In 1932, [Rabbi] Michael Higger, Ph.D., [1898-1952] published a book entitled The Jewish Utopia, …[based on] “the sum total of the prophecies, teachings and plans and interpretations of the foremost Jewish rabbis and tribal leaders over a period of some 2,500 years…”

The books talked of “the righteous” and “the non-righteous.” In the end, according to Higger, the “non-righteous” shall perish…

And it is clear, throughout Higger’s writings that the “righteous” shall be the Jews and the servants of the Jews; and the “wicked” will be those who are perceived by the Jews to be standing in opposition to their interests!

The words of Isaiah will be fulfilled: “Behold, My servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry. Behold, My servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty; Behold, My servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed.” …

Higger continues: “All the treasures and natural resources of the world will eventually come in possession of the righteous.” This, he said, would be in keeping, with thy prophecy of Isaiah: “In her gain and her hire shall be holiness to the Lord; it shall be not treasured nor laid out, for her gain shall be for them that dwell before the Lord, to eat their fill and for stately clothing.” …

In short, this is the massive extermination of those who stand up to the Jewish Utopia — the New World Order. It continues:

“All of these unrighteous nations shall be called to judgment before they are punished and doomed. The severe sentence of their doom will be pronounced upon them only after they have been given a fair trial when it will become evident that their existence would hinder the advent of the ideal era.

“Thus, at the coming of the Messiah, when all righteous nations will pay homage to the ideal righteous leader and offer gifts to him, the wicked and corrupt nations, by realizing the approach of their doom, will bring similar presents to the Messiah. Their gifts and pretended acknowledgment of the new era will be blunted rejected, for the really wicked nations, like the really wicked individuals must disappear from the earth before an ideal human society of righteous nations can be established.”

And when one considers the fact that the Jewish concept of the Messiah is often reckoned to be that the Jewish people themselves, what Higger has described takes on even more consequence.

Most people feel that a time of great change is upon us. But what kind of change is unfolding, exactly?

To answer that question, we must examine current trends and attempt to understand where they are headed.

Here’s my look at ten of the most sociologically-charged trends that I believe are leading us into a spiritual crisis (followed by a spiritual awakening, as you’ll see below).

#1) The rise of human engineered genetics

Abandoning the seeds of nature, human scientists continue to play God with plants, animals and even humans. In doing so, they challenge the laws of nature and have already given rise to “superbugs” and “superweeds.”

Superbugs are resistant to all known chemicals and drugs, and superweeds are resistant to all known chemical herbicides. Genetic pollution is rampant. No one knows where this takes us, but many understand that such reckless science puts the future of life at risk across our entire planet.

#2) Reality escapism via gaming, social networks and computer-human interface devices such as Google Glass, VR helmets

Turning to techno-immersion devices, more and more people are escaping reality and “living” in virtual worlds, or living in “augmented” versions of the real world. Though such devices and social networks promise connection, they actually deliver isolation, social detachment and depression.

As these devices become more capable of sensory immersion, the problems they foment will only become more extreme, leading to extreme isolationism, escapism and truly delusional life experiences. People will live and die in “the Matrix,” so to speak.

On the up side, immersion devices have tremendous therapeutic value and training value. They could theoretically be used to teach the fundamentals of liberty, consciousness, economics and philosophy, but history has shown they will most likely be exploited by corporate interests and abused by users to escape reality rather than enhance it. (Just look at where television ended up taking us…)

#3) The demonization of normalcy

Any idea that used to be considered “normal” is being increasingly demonized. For example, understanding mathematics and the laws of economics now makes you a “fringe whacko” in any discussion about the national debt or budget deficits.

Expressing the existence of human consciousness will earn you a sharp rebuke from conformists who insist there is no such thing as consciousness. This group already includes many the world’s top physicists such as Stephen Hawking.

