This period cartoon illustrates the crowned heads of Europe – the ostensible rulers of the day – bowing before Lionel Rothschild on his throne of mortgages, loans and cash. In fact, this was the reality of the day, the effective fruition of the age-old Jewish dream of a New World Order – a Jewish Utopia – in which all other peoples of the planet would bow down and worship the Jewish people, the new rulers of the Earth. The ideology behind the New World Order may be Jewish Messianism, the view that God has chosen “the King of the Jews” to rule over the nations. This Messiah, or anti-Christ, will be selected from the ranks of the Rothschild family.

This argument is espoused in a rare, suppressed book entitled “Elijah, Rothschilds and the Ark of the Covenant” by Tom Crotser & Jeremiah Patrick (Restoration Press, 1984.)

The book details the Rothschilds quest for and discovery of the Ark of the Covenant, a gold-covered box built by Moses after the Exodus to hold  Aaron’s Rod and the original Ten Commandment tablets. Apparently the Rothschilds intend to place this in Salomon’s Temple in Jerusalem to legitimize their claim to be “the Messiah.”

This bizarre vision rooted in Biblical prophesy is driving economic and political events today. The Zionist vision is much larger than a Jewish homeland. 

“The Messianic hope promises the establishment by the Jews of world power in Palestine to which all the nations of the earth will pay homage,” say the authors. (page 29) 

“This glorious age can only be affected by a man, a scion of the House of David” who will lead the Jews to “righteousness” and “regenerate” the human race.

According to the Talmud, this Messiah from the seed of David shall bring all the heathen nations under subjugation and Israel will become the world power.

Summarizing the Talmud, Rabbi Michael Higger wrote that:  “All the treasures and natural resources of the world will eventually come in possession of the righteous.” This, he said, would be in keeping, with thy prophecy of Isaiah: “In her gain and her hire shall be holiness to the Lord; it shall be not treasured nor laid out, for her gain shall be for them that dwell before the Lord, to eat their fill and for stately clothing.” (The Jewish Utopia, 1932)

Whatever you call him though his appearance has long been prophecied. Later in this article I will explain why these predictions may soon be fulfilled but first a little esoteric background.

At the beginning of the last century, Steiner taught that Ahriman would appear in North America around now.

It is crucial however not to mistake Ahriman for Lucifer. Despite efforts to confuse the two by their agents in this world, these are two different entities with distinct modes of operation.

Moreover, Ahriman’s emergence should not be seen in isolation. His incarnation in human form is one of a series that are crucial to humanity’s spiritual evolution.

According to Steiner Lucifer appeared first, in central China nearly 4,000 years ago. While 2,000 years later Christ was born in a pivitol incarnation in the Middle East

Now, another 2,000 years have passed and moving further West, Ahriman has incarnated in North America. Both Ahriman and Lucifer exemplfy attributes that exist in all of us but without the redeeming qualities embodied by Christ they can destroy our spiritual potential.

This is why it is important to learn to discern between Ahriman and Lucifer: not least because one should “know thy enemy”. So that by utilising the qualities exemplified by Christ we can neutralise their negativity.

It’s also no coincidence that Christ appeared between the two both geographically and historically. Symbolically at least, he balances the two.

As words dervide from his name imply, Lucifer is the bearer of false spiritual illumination. He deceives with illusion, luring man from real spirituality with delusions and his influence can be seen in much of today’s “new age” movement.

Ahriman on the other hand wants to trap man entirely in the physical realm. So while Lucifer strives to lure men from genuine spirituality with counterfeit replicas, Ahriman wants to imprison man in the physical world.

As will become apparent, in his current incarnation Ahriman is ideally placed to do just that.

As the term suggests, “scientific materialism” confines itself to things that can be calculated in terms of substance. So if it can’t be measured or weighed or quantified in some way then it doesn’t exist, physically, and for some in the scientific community that’s literally all that matters.

However, esoteric Christians, Muslims and ancient Zoroastrians weren’t the only ones to speak of Ahriman’s coming. Some of his human underlings, his dark prophets as it were, have also prepared for his incarnation.

One such was the infamous Albert Pike who as far back as 1871 wrote of his coming.

Albert Pike’s letter to Giusseppe Mazzini is one of the most momentous missives ever written. Although Freemasons have tried to label the letter a fraud, alleging it to be the creation of one Leo Taxil, it is nonetheless grimly prophetic.

Taxil died in 1907 – years before any of the events outlined in the letter took place. So whoever wrote the letter still accurately predicted most of the major events of the 20th century.

Moreover, it makes some predictions that have yet to be fulfilled, although their potential is becoming ominously apparent.

