will he then no longer even sustain us? Or will our self-programmed little beings simply continue in some endless loop of our own impoverished designs devoid of his consciousness and presence? If in fact he is also the Great Programmer, ought we not type into our little screens the question, “What Lord do you want of me?”

  10. In Dantes inferno we read of 7 levels of existence and 7 levels of soul
I can in the sleep state visit these places and have spoken to souls in the lowest levels of hell and even spoken to Winston Churchill. These places are real.
But you cannot tell the Jesus Deniers, those dirty jews. my god how they will suffer

  11. The Great Spirit that rules over all(God), has no religion.

Religion is irrational man’s way off attempting to escape from his fantasy world.

The most dominant religion on earth is called ‘Science’ (ex; Physics).

Man is born without blemish, however, he is coerced to fall from grace.

Fallen man has an irrational mindset, he is deluded, blind to reality.

Spiritual(rational) man is in heaven, natural man has fabricate his own hell.

The state of a man’s mind is an absolute, rational or irrational.

There is no consciousness evolution, only individual transformation(conversion).

Born again man is rational, an angel rejected by fallen(irrational) man.

There is only one mediator(Christ), between The Great Spirit and fallen man.

The only way to salvation, is by means of faith, fallen man is without faith.

The time has come for everything that is hidden, to be revealed(judgement).

All those who reject the Son of man(Christ), will suffer the second death.

The second death is the removal of the defenses that protects fallen man.

The end of the fantasy ‘world’ of irrational man, is the transition to the real world.

True Christianity is not a religion, it is a way of life.

All religions will soon be eradicated from the planet earth.

  12. WOW!! Nice comments on this thread, the collective intelligence here is huge!

Yukon, I guess you will like Tom Van Flandern book ‘Dark Matter, Missing Planets and New Comets,’ totally scientific. He has evidence that a planet on the Solar System exploded and formed what is called “asteroid belt.” How did that happen? Good question.

I don’t need to tell you that he doesn’t believe the speed of light dogma, only brainwashed fools believe that Einstein crap nowadays.

  13. First of all what happened to Stormin’ Norman? Great long comments which is good because that means people actually give a shit about this topic. I turned my comments above into an essay to preserve this information. I will link to these comments. So I ask the rhetorical question that if we are in a simulation could we figure it out?

Could a Sim Figure Out that it is a Sim?

The reason I am interesting in the simulation hypothesis it challenges the God idea that so many people fervently support. We are told to worship our creator assuming that being in creation is some good thing and god is a good being. Maybe the worst thing about life is being alive in a universe full of torture, pain, regret, and suffering.

If all life is suffering then what does that say about the creator? Is suffering how the matrix farms our energy, was our universe set up by another universe as a battery cell?

If you look around ya there is a serious lack of evidence that human society is good and that is a direct reflection of the creator – which takes the position that it won’t interfere with our free will – but is interfering in human affairs by promoting human worship of it.

Are we being tortured in a hell verse? Is earth hell? These are valid questions that people in the west avoid because they are not living in a war zone or Wuhan.

  14. I have no way of proving it but I think life is a quantum phenomenon and that all matter is self aware

  15. He creates in the matrix of his own making. He seeds and cultivates. He prunes off the shoots that hamper what he is growing, and he is always fertilizing and weeding. What he desires are beings to share his glories, which are from the seeds he has planted. But unless they are given the freedom to chose him over their own interests, to love him freely and not though force, then what he has planted will bear no real fruit, and can be given no stature in the consciousness of his kingdom and his glory.

Those who fail to seek him, who do not freely turn their hearts towards him, seeking his love and nourishment, they are left to their own devices and restlessness, and they never become pleasing and lasting to him. However, when they do turn to him, he is not an easy or slack taskmaster, but they are never too hard and are given so that they grown and flourish into to beings worthy and capable of living in his love and glory when they go into it.

Or when on earth in entering the life of one of his creatures, he is like a shepherd caring for his sheep, who are those who have turned to him and have freely chosen him to follow. Most who continue in his path will find the sheep gate to the glories of his heavenly realm, but many will be led astray and turn away to their own devices, where they will become food for the wolves of the world who hate the shepherd and he who sent him.

  16. Hell on earth ?

Why is Satan called the prince of the power of the air ?

1 John 5:19 (NIV) We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Therefore, Satan is called the Ruler of the air.

Satan was a mighty angel (Ezekiel 28:12-14), who was cast out from Heaven because of his pride and rebellion (Isaiah 14:12-15).

How is Satan god of this world ?