Ideas like “we should be responsible for our own actions” are becoming increasingly alien across society. Even a heterosexual lifestyle is now being thought of as “abnormal” by the new metro-sexual trendies. Everything normal and natural is being marginalized and replaced with radical, anti-consciousness ideas such as “it’s okay to murder babies right after they are born, just call it a post-birth abortion.”

Normalcy is the new “closet.” If you are normal, hide it away, lest you be incessantly berated by your peers for not conforming to their “new wave” of freakish ideas.

#4) The rise of “omission journalism”

Journalism is increasingly becoming more about what is omitted from the news rather than what’s in it. As mainstream media institutions pursue agendas of social shaping rather than reporting factual news, they use the power of omission to make sure the people aren’t aware of the most socially-relevant stories.

For example, in our modern time there are two huge stories the media isn’t reporting because it’s practicing “omission journalism.” Those stories are the abortion murder trials and DHS bullet stockpiling.

When watching the news, an informed observer must now ask himself, “What are they NOT showing me?” Therein lie the real stories that will never be reported.

#5) The “Idiocracy” effect of self-selected procreation that multiplies the number of people least qualified to advance humanity

I call this the “Idiocracy” effect, named after the movie of the same name (by Mike Judge). It simply means that humans who are least qualified to advance humanity are the most likely to have the most offspring.

Put simply, smart people have fewer babies, but the idiots procreate in massive numbers. This ultimately skews the demographic profile into a society filled with people of very low cognitive function who nevertheless represent the voting majority. From there, the downfall of society and the rise of the idiocracy is only a matter of time.

In a hundred years, this article you are reading right now will be incomprehensible to even high-level scholars of the future because it uses big words like “demographic” and “cognitive.” Anyone who can do basic algebra will be considered a genius.

#6) The censorship and criminalization of knowledge

Today, publishing truthful knowledge about nutritional supplements, colloidal silver or natural medicine is considered a criminal activity. Any coherent physics analysis of WTC building 7 is also met with sheer derision.

One of the trademarks of the insane society into which we have already entered is the censorship and criminalization of knowledge. Any who speak the truth, who attempt to preserve knowledge, or who counter lies with truth are immediately branded whackos, conspiracy theorists or terrorists.

The purpose of this ploy is to eliminate all knowledge from society’s memory so that reality can be instantly reshaped at will by the governing tyrants. A population which has no connection with actual history, knowledge of natural medicine or even awareness of their natural rights is far easier to control than a well-educated population with a sense of factual context.

#7) Selective dehumanization: The abandonment of any value for the life of a newborn child or any adult who disagrees with you

Dehumanization is a key trend to watch. You see it right now with the idea that sufficiently young children have no “life” and no value and can be terminated as a “choice.” You also see it with the increasingly radical rhetoric in the mainstream media, where guests on CNN and other broadcasts call for the violent shooting of anyone who disagrees with them.

These are signs of dehumanization, and they will be extended and multiplied until all those who disagree with the governing status quo are labeled “animals” and dealt with accordingly.

I’ve even reflected this very trend right here on Natural News when describing the great “zombie masses” that threaten our society. To refer to people as “zombies” is to dehumanize them. We must be extremely careful when invoking this term if it is not clear that the context is satire or comedy.

#8) The “theaterization” of narratives for political gain (false flags)

Government is becoming less a body that governs and more an institution that can only be called a “theater production entity.”

Violent, public theater productions are increasingly carried out under the pretense that they are actual events which demand increased government power to prevent. Because terror has the most emotional and viral impact across society, terror events are chosen as the most economical forms of government theater to achieve a desired social or political goal.

The use of false flags and government theater will increase to the point where nearly everything announced by government is a complete falsehood. This use of theater instead of governance serves to further detach people from reality while making them more malleable to the whims of government obedience.

#9) The end of privacy: Government tracking and cross-referencing of every uttered word, email, web page visit, photos and electronic communications

The rise of total government surveillance — as is already under construction in the United States — promises to record, profile and cross-index every uttered word, email, web activity, phone text and electronic transmission.