Regular visitors to this website are probably familiar with the letter but I will briefly outline some of its contents. The world will be racked by three world wars, the writer imparts, the first of which will see the overthrow of Russia’s ruling dynasty with the country being transformed into a “fortress of atheistic Communism”.

The Second World War would end with the establishment of “a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine.” While the third world war will start with a clash between Zionism and the Muslim world that will ultimately lead to a global conflict.

However, the ensuing slaughter would merely be a prelude to the sovereign enthronement in this world of a diabolical entity. Although whoever wrote the letter to Giusseppe Mazzini refers to this entity as “Lucifer” this is probably a ruse. We take it to be Ahriman/Satan.

All of which serves as an introduction because this writer and a trusted psychic friend think we’ve spotted him. The long awaited “anti-Christ” or Satan/Ahriman incarnate has been identified.

I’m not going to name him but will offer some pointers and leave it to readers to see if they can identify him.

He started out in the field of science and high technology and while still relatively young moved into the realm of high finance and banking. A seemingly abrupt transition but he nonetheless remained in his element because scientific materialism, high technology, high finance and banking are all spheres where Ahriman’s influence prevails.

He was also briefly in the public arena fairly recently – the object being to establish him as a figure of authority, if only subliminally – before he returned to the relative anonymity of commercial banking and finance.

Nonetheless, this writer believes that he will return to the public arena by the end of 2012. The cue for his return being a clash between Iran and the West – exactly what the letter to Mazinni referred to with its mention of a war between Zionism and the Muslim world – which can be seen ominously taking shape in the mounting tension between Israel and Iran.

Once ignited it will rapidly escalate into a global conflagration. Whereupon Ahriman incarnate will be recalled to the public arena, possibly to oversee and coordinate the Western war effort. From there he will come into his own with all his servitors in banking, high finance, the corporate media and government in attendance.

I’m going to conclude with extracts from a lecture given by Rudolf Steiner in Zurich on October 27, 1919:

“Ahriman skilfully prepares his goals beforehand; ever since the Reformation and the Renaissance, the economist has been emerging in modern civilisation as the representative governing type…. Rulers are in fact merely the henchmen and enforcers of the economists. One must not imagine that the rulers of modern times are anything but the economists’ agents. And all that is enshrined as law and justice is, if one scrutinizes it carefully, simply a consequence of a thinking dictated by economists….

“….because this dominion of the mere ‘token for material goods’ (i.e. money) has arisen, Ahriman has been given another essential means of deceiving mankind. If people do not realize that the legislative state that safeguards human rights and organism of spirit must balance and redress the economic order established by economists and bankers, then again, through this lack of awareness, Ahriman will find an important instrument for preparing his incarnation. His incarnation is undoubtedly coming, and this lack of insight will smooth the way for his triumphant advance.”

Note that the Bank of England – the mother of all central banks and the template for the U.S. Federal Reserve – was established in 1694 in the wake of the Reformation and Renaissance. Ever since then the power of moneylenders like the Rothschilds has grown, to the point where they now effectively control governments and politicians, just as Steiner pointed out nearly a century ago.

For the Illuminati have a history of creating problems, or allowing them to develop to the stage where people demand, “something must be done”! At which point the Illuminati then step forward with an answer. A solution that formerly might have been unacceptable had it not been needed for a problem requiring remedy so urgently.

It’s the old Problem-reaction-solution ruse that has been used throughout history.

It was used as far back as ancient Rome, when Crassus used a slave’s revolt to do away with the old republic and its attendant freedoms.

Through the threat of rebellious slaves marching on Rome, Crassus persuaded the Romans into trading their old republic for imperial rule and that’s where a good idea went wrong.

For although Crassus never became emperor, in time some emperors became tyrants, as opposed to individuals who were temporarily appointed with dictatorial powers to deal with a crisis: as was originally intended.

Nonetheless nearly two thousand years later, President Roosevelt played a similar trick when he lured the Japanese into attacking the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbour. As Michael Rivero and James Perloff have pointed out, U.S. naval intelligence was fully aware that the Japanese navy were steaming toward Pearl Harbour but failed to inform the U.S. fleet anchored there.

On November 29th the then U.S. Secretary of State Hull even showed a United Press reporter an intercepted message with the time and place of the attack – that’s more than a week before the Japanese actually struck on Sunday December 7, 1941!

Once the Japanese attacked however, President Roosevelt had the pretext he needed to enter WWII with the Allies.

Still this old trick needn’t be confined to military matters. It can be used in the realm of economics, high finance and politics too. The essential ingredients are public gullibility and complacency enhanced nowadays by a compliant and obliging media.

Armed with such elements anything is possible.

All of which brings us to the current global market meltdown.

Some have expressed doubts about the current economic crisis and a few readers have even voiced suspicions that the credit crunch has been staged but to whose benefit?