Answer: The phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age”) indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions.

Satan is also called the “prince of the power of the air” in Ephesians 2:2. He is the “ruler of this world” in John 12:31. These titles and many more signify Satan’s capabilities. To say, for example, that Satan is the “prince of the power of the air” is to signify that in some way he rules over the world and the people in it.

This is not to say that he rules the world completely; God is still sovereign. But it does mean that God, in His infinite wisdom, has allowed Satan to operate in this world within the boundaries God has set for him. When the Bible says Satan has power over the world, we must remember that God has given him domain over unbelievers only. Believers are no longer under the rule of Satan (Colossians 1:13). Unbelievers, on the other hand, are caught “in the snare of the devil” (2 Timothy 2:26), lie in the “power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19), and are in bondage to Satan (Ephesians 2:2).

  17. To say that mind “emerged” from matter explains nothing. If the universe were merely a mechanism and mind were unapart from matter, we would never have two differing interpretations of any observed phenomenon. The concepts of truth, beauty, and goodness are not inherent in either physics or chemistry. A machine cannot know, much less know truth, hunger for righteousness, and cherish goodness.

If men were only machines, they would react more or less uniformly to a material universe. Individuality, much less personality, would be nonexistent.

The inconsistency of the modern mechanist is: If this were merely a material universe and man only a machine, such a man would be wholly unable to recognize himself as such a machine, and likewise would such a machine-man be wholly unconscious of the fact of the existence of such a material universe. The materialistic dismay and despair of a mechanistic science has failed to recognize the fact of the spirit-indwelt mind of the scientist whose very supermaterial insight formulates these mistaken and self-contradictory concepts of a materialistic universe.

The very pessimism of the most pessimistic materialist is, in and of itself, sufficient proof that the universe of the pessimist is not wholly material. Both optimism and pessimism are concept reactions in a mind conscious of values as well as of facts. If the universe were truly what the materialist regards it to be, man as a human machine would then be devoid of all conscious recognition of that very fact. Without the consciousness of the concept of values within the spirit-born mind, the fact of universe materialism and the mechanistic phenomena of universe operation would be wholly unrecognized by man. One machine cannot be conscious of the nature or value of another machine.

If man is only a machine, by what technique does this man come to believe or claim to know that he is only a machine? The experience of self-conscious evaluation of one’s self is never an attribute of a mere machine. A self-conscious and avowed mechanist is the best possible answer to mechanism. If materialism were a fact, there could be no self-conscious mechanist. It is also true that one must first be a moral person before one can perform immoral acts. urantia book pg 2079

  18. Irrational man is the antichrist, the devil himself.

  19. @ Fred B you are a very good writer and you seem sincere – this I find very disturbing:

“He creates in the matrix of his own making. He seeds and cultivates. He prunes off the shoots that hamper what he is growing, and he is always fertilizing and weeding. What he desires are beings to share his glories, which are from the seeds he has planted. But unless they are given the freedom to chose him over their own interests, to love him freely and not though force, then what he has planted will bear no real fruit, and can be given no stature in the consciousness of his kingdom and his glory.”

If this is your god Fred, it is a monster – he gives us free will but if we don’t seek him and do his will then we are nothing. If we say god is the architect of the matrix, and if this is a simulated reality then we are stuck in a hellverse created and maintained by a monster.

I don’t think you should worship this monster. I don’t think it exists but I do think it is an accurate portrayal of the monster found in the pages of the Holy Bible. This idea that god gives us free will but we better choose him is one of the most evil ideas ever invented by the evil Rabbinic mind.

What I think may be happening on earth is that religion is being inspired by heavenly warlords that want us to build empire on earth – for them – thus the verse in the holy text that we must seek and worship god and do it’s bidding. Proof of this is the Lord’s Prayer, decoded it means

Our Father who art in heaven, (heaven is space empire in the heavens)
hallowed be thy name. (whoreship the space alien lizards as god)
Thy kingdom come. (heavenly empire coming to earth)
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven (build empire on earth as in heaven the new world order)

I believe, based on the evidence, the evil Jews have been selected by the evil lords in heaven to build empire on earth in the image of heaven – that is tyranny. This is the reason the Jews have been given power over us, they are doing the bidding of the space war lords.

How can it be that quantum entangled particles separated across the universe still are in instant communication? Impossible to the rational mind trained in classical physics.

Check the initial assumption of the argument – that space-time is real. The best way of understanding this is the video game analogy.

On your computer screen are two space ships a billion light years apart – but the distance between them is an illusion – they are both on your 15.6″ screen.