This capability will very quickly be abused by political forces to track and destroy political enemies while suppressing freedom of thought across society. Certain words will become illegal to utter… even to type into a word processing application that stores data in “the cloud.”

The surveillance state is what makes the police state fatal, because it transforms a police state from a group of bumbling idiots into an informed domestic police force with specific reachable targets. A police state without surveillance is just a bunch of guys standing around with guns. A police state with surveillance is a totalitarianistic nightmare.

#10) Rewriting of history

Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it, and the growing power of the state does not want private citizens to have any knowledge of actual history.

Already, the revisionists are hard at work. In recent memory, for example, we’ve seen gun control pushers on the left argue that Hitler never enacted gun control laws before rounding up disarmed Jews and murdering them in gas chambers.

We’ve also seen new efforts in popular media to demonize America’s Founding Fathers and paint them as discredited terrorists. Other efforts are under way to disparage the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These are all efforts to eradicate history and force citizens to forget where they came from and what it took to establish freedom in the first place.

Much of the rewriting of history is accomplished through popular media: TV shows, movies and social media.

The Suffering

These trends will ultimately lead us to an era that I call “The Suffering.”

This era will be characterized by mass starvation, pandemics, financial catastrophe, extreme social unrest, global infertility, biological freakism, mental insanity and intense suffering.

This suffering will be born out of detachment from self, from nature, from consciousness and from the Creator. Detachment is the common theme that will haunt society during the suffering.

The Suffering may last a decade or even a generation. But once the suffering has been sufficient, out of it will come en era of spiritual renaissance — a cry for help from those who realize their detachment has caused unnecessary suffering and that healing can be initiated by returning to reality. They will once again seek connection rather than detachment. They will once again value life, seeds and consciousness rather than abnormalcy, death and mindlessness.

The Consciousness movement

I predict this will see the rise of a powerful “consciousness movement” that will grow from humble beginning as a minor social movement to an unstoppable political movement. Its basis will be philosophical: that humans are conscious, free-will beings with a soul that exists beyond the physical.

This simple truth will become the basis for a movement that inherently combines compassion with personal responsibility, espousing both conscious connection with all living things while simultaneously recognizing the individual responsibility to make something of yourself. It will revolutionize both science and spirituality while finding common ground in both.

The Consciousness movement will spur the next stage of societal evolution on our world, and it will simultaneously mark the end of the era of biological determinism and scientific reductionism. Holism will finally be recognized as the key fundamental philosophy that underlies health, science, religion and even consciousness.

In the mean time, make sure you are prepared to survive “The Suffering” so that you will still be around to enjoy the rise of the Consciousness movement. All this may take many years — or even decades — to unfold. Hunker down for the long haul, in other words, and never lose track of the ultimate destination in all this: the global recognition of consciousness and the non-physical soul.

John Hagee is a San Antonio based Baptist pastor who leads a nationwide group that proudly says they have donated some 70 million dollars to Israel. Hagee used to be an Assembly of God minister in Dallas but had to quit after leaving his wife and two children  for a younger woman.

Hagee made a  video which gives his best interpretation  of why it is likely that the US economy and military will be collapsing as soon as next year. His video is on the 4 Blood Moons which occur starting on Passover 4-14-2014. A Blood Moon or Hunter’s Moon is the first full moon after the Harvest Moon which is the full moon nearest the autumn equinox. This sounds confusing but what Hagee says in terms of propaganda is what matters.

Hagee believes the Bible says America will be rendered incapable of waging war in the Mideast during the period of these Blood Moons occurs on Passover in 2014. The last of these four Blood Moons will occur on Sukkot 9-28-2015. Sukkot is a Harvest festival and occurs 15 days after Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and five days after Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). So what he is talking about is the end of America as a world power some time before 9-28-2015.