That is the question to ask whenever one is confronted by what maybe a conspiracy. Who will benefit and exactly how and in what way will they profit?

After all the payback may not necessarily be financial, although whoever fixes the problem will be hailed as a saviour delivering the world from an economic catastrophe.

Regardless of one’s faith however, its appropriate here to recall what various religions taught would feature around now.

Christians speak of the “End Times” and the appearance of false prophets and the anti-Christ. While Islam teaches that a similar figure will appear: the “ad-Dajjâl” or deceiver was predicted to lure men into his thrall with a combination of guile and diabolical cunning.

While Christian esoteric researcher and teacher Rudolph Steiner taught that a figure known to the ancient Zoroastrians as the epitome of evil would incarnate toward the end of the 20th century.

Referred to as Ahriman, Steiner taught that he would likely appear in North America and that others would incarnate before him to assist his passage to prominence.

Spiritually developed men undermine Ahriman’s power and thus he seeks to entrap mankind in a purely physical realm. Impeding man’s spiritual evolution with greed as embodied in the “consumer society”, or more subtle intellectual enticements as may be found in the confines of scientific materialism.

While the ancient Zoroastrians knew him as Ahriman, Steiner said he would probably be more readily recognised today as Satan. They are in fact one and the same and it should be noted, quite distinct from Lucifer, an entirely different entity.

Like Muslim scholars, Steiner taught that Ahriman/ad-Dajjâl/the anti-Christ would incarnate as a man and appear all too human. His incarnation would be in counterpoint to Christ’s and while some lessons are harder than others, he would deliver a very hard lesson to humanity.

Speaking in terms that modern men might better grasp, Rudolph Steiner (1862-1925) taught that although apparently human, Ahriman/ad-Dajjâl/the anti-Christ would display a cold penetrating logic and likely excel at economics or science.

We may even conclude that in the modern world he might be found somewhere in computers or banking or even space exploration. Either way he will stand out in his field.

Which is where the current economic crisis presents the perfect opportunity for him to step onto the world stage and be greeted, initially at least, as a saviour.

One might even say that the current economic crisis was a set-up; staged like a theatre piece for this character to appear as a redeemer, rescuing the world from impending market meltdown.

From this elevated point and buoyed by public acclaim after contending with the global economic crisis, he would only be few steps away from taking command in a looming confrontation with Iran.

From which point all hell will break loose and this apparent “saviour” will be seen in his true element. Taking command in a global conflagration in which hundreds of millions, maybe even billions of lives will be consumed.

Those potential billions would be little more than innocent victims in his quest for dominion: sacrificial offerings in a real holocaust that would consume Jews, Christians and Muslims alike.

Stay tuned because this scenario may be about to unfold before our very eyes. In fact there is every indication that events will begin moving within the foreseeable future.

The Anti-Christ has been anticipated for well over a thousand years; and now it appears the Illuminati are rapidly escalating events heralding his imminent arrival, in the guise of “The Maitreya.”

Both Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and Alice A. Bailey, leaders of the Theosophical Society, predicted The Maitreya’s arrival in our century. The Maitreya was to be the name of the great World Teacher when he incarnates on our planet.

Bailey went on to found the highly influential Lucis Trust in 1922, (originally named the Lucifer Trust before bowing to the gods of camouflage and which now includes such luminaries as David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Paul Volcker and George Schultz). Thru her contact with the hidden master Djwahl Khul, Bailey claimed that The Maitreya would once again incarnate in the 20th Century.

Nearer to our own time line, a man named Benjamin Creme (born 1922) a student of both Blavatsky’s and Bailey’s teachings, announced in 1959 that the new World Teacher would lead the world into a new Golden Age of knowledge and peace.

Creme founded yet another trust, “Share International Foundation,” to prepare the way. Creme has now stated that The Maitreya is now living in London. According to Creme, he has entered into this world via a “self created body” in 1977 which, it would seem, was done to put him one over on Jesus Christ, who had to rely upon at least one earthly parent for physical manifestation.

Further, claims Creme, The Maitreya’s first public appearance will be heralded by geologic, social and economic upheavals, including a worldwide stock market crash. The Maitreyea will then publicly appear on a “Day of Declaration” where he will be able to psychically communicate to every human being on the planet at the same time, announcing that he has arrived to liberate mankind from the tyranny of capitalism, greed and corruption.

The Maitreya, according to Benjamin Creme, who heralds from a famous Masonic Jewish (Communist) family, has a low opinion of the United States and Capitalism in general. He considers our economic system the embodiment of greed and theft, in contrast to the selfless cooperation, peace and harmony which a loving socialist style society would impose upon world citizens.