I’ve read that UFO’s can go faster than light speed. How can they do this? The ship generates a field that collapses space time in the direction of travel and the ship jumps instantaneously from A to B, by making many jumps collapsing the space time field ahead of the ship thus it can exceed the speed of light to an outside observer. The ship is actually going nowhere in it’s frame of reference.

  21. Irrational man has no free will, he is a fallen angel, divorced from reality.
He is a deluded human being, he is irrational by default.
He cannot know that he is irrational, without faith there is no hope for him.

  22. Jack, if He (meaning God) does not exist but you believe he does and you turn to Him with your heart (center) and your mind, look up to Him, and in doing such somehow your entire life is lifted up and you find peace, but if in fact He does not exist, then what harm is there in that? What harm is there in the case where such a person’s life is likely improved. For those who go through such motions, who can’t really believe, the only loss would be turning away from some temporal pursuits and even vices. So I do not see much harm even if a person’s religion is not grounded in a sincere faith.

On the other hand, it is in those very positive results from such an exercise of faith which is the only proof the believer really needs. It is said that the proof of the pudding is in the eating of it, and in much the same way the proof that God is there is simply the opening up of ourselves in the right direction in some kind of spiritual consumption, commitment or agreement. It does involve at some point in your life a free choice, whether you were raised in a religion or not. The free choice may be in going from some superficial belief to something more genuine, or even turning away from the religion entirely. However, to choose God, it is often described as a leap of faith. Those who are able to abandon their clutching onto the terra firma of there various temporal attachments and mental limitations and actually dive from the dock into the water just trusting in that belief of a God Almighty who is both forgiving and loving, for the most part as far as I have heard they generally come out of the water intact, a lot cleaner, changed for the better.

As for free will, you think that is cruel? That it is okay to use it to do what you want, like living a self-absorbed life seeking wealth, esteem, honors, or pleasures, but when it comes to ultimate or eternal things, whereby if we reject God, that is cruel or unfair? Is that what you are saying?

As the story goes, it was the Hebrews who were led around the Sinai desert for 40 years by Moses after getting out of Egypt (sin), but that first generation never saw the promised land. For one thing, that generation was not strong enough to conquer any foreign land after coming out of what was called the “flesh pots of Egypt”. Secondly, they were always doubting. Then they started to murmur and to complain, and they even made golden idol crafted after one of their old Egyptian gods (much like the Masons of today). And so God said they were not a generation after His own heart, despite them seeing all his works. He left them to their own devices, and that generation never saw the promised land. They also were never taken into God’s “rest”, which the inner peace and trust of his presence.

Whether the story is completely factual or not does not matter. It is mainly a inspired spiritual interpretation of certain events, and it has many lessons regarding the nature of God and our relation to him. When we do abandon our old ways and habits it is generally not an easy road. Many of our old haunts keep calling us back. There are arid times of thirsting for the wrong things, and times when we even feel alone. It is clear that God does not want our old corrupted selves in His realm and so the transformation may not be instantaneous in all respects. It is whatever is born anew in us which has to grown and toughen up like a new generation to enter the promised land.

The point is that God is a hard task master. If he were not then his love and being a part of his realm would not really be worth very much, or very real. Sinai was a kind of prison sentence without any retribution, but with a lot of rehab. It is the divine virtues He wants us to grown in, and first one is faith which includes trust.

  23. Wow! What minds are at work (or play) here! I would like to say much, if I were able, to continue and add to the conversation … instead I will offer “my” condensation of ‘It All” that hopefully a seed will be planted or a mind opened and thus maybe, hopefully, our world can come closer to what it can (at least could) be:

    [ (+=-) > (+/-) ] = [ (+=-) = (-=+) ] = [ (+=-) ] = [ALL = NOthing] = (=) !!! ~ BET (Basic Equation of Truth)! ~ AKA: the TOE (Theory of Everything) ~ the GUT (Grand Unifying Theory) ~ Holy Grail ~ GOD ~ Multi-Verse of UNI-Verses! (should one not accept the totality of simply THE UNIVERSE).

This (+=-) is the most ABSOLUTE SIMPLIFICATION POSSIBLE of ALL, and/or, NOthing. Unless of course YOU desire to THINK otherwise … to each their own, KARMA prevails.
    IMnsHO and E so far.

    Please consider, jck

  24. PS … the Totality of All of That condenses down to the LOVE of GOD (not God nor gods) and That IS THE TRUTH that will SET YOU FREE … 🙂