He also says that Israel will take on Russia, China, Germany, Turkey, Iran and its Muslin neighbors and win. This parallels Islamic escathology in terms of alliances but not in outcome. Sheikh Imran Hosein says the Israelis will be led by Daijal (anti-Christ) and that Daijal will be defeated. Islam also differs in that they say Syria will defeat Turkey. Hosein also says that Israel wants to replace Pax Americana with Pax Judaica just as the bankers of New York and London replaced Pax Britannica with Washington. I think Hosein is more likely to be right than Hagee. I most recently explained how the America could be brought down rather swiftly over the next few months in The Bankers Really, Really, Want US All Dead.

I should point out that Hagee believes God pours his wrath and judgement on the Gentiles at the times of of solar eclipses. There will be a total solar eclipse on Adar 29/Nisan 1 (March 20, 2015).  This teaching can be used to convince some mind controlled people will believe God commanded a severe Depression because other people did not believe Hagee.

The problem I have with Hagee is that those great armies do not have to assemble against Israel. Syria, Iran and Hezbollah have 150,000 missiles which they can fire at Israel if they are attacked. Hezbollah on its own can turn Tel Aviv into a pile of rubble and take down the Israeli power grid for several months. He also believes the Israeli lie that Iran has a nuclear weapons program. The US has 16 intelligence agencies and they all say there is no such program. Attacking Iran’s nuclear project would require bunker buster bombs and nuclear weapons. The radiation released would kill 30 million people. That is in addition to the millions that will be killed by Fukushima which has already released 300 times more radiation than Chernobyl. Depleted Uranium is also a threat. But a retaliation from Pakistan would be a global disaster as they would have to strike India as well as Israel. Hagee who will be 73 years-old in April is clearly not thinking through what he is saying.

Hagee was not quite truthful in what he said about the previous three Blood Moons in the last 500 years which were in 1492, 1948 and 1967. The actual dates of the 1492 moons were a little bit later: Passover, April 2, 1493, Sukkoth, Sept. 25, 1493 and Passover, March 22, 1494. He also fibbed on the history of Spain. Hagee said the Jews were persecuted. Far from it. The Jews of Spain were converted North Africans and threw open the gates of the cities so the invading Berbers could kill the Christians. For more than 7 centuries the Jews were spies and torturers of Christians. They also kidnapped Christians and sold them into slavery. In 1492 the last Muslim city fell and the Jews were merely asked to leave. Many Jews converted. Some became Popes. Many moved on to profit by enslaving Africans and selling them in the New World.

In 1948 Hagee says the Jews recovered from the Holocaust and founded the state of Israel. Again in this case the four Blood Moons happened after the events it was supposed to predict had already occurred. The Holohoax was a lie. There is absolutely no evidence that were fewer Jews alive in 1950 than in 1940. The Red Cross was permitted visitation rights to all German camps.  The Red Cross also had permanent observers in every camp. None made claims of gas chambers before the war was over. It was claimed that 700,000 Jews were thrown into a pit and burned alive at one camp. The reality was that the camp was in a swamp with a water table at five feet so that never happened. It was claimed hundreds of thousands of Jews died from the exhaust from diesel engines which is possible only for gas combustion engines. The stories of lamp shades and soap made from human beings have been admitted to as lies by Jewish scholars. So what is the truth? The Jewish controlled governments of American the Soviet Union and Great Britain killed 58 million people after the German military tried to surrender in March of 1939 and the Japanese Emperor had attempted to surrender in 1936.

What will happen on 4-15-2014 or on that total solar eclipse on  March 20, 2015? Only God knows. But I can absolutely guarantee that  the United States will be incapable of waging a war overseas in 2014 if not sooner. But this will be the result of machinations of the Jews and their allies against America. As I have been saying for some time, the bankers do not want American to be strong enough to demand reparations of the more than 40 trillion dollars they stole from us.