Of course, The Maitreya’s appearance will signal the need for One World Global Government. At the same time, the wealth of the world will be extracted by those select families who own and run The Federal Reserve and other central banking institutions, creating a layer of equal poverty, hunger and desperation around our planet.

In fact, The Maitreya is the messenger of The Illuminati Incarnate. This new World Teacher, who is said to regard Jesus Christ as his messenger (!), is nothing more than Old Scratch, His Satanic Majesty, The Devil made Flesh, the Anti-Christ on Earth.

There is yet another ambassador, of sorts, for The Maitreya. In December of 1973, “Rael” a French journalist, (real name Claude Vorilhon) claimed to have met a being from space, who stated his purpose was to establish an embassy on Earth for the harmonious cooperation of all humans who were now ready to explore cosmic consciousness. Eagerly accepting both the message and the aliens’ conferral of leadership, Vorilhon established Raelism – a religion based on UFOs and a species of space aliens who claim they created humans in their own likeness.

This space ambassador, according to Rael, could walk down any street in Japan and blend right into the crowd. Humanity was designed by them and in their image. Our planet had finally evolved sufficiently, thanks to such “messengers” as Jesus Christ, who had prepared humanity to accept the next phase in human evolution, the phase marked by the appearance of The Maitreya.

As part of their discipline, Raelians speak against the use of drugs, tobacco, and coffee, and limit alcohol to moderate levels. They are however, very much into the refinement of erotic pleasure and hold liberal views on the expression of sexuality. They deny the existence of a human soul and a supernatural god; instead, they strive to seek the transmission and implantation of one’s mind and experience into a new, disease free body.

In 1991, The Raelians attempted to establish a space port in Israel for the reception of ambassadors from off planet. Their request was denied, perhaps because the Raelian symbol is a six pointed Star of David with a Swastika in the middle of it. Others claim the Realian cult is both fascistic and racist, as they have stated that only those who are at least 10% above average intelligence have any right to vote as part of the electorate.

Besides stating that humanity was designed and created by extraterrestrials, Raelians believe in human cloning, “Geniocracy” (the governing of ‘The People’ by an elite of geniuses) and of course, the coming of The Maitreya, the great “World Leader” and “World Teacher.” Perhaps not to be outdone, Rael has also declared himself to be “The Maitreya of the West.”

As we approach the year of 2012, which Hollywood and others have warned us about in Mayan prophecy as the potential “end of the world,” there seems to be no dearth of candidates one might label as the new anti-Christ. Whether one chooses Benjamin Creme or Claude Vorilhon as direct incarnations of The Maitreya, or one prefers the more traditional devil in the form of the self-incarnated Maitreya who allegedly appeared in Kenya in 1988 before deciding that London was a more fitting abode for a demon of his stature, it cannot be denied that Creme and “Rael” are in the same line presaging the arrival of the new cosmic teacher first mentioned by Blavatsky and Bailey over a century ago.

Moreover, this new “Maitreyea” has allegedly appeared to thousands of influential world leaders, including Mikhail Gorbachev. During such appearances, he reputedly performs “miracles” to convince the skeptical that he is, indeed, the new World Teacher.

Yet even a cursory reading of certain biblical passages would convince us that The Maitreya, should he actually exist, could just as easily be the anti-Christ predicted in The Bible, and that his wondrous deeds are another illusion to mislead the gullible down the path to Satan and the establishment of a New World Order and One World Government which — according to both Creme and “Rael” — is just what humanity needs at this time of environmental trials and economic tribulations.

One thing is certain — the cosmic “timing” of The Maitreya is right on schedule, whether one looks at the current near collapse of all major world economies, the catastrophic oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico, the increasing volcanic and tectonic activity, and the predicted solar flares said to be coming in late 2012 and early 2013 which may disrupt all electronic communication on Earth (bye bye Internet and cell phones).

Couple all these natural phenomenon with Biblical predictions, Mayan prophecies, Hollywood disaster flicks, Project Blue Beam, and verified prophets heralding the arrival of a new “spiritual” Earth Teacher, and one can only conclude that The Illuminati are about to convince the gullible that The Maitreya will be appearing to take our planet under his beneficent World Religion, for the benefit of the The New World Order.

Although it’s still uncertain precisely how it will start there are a number of possibilities. For example we might see an Israeli attack on Iran, which falls short of its aims only to provoke a fierce Iranian counter strike; thereby opening the way for U.S. military intervention.

Or we might see that old speciality: a false flag terror attack or even an assassination of a high level political player. However, we’ve seen so many false flags recently that what worked with 9/11 and 7/7 might be seem too obvious now. So this time round we may see something a little different, like an assassination.

Whatever happens though, in the aftermath expect the finger of blame to be pointed at Iran, thereby paving the way for a full U.S./NATO strike.

Obama’s recent gestures toward Iran are part of this ruse. So far he has produced nothing concrete and nor will he, while his military plan and prepare for a strike on Iran; Obama will continue with fine words and empty gestures, simply acting the role of the “good guy”.

As detailed elsewhere, preparations are well underway for combined military strikes but they won’t remain limited to Iran. Because it’s likely to escalate into something much bigger with Pakistan and Syria coming alongside Iran together with Russia and eventually China too.

Yet whatever happens and however unexpected it may seem, its been long in the making. Indeed some months ago a psychic friend noted that China was making extensive preparations for war. Just as we reported, that western military commanders met secretly in New York State late last year; possibly to hammer out a coordinated military response to whatever unfolds in the coming weeks.

Nonetheless whatever transpires is only the opening act in a much bigger drama that has long been prepared for.

One might even call it a cosmic drama. Because waiting in the wings, ready to step-up and take command, as all hell breaks loose, is a figure long foretold by ancient prophets.

Christian esoteric researcher Rudolf Steiner and the ancient Zoroastrians knew him as Ahriman. While Muslims refer to him as ‘Al-Masih ad-Dajjal’, the great deceiver. Whatever he is called though he is an incarnation in human form of a powerful entity more commonly known today as Satan.

And here it should be noted that he is quite distinct from Lucifer, an entirely different entity who, according to Steiner, incarnated in ancient China nearly four thousand years ago.

Both are actively opposed to human spiritual evolution as it diminishes their power. Quite simply, Ahriman and Lucifer are empowered by men’s weaknesses and ignorance. So that by developing spiritually mankind effectively enfeebles both.

Which is why they are working against humanity’s spiritual evolution.

Steiner taught that the incarnations of Lucifer and Ahriman, together with Christ’s, are interlinked and part of a series of manifestations that are essential for mankind’s higher evolution.

Lucifer, as words derived from his name suggest, seeks to distract man from his higher destiny with illusion and delusion: as illustrated by Hollywood and much of the “new age”.

While Ahriman wants to deny man’s spiritual ascent by embedding him firmly in the material realm – as embodied in fractional reserve banking and scientific materialism – as if there were no higher spiritual reality.

However to counter balance these two opposing forces man requires the qualities exemplified by Jesus Christ, and what Steiner referred to as the “Christ force”.

So Ahriman’s appearance is the final part of “coming of age” lesson for humanity.

And like they say, the most important lessons are often the most difficult. Just as when you were a kid you had to stand up to bigger kids in the playground who thought he could push you around.

What you learned then was more than just how to use your fists. You learned how to take command of yourself, to see things through and not to be cowed by appearance.

Well, this is no different. We, as individuals, must now summon all our reserves of courage, insight and compassion to face what is to come.

How many will succumb to this entity depends on each individual’s own inner qualities. Unsurprisingly though, with a few notable exceptions including Ahmadinejad, most of our political leaders are already in his thrall.

Make no mistake however. This writer is not just speculating because the figure referred to is already in the public arena, being prepared for higher elevation in the world of politics.

Although I won’t name him just yet, he is located in North America. Precisely where and when spiritual researcher and teacher Rudolf Steiner said he would incarnate.

Moreover, the current financial crisis has been created to catapult him into the public’s awareness as some kind of “saviour”. Although he will be anything but as will soon become apparent.

In fact a gifted psychic friend has reached the same conclusion about him and quite independently too.

All we can say is watch the financial world and wait for an apparent market ‘recovery’, then look out for whoever is credited with performing this economic “miracle”.

As the prospect of war looms watch for whoever is being hailed for rescuing us from “market meltdown”. The market’s recovery will only be temporary but it will be enough to elevate this character into the highest levels of the political firmament.

From here he will be able to guide and direct the coming war.

These are truly momentous times. We are at the beginning of a new age and as the old one passes away expect to see the beginning of the end of “scientific materialism”. For the notion that existence is confined to the physical world and that there is nothing beyond is about to end along with hundreds of millions, maybe even billions of lives.

This realisation will be a difficult one for many. Especially for those who’ve spent their lives working for their material welfare and nothing else.

It will be particularly difficult for those who have elevated pure logic and reason above compassion. For those who regard scientific materialism as their god, to the exclusion of all genuine spirituality, will soon see him in person: presiding over a maelstrom of unprecedented suffering.

It may give them second thoughts but he is coming; along with a firestorm of blood and crap the like of which humanity has never seen.

New information suggests Israel planned launching a surprise air strike on Iran with the intention of taking out the greater part of its air force. According to Press TV, the Israelis aimed to take out large parts of the Iranian Air Force as it assembled for an air display near Tehran.