Hagee says God is Jewish. I would say that the God Jews imagine is a psychopathic criminal racist as are their fraudulent stories they claim as history. Dr Israel Finkelstein in the Bible Unearthed told us there never were any Passover events as described in the Book of Genesis. There never was a unified kingdom of Israel and Judah. There never was a Temple of Solomon. The people of Judah were just Canaanites who lived in the hills and attacked their cousins who lived in the wealthy cities on the plains. The Jewish religion did not exist until 622 B.C. when the Jews discovered the Books of Moses. Genetically only 3% of all Jewish genes can be traced back to the Canaanites. The other 97% of all Jews are from Asian Khazars, Slavs, Europeans and converted Arabs and Berbers. Obviously, these people have no claim to Israel.

There is another fraud being perpetrated by the Zionists. They have taken away our rights and even groped our genitals at airports to protect us at airports to protect us from Al Qaeda. But Al Qaeda was created in the Carter administration and has worked for the Zionists States of America ever since. They were blamed for the 911 attacks which were actually done by Israel and traitors within the US. They were instrumental in stealing Libya’s gold  and nearly 100 billion dollars in cash for the banks which own the American and British governments. Al Qaeda is rather foolishly being used to attack Syria in order to make war with Iran possible and to let Israel commit an even greater genocide against the Palestinians. This will end in disaster. The people running the operations are incompetent, insane and driven by fear and greed. They are the lowest form of life and do not deserve our respect.

I will conclude by giving you the dates of the four Blood Moons and the total solar eclipse which will be used by the Israeli apologists to cover their plans to transfer even more wealth from you to them through a Depression and to maintain control through a Mideast war.

After the white-smoke “fumatta” signaled Argentina’s Archbishop of Buenos Aires Jorge Bergoglio now heads the Catholic Church, the attention turns to significant, if subtle, signs surrounding the naming of the new Pope.

As soon as Msgr. Bergoglio was chosen, in the privacy of the Vatican Cardinal Giovanni Battista’s first question to him was, “What name would you like to be known by?” to which he replied “I shall be called Francis I”.

Moments later, when presented to the world from the Basilica overlooking St. Peter’s Square Pope Francis announced to the world, “You know that the duty of the conclave was to give a bishop to Rome. It seems that my brother cardinals went almost to the end of the world to get him. But here we are.” 

An interesting and significant phrase filled with foreboding in these troubling times, many perceive of apocalyptic worldwide turmoil.  Particularly to those lending credence to the prophesies of Irish Saint Malachy, a 12th century Archbishop of Armagh who had a vision when visiting Rome of 112 future popes that the Church would supposedly have from his days onwards. 

Malachy wrote down short emblematic and symbolic descriptions for each which have been fulfilled with uncanny precision to this very day. 

According to that vision, the 111th pope was Benedict XVI, whom he described as “The Glory of the Olive” which makes him the next-to-last pope.

Malachy could have very well been way off the mark by whole centuries when you consider that some popes like Pius IX in the 19th century reigned for a full 34 years, whilst others like last century’s John Paul I only reigned for 33 short days.  And yet, as we enter 2013 – just months after 2012 with its symbolic End-of-Time aura – we suddenly have a new (the last?) pope being chosen.

Many “firsts”

Even if Francis I is not the last pope, he certainly makes an interesting list of Catholic firsts: the first non-European pope in almost 1500 years; the first Jesuit; the first to choose Francis as his name; the first to succeed an abdicating pope in six centuries.

Why all the expectation?  Because for the 112th pope on Malachy’s List he wrote these ominous words: “In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.”

If Malachy’s List continues to hold in its uncanny precision to the very end, then Pope Francis I is the last pope of the Roman Catholic Church. 

On the very same day that Benedict XVI shocked the world with his unprecedented and unexpected resignation, a bolt of lightning struck St. Peter Cathedral’s Dome, an image that went around the world.  “The hand of God” many thought, only this time not alluding to an Argentine football player but rather a sign of the times to come for the Vatican: the coming of an Argentinian pope.

The monsignors are said to take this and other prophecies – notably the Vision of Fatima – quite seriously, which might help to explain why other possible papal candidates who either carried the name Peter or came from Rome were discretely left aside so as not to tempt Destiny.

Either way, Francis I is as he himself unwittingly said, an “end of the world” pope coming as he does from far off Argentina.

Opposition Cardinal in Argentina

As Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Bergoglio championed the plight of the poor in a very hands-on manner, which set him at loggerheads with the now ten-year-old, increasingly left-wing Nestor and Cristina Kirchner Regime.  

His criticism of their government got stronger as the years went by, specifically targeting the Kirchner government’s corruption, political mismanagement and hypocrisy. 

Since Msgr. Bergoglio would persistently lash out at the Kirchners during the solemnities of the Te Deum marking the anniversary of Argentina’s 25th May 1810 Revolution in Buenos Aires Cathedral which is traditionally attended by the President, his family and cabinet. Starting in 2005 the Kirchners decided to celebrate this anniversary elsewhere in the country to avoid Msgr. Bergoglio…  In fact, President Cristina Kirchner has not met with him in almost three years now.

Though a moderate in many aspects – especially in his drive for Ecumenical inter-faith relations (he was just invited to visit Israel), and in his embracing of Second Vatican Council reforms – he has, however, systematically opposed same-sex marriage which became legal in Argentina in 2011, and strongly opposes abortion laws that are being promoted by both the left and the “liberal” right.

Msgr. Bergoglio is an ardent devotee of the Virgin Mary whose protection he invoked in his very first message urbi et orbi.  The first place he went to pray as pope was the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin at Santa Maria Maggiore.

A House Cleaner in the Vatican?

As a sign of the times to come, Francis I is also the first pope in history to choose a name that honors one of Christendom’s most important saints: Saint Francis of Assisi, a 13th century reformer who preached by setting an example for all.

Although from a wealthy family, he chose to live in poverty and austerity telling his followers that a good Christian’s duty is to “Preach the Gospel always, if necessary use words”; meaning thereby that the best preachers are those setting the best examples, something the Church seems to have increasingly forgotten in modern times.

Saint Francis founded the Franciscan Order and its female counterpart founded by his spiritual sister St. Claire, both of which made vows of poverty.  His preaching got him into trouble with local secular and Church authorities even landing him in jail. 

As today, the Church of St. Francis’s time was very much in need of a major internal clean-up.  Francis of Assisi reproached the pope in front of all his cardinals for their excessive attachment to luxury, and their banality and mundane ways.  Later, Pope Innocent III would finally approve his predication and approved the founding of the Franciscan Order.

So, will Pope Francis I do as his spiritual predecessor and wage a veritable war for greater austerity inside the Church, requiring its highest authorities to set the example, both inside and outside the Church? 

Will he really do something about prelates accused of improper sexual conduct, cutting them off fully and completely from the Church, and not just “transferring” them away to some quiet place hoping their immoralities and perversion will just go away, as if by magic? 

Will Francis I also fully and thoroughly clean up the Vatican Bank (Institute of Religious Works) forcing it to cancel shady financial deals, reject usury-based financial income, and putting its monetary wealth to work for the poor? 

Again, will he identify and weed out the truly guilty of such crimes and perversion, severing all Church ties with them?
In short, will Francis I do something none of his predecessors seems to have had the will to do over the past fifty years, which is not to sweep all this mess under the carpet, but rather cleaning the place up for real? 

That all remains to be seen.

Hundreds of millions of honest Catholics the world over, including in his native Argentina, certainly hope that he will.
Others, much closer to him now, who reside inside the Vatican, however, tremble at the thought that he might actually do just that. 

Clearly a grave danger for Pope Francis, when one remembers that another pope – John Paul I – had pledged when chosen that he would clean up the Vatican Bank after its Banco Ambrosiano/Freemasonry scandal.  Alas!  John Paul I appears as Pope No. 109 in Malachy’s List, carrying the phrase “De Medietate Lunae” (of the Half of the Moon”): when elected in late August 1978, there was a half-moon in the sky and he died at the next half-moon…

Which Francis?