However, the plan fell through when the air show was cancelled at the last moment. Although the Iranians claimed this was due to “bad weather” there have been suggestions that Russia tipped off Iran after its spy satellites spotted an unusual amount of activity at Israeli air bases as preparations were made for the attack.

The Israeli attack was reportedly scheduled for April 17.

If true, it means our psychic friend was correct but the Israeli’s plan fell through. That being the case however, it doesn’t mean that they won’t try again.

Iran Attack Still in the Balance

Anyone familiar with Rudolph Steiner’s work will know that his writings on esoteric Christianity are heavy intellectual workouts. As I’m not particularly intellectual I owe a lot of my understanding of Steiner’s work to a friend of mine. Recently while talking together we found ourselves in complete agreement on one particular point; a point of such significance that I want to share it with this websites readers.

We were talking about Bush’s determination to go to war with Iraq. What was the real motive for war with Iraq we wondered? Does Bush, or more precisely the cabal for whom Bush is simply a front man, want Iraq for its oil? Or is it, as David Duke suggests in the article linked below, simply a ruse for the Zionists to distract the world’s attention as they implement a “final solution” to their problems in Palestine? Both are quite plausible and I wouldn’t dismiss either. But there is another possible reason, one that is much more sinister and of far greater consequence.

Clearly Bush needs to create “enemies” who have to be destroyed – by doing so he will win public support and boost sales for his friends in the defence and oil industries. Obviously Ariel Sharon also needs to distract western public attention as he embarks on a ‘final solution’ to the problems in Palestine. Both are pushing us toward a potential war and that is exactly how darker forces work: they take pressing wants and desires and then endow them with seemingly paramount importance to be achieved at any cost: sex for a rapist, money for a thief.

Bush, Sharon and Hussein are all obviously morally compromised and something has exploited their ambitions – something of a much darker origin is waiting in the wings to take advantage of situations they have created. Ready to exploit all the pain and suffering they have helped produce and make his debut on the world stage as a great “peace-maker” is evil incarnate itself, the anti-Christ.

Steiner indicated that Ahriman – otherwise known to us as Satan – would incarnate in human form in the latter part of the twentieth century. He would be born into a powerful East Coast establishment family and would excel in the worlds of science and politics. More importantly though he would make his entrance on the world stage as a man of peace, and would be welcomed by the unsuspecting as a negotiator: despite being the anti-Christ incarnate.

Currently there is growing opposition to a war with Iraq; at the moment it’s peacefull but if war does break out, and particularly as the casualties mount, that could change. Setting the stage perfectly for the appearance of a man to resolve the problems with Iraq. You can almost see it as crowds of ordinary people rally round him as he brings peace to a troubled region.

But behind the peace loving public image will be a diabolical force carefully orchestrating events. So while Bush may appear a complete dummy he may be fully aware of the part he’s playing, along with the Zionists and Saddam Hussein, in preparing the way for the debut of the anti-Christ on the world stage.

How soon before he makes his appearance? At the very most a couple of years but the way things are moving it is more likely to be a matter of months. This writer can’t even guess at his name but if there is indeed a war with Iraq watch for the appearance of one who overshadows the resultant peace process.

Finally it should be emphasised that his appearance will only occur after the coming conflict in Iraq. He is definitely not going to stop the pending war but he will capitalise on the slaughter: as he steps forth onto the world stage as a diplomat and “peacemaker.” Whatever happens, the coming weeks and months could prove to be a decisive turning point in human history.

In answer to the question will the Antichrist be a man, I would reply that the coming ‘Antichrist’, Ahriman, the Biblical Satan is in essence a very earthly, masculine power. His supersensible influence over humanity leads to, for example, the pursuit of worldly power, the concentration on earthly affairs, interest in new technology, reliance on a dry rationalism and a rejection of feeling and passion – all stereotypically male traits. Ahriman is fundamentally the being of the Head-human as opposed to the Heart-human. Whether we are male or female we have to find the same balance between reason and feeling, it is just that unchecked male nature tends to the interest in the earthly and the rational, whilst unchecked female nature tends to intuition and the spiritual. From this it can be seen that modern civilization makes all of us, male and female, more ‘male’, and modern civilization is orientated towards preparing the ground for the incarnation of Ahriman. From this it is almost certain that Ahriman himself (as opposed to his human followers who theoretically can be outwardly male or female) will incarnate in a male body. That said, he will be surrounded by helpers, male and female, and who is to say that he won’t take a Queen? The words “all shall worship the beast” also refer to all (or the majority of) human beings – male and female.

From the occult standpoint, the being who is incarnating is one of the two tempters of men.