But we’re not really sure whether Msgr. Bergoglio chose his papal name only because of the Saint from Assisi.  It may have been to honor other Francis’s like St. Francis Javier, or even 16th century St. Francis de Borja both of whom were, like himself, Jesuits. 

The Jesuits – The Society of Jesus – are a 16th Century order founded by Spaniard St. Ignace of Loyola, as a militia to defend the Church against the forces of reformation and other dangers to the faith. 

The Jesuit’s strong-willed militancy got them expelled several times from the American colonies and also from Europe.  Even the Church itself suppressed them.  They have an autonomous leadership under its Superior General whom many refer to as the “Black Pope” alluding to the Order’s great leverage inside then Church.  Jesuits are known for being shrewd and sharp intellectuals with a keen sense for political and social strategy, and a very strong will to promote and drive their goals and objectives.

Maybe Msgr. Bergoglio is honoring all of these Francis’s. But the one that has caught the Catholic world’s imagination is clearly St Francis of Assisi, in which case much will be expected of Pope Francis.  No pope – until now – has ever chosen that name which many perceive as emblematic of a key enemy of certain castes of mischief-makers inside the Vatican.

Why are corporate insiders dumping huge numbers of shares in their own companies right now?  Why are some very large investors suddenly making gigantic bets that the stock market will crash at some point in the next 60 days?  Do Wall Street insiders expect something really BIG to happen very soon?  Do they know something that we do not know? What you are about to read below is startling.  Every time that the market has fallen in recent years, insiders have been able to get out ahead of time.  David Coleman of the Vickers Weekly Insider report recently noted that Wall Street insiders have shown “a remarkable ability of late to identify both market peaks and troughs”.  That is why it is so alarming that corporate insiders are selling nine times as many shares as they are buying right now.  In addition, some extraordinarily large bets have just been made that will only pay off if the financial markets in the U.S. crash by the end of April.  So what does all of this mean?  Well, it could mean absolutely nothing or it could mean that there are people out there that actually have insider knowledge that a market crash is coming.  Evaluate the evidence below and decide for yourself…

For some reason, corporate insiders have chosen this moment to unload huge amounts of stock.  According to a CNN article, corporate insiders are now selling nine times more of their own shares than they are buying…

Corporate insiders have one word for investors: sell.

Insiders were nine times more likely to sell shares of their companies than buy new ones last week, according to the Vickers Weekly Insider report by Argus Research.

What makes this so alarming is that corporate insiders have been exceedingly good at “timing the market” in recent years.  The following comes from a recent CNBC article entitled “Sucker Alert? Insider Selling Surges After Dow 14,000“…

“In almost perfect coordination with an equity market that was rushing toward new all-time highs, insider sentiment has weakened sharply — falling to its lowest level since late March 2012,” wrote David Coleman of the Vickers Weekly Insider report, one of the longest researchers of executive buying and selling on Wall Street. “Insiders are waving the cautionary flag in an increasingly aggressive manner.”

There have been more than nine insider sales for every one buy over the past week among NYSE stocks, according to Vickers. The last time executives sold their company’s stock this aggressively was in early 2012, just before the S&P 500 went on to correct by 10 percent to its low for the year.

“Insiders know more than the vast majority of market participants,” said Enis Taner, global macro editor for RiskReversal.com. “And they’re usually right over a long period of time.”

There are other indications that the stock market may be headed for a significant tumble in the months ahead.  For example, as a Zero Hedge article recently pointed out, the last time that the financial markets in the U.S. were as “euphoric” as they are now was right before the financial crisis of 2008.

And as I mentioned above, some people out there have recently made some absolutely jaw-dropping bets against stocks which will only pay off if there is a financial crash at some point in the next few months.