An important occult law is that just as everything in the physical world has its opposite, so in the spirit is the principle of threefoldness. The angelic hierarchies are arranged in three groups of three (Angels, Archangels, Archai – Exusiai, Dynamis, Kyriotetes – Thrones, Cherubim, Seraphim), and just as there is the triune godhead (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), so is there a trinity of evil. At its apex is the Antichrist in the proper sense of the word – the Sorathic power, the Sun-demon – who desires to destroy man completely, physically and spiritually.

‘Beneath’ Sorath are the two temptors of man, Lucifer – the light-bearer, the Serpent – and Ahriman – the cold, dark Satanic power, the Hound, the Lion. The temptors do not wish (if wish is the right word) to destroy man; they wish for man to follow their lead and to pursue their plans for man.

If the tempters are confronted consciously, then, in contrast to our encounters with the Sorathic power, we may even derive positive things from them, but we must be aware from whence these things originated and, thus, of the danger that they will draw us away from our rightful pursuits.

Lucifer is the proud spirit, who lures man away from the earth and away from mankind’s earthly tasks. Lucifer encourages man to rely on himself and his own resources in the search for truth – which often leads the seeker on this path into subjective forms of mysticism and into a retreat from the outer world and from other human beings. Lucifer encourages man to stride out and act as an individual; without his influence man would never have felt the urge to freedom. Initially this is the ‘rebellion’, the temptation to turn one’s back on the intentions of the spirit world towards man and to stride out as an individual.

Ahriman, on the other hand, wishes to chain man to the earth. He is in one sense the guiding spirit of our civilization. He encourages us to apply our powers of thought to the search for ways to improve our earthly existence – the inventions of modern technology, for example. Through Ahriman’s influence our thoughts, instead of lifting us into the spiritual world, fetter us to earthly concerns.

Ahriman is the spirit of deception and lies, who wishes for man to fall into error and who tempts us to believe that what we experience around us with our earthly senses is the only reality. He is also, in a sense, the lord of money, who encourages the pursuit of temporal riches. Followers of Ahriman pursue the acquisition of earthly powers and are prepared to do anything to acquire and maintain those powers. It is Ahriman who is to incarnate in the near future on earth. Although it must be added that the Luciferic and Sorathic powers will assist the Ahrimanic power to the extent which it furthers their own aims.

It is likely, although not necessarily so, that he will fully incarnate in a suitably prepared human body when that body is around thirty years of age in a process similar to the baptism of Jesus of Nazareth, which allowed the Christ to walk on earth amongst men for three years. His fully conscious human followers, the genuine black magicians,will prepare this human vessel, possibly several potential vessels, in anticipation of his incarnation. If this is the case then the human spirit within the human vessel to be used by Ahriman will withdraw itself as a sacrifice (ie. the person will be a follower of Ahriman, a ‘Satanist’).

Again it must be emphasized, that man does not stand in direct opposition to the two temptors, he stands as the balance between the two extremes. The most important thing is to recognize beings for what they are, and not to be deceived as to their true nature, and to use them and what they offer consciously, rather than allow them to use us as pawns in the pursuit of their inhuman aims. The most appropriate example of this is the Internet itself which although it relies on technology, the creation of which was inspired by ahrimanic concerns regarding warfare, which relies on Ahrimanic technology and which creates a web of artificial intelligence over the globe, is nonetheless a great medium for reaching large numbers of people and helping to guide them away from the ahrimanic temptation.

Ahriman, being the great deceiver, presumably wishes to be hailed as the saviour of mankind, the returning Christ, and the creator of an earthly paradise. All this to fool man in to surrendering his greatest gift – the possibility to grow towards individual spiritual freedom. That is why we should not follow the Luciferic path of fleeing the earth and seeking premature release from this “valley of tears”, as only on earth can we acquire freedom, only in a world where there exists the possibility to knowingly do wrong can we freely do good, and wrong can only exist in a world which is not real, a world which hides the spiritual and which has become detached, in one sense, from the spiritual world and its laws.

However, although the world is, in one sense, detached from the spirit, spiritual impulses and beings still influence events on earth and events of earth have their repercussions in the spiritual world. It is because of this that we should strive to understand some of the non-human beings and forces and not simply give them general labels, such as ‘Antichrist’. If we do not strive to understand and to reveal the hitherto occult aspects of existence, then our explanations of life will be forever inadequate and we are likely to find ourselves living unfulfilling lives. Importantly, we will also risk being at the mercy of corrupt secret societies which hide in the background and which are aware of the occult aspects of existence and which strive to keep them exactly that – occult, hidden from the masses of mankind. If they can keep a monopoly on that knowledge then they can more easily maintain their power as they can use devices to influence the subconscious of man, knowing that the conscious mind will not realise that the individual is being remotely manipulated.

Remember, ultimately there can only be one body of truth as knowledge. It is the same knowledge that is obtained whether one pursues the left-hand path or the right-hand path. On an individual level it only has positive meaning if that knowledge is struggled for and made one’s own. It is the search for truth, the impulse for truth which is important in this context; one grows into a more moral being not through possession of the truth as knowledge, but through the development of a healthy instinct for truth, a desire to obtain and to share the truth with one’s fellow human beings and not to spread falsehood and lies. It is in the interests of corrupt individuals to hide the truth from others as the fact that their knowledge is kept occult allows them to deceive and manipulate others. This is why we are no longer encouraged to seek truth; since the myth that science held all the answers has long been dispelled by chaos theory and such like, it is now scepticism which is promoted – there is no point seeking truth as there is no truth, all is relative, and even if there was such a thing as truth man lacks the faculties to find it. Their most biting tool is mockery, but one must summon the courage to stand up and be counted!

A failure to comprehend clearly enough that there is a multitude of differentiated spiritual beings and not simply a ‘spiritual world’, has been the downfall even of people with good intentions, such as Annie Besant. In the early twentieth century she promoted a boy (Jiddu Krishnamurti) whom she and Charles Leadbeater had ‘discovered’ in India as the returned Christ (who she believed was identical with the Maitreya). It is understood that Annie believed that by creating the right conditions she could induce the Christ spirit to incarnate in this human vessel. It is alleged that she proposed to Rudolf Steiner that if he would proclaim with her that the boy was Christ then she would proclaim him as the reincarnation of John the Baptist (an appeal to spiritual egotism). Steiner’s response to the Krisnamurti affair was to break with the Theosophical movement completely. The chosen vessel himself, had the courage in 1929 to dissolve the Order created to pronounce ‘his coming’ to the world and to declare: “You can form other organisations and expect someone else. With that I am not concerned, nor with creating new cages, new decorations for those cages. My only concern is to set men absolutely, unconditionally free.” Jiddu himself was in touch with the key demand of the age – that man must pursue freedom, that one should recognize the workings of the spirit and pursue the good as a result of a free and conscious decision of the individual.

There are two points that should be noted first, regarding the fact that some people seem to believe that we are facing the imminent end of the world and the return of Christ.

1. We are not approaching the end of the world. The physical earth is ‘dying’, and these forces of destruction in the heart of matter have become manifest in this century through the splitting of the atom. However, the earth has been dying for some time and this is a process which all physical/temporal bodies naturally go through and it will take a long time to complete. The spiritual foundations of the earth, and ourselves as spirits, will of course endure regardless of what happens to the physical realm.

Is it in Ahriman’s interest to destroy what is essentially his kingdom? Equally for those in control of the world’s resources and many of the world’s inhabitants, there is no real incentive to destroy it completely. And although a population reduction may be welcome to these people, in the sense that it will be easier to maintain control, it also gives them more power if they are deceiving billions of people rather than millions (the ideal of the Pyramid structure of power).

2. Steiner went to great lengths to emphasize that Christ will not return in a physical body, that Christ’s Incarnation in Jesus of Nazareth was a one-off event and the focal point of the whole history of the earth. His Life and Death is a unique event in world history and he is has no need to ‘return’ as since Golgotha Christ has been ever present, as He has united Himself with the future of mankind and of the earth – “I am with you always, until the end of time”. From 1933 humans can consciously experience Christ again, this time in the etheric realm (the realm of Life), but this is a soul experience, experienced by the individual human being; a personal revelation of Christ, akin to that of Paul on the road to Damascus.

This is important to bear in mind, as Ahriman’s appearance may well be preceded by a man who acts out mankind’s traditional idea of the antichrist (a Hitler-esque figure hell-bent on war and destruction), so that Ahriman can play out man’s earthbound image of Christ – the bringer of peace on earth, the performer of miracles, the healer, not of the soul, but of the physical body, the prolonger of earthly life. Maybe this is why there are rumours of cancer cures and the like being suppressed, so that Ahriman may be credited with the creation of these balms, which he can administer to his enraptured audience. “What gains a man if he has a healthy body, but has lost his soul?”. It is often through the opposition of the body that we become conscious of the spirit – brain cells are destroyed every day without replacement so that we may maintain our consciousness of our existence on earth. It is the willingness of enlightened individuals, such as Giordano Bruno, to accept death when earthly powers rule against them, which helps dispel the myth that our existence ends with death. To be born in this world we must die to the world of the spirit; when we die in this world we are reborn into our spiritual home.

Ultimately all the deception and lies of our age, along with the drive towards one world government, one world religion, etc., and the hidden and intense conniving of the corrupt secret societies are being carried out to prepare suitable conditions for the incarnation of Ahriman/Satan.