According to Business Insider, the recent purchase of 100,000 put options by a mystery investor has a lot of people on Wall Street talking…

According to Barron’s columnist Steven Sears, someone made a big bet against the financials ETF yesterday (ticker symbol XLF), and it has everybody buzzing.

The trader bought 100,000 put options on the ETF (a put option increases in value when the price of the underlying asset, in this case, the ETF, goes down).

To put that number in perspective, Sears writes, “Few investors ever trade more than 500 contracts, so a 100,000 order tends to stop traffic and prompt all sorts of speculation about what’s motivating the trade.” According to Sears, the trade “has sparked conversations across the market.”

Reportedly, those put options expire in April.

And as Art Cashin of UBS has noted, there was also another extremely large bet that was placed recently that is banking on a financial crash within the next two months…

A Very Big Bet In A Somewhat Unlikely Instrument – My friend, Jim Brown, the ever-alert consummate professional over at Option Investor pointed us to a rather unusual trade. Here’s what he wrote in last night’s edition of his valuable newsletter:

In past years I have reported on trades that were so large it appeared someone had inside knowledge of a pending event. Sometimes those were massive put positions on the S&P. A new trade just appeared that suggests there will be a market event in the near future. Last week somebody put on a call spread on the VIX using the April 20 and 25 puts. They bought 150,000 contracts for a net of $75 per contract. That is an $11,250,000 bet that the VIX will move over 20 over the next 60 days. You would have to be VERY confident in your outlook to risk $11 million on a directional position with the VIX at five year lows and the markets trying to break out to new highs.

So does all of this guarantee that the stock market is going to move a certain way?

Of course not.

But when you step back and look at the bigger picture, it does appear that Wall Street insiders are preparing for something.

Meanwhile, the government continues to assure us that happy days are here again for the U.S. economy and that we don’t have anything to worry about.

The Congressional Budget Office has just released a report that contains their outlook for the next decade.  The report is entitled “The Budget and Economic Outlook: Fiscal Years 2013 to 2023″, and if you want a good laugh you should read it.

Here are some of the things that the CBO believes will happen…

-The CBO believes that government revenues will more than double by 2023.

-The CBO believes that government revenue as a percentage of GDP will rise from 15.8 percent today to 19.1 percent in 2023.

-The CBO believes that the unemployment rate will continually fall over the next decade.

-The CBO believes that the federal budget deficit will fall to just 2.4% of GDP in fiscal year 2015.

-The CBO believes that the federal budget deficit will only be $430 billion in 2015.

-The CBO believes that we will not have a single recession over the next decade.

-The CBO believes that inflation will stay at about 2 percent for the next decade.

-The CBO believes that U.S. GDP will grow by a total of 67 percent by 2023.

Wow, all of that sounds great until you go back and take a look at how CBO projections have fared in the past.

In fact, Bruce Krasting has gone back and looked at the numbers from the Congressional Budget Office’s Budget and Economic Outlook 2003.  I think that you will find the differences between the CBO projections and what really happened to be very humorous…

Estimated 10-year budget surplus = $5.6T.

Reality = $6.6T deficit. A 200+% miss.

Estimate for 2012 Debt Held by Public = $1.2T (5% of GDP).

Reality = Debt Held by Public = $11.6T. A 1000% miss.

Estimated fiscal 2012 GDP = $17.4T.

Reality = $15.8T. A $1.6T (10%) miss.

So should we trust what the CBO is telling us now?

Of course not.

Instead, perhaps we should listen to some of the men that successfully warned us about the last financial crisis…

-”Dr. Doom” Marc Faber recently stated that he “loves the high odds of a ‘big-time’ market crash“.

-Economist Nouriel Roubini says that we should “prepare for a perfect storm“.

-Pimco’s Bill Gross says that we are heading for a “credit supernova“.

-Nomura’s Bob Janjuah believes that the financial markets will experience one more huge spike before collapsing by up to 50%…

I continue to believe that the S&P500 can trade up towards the 1575/1550 area, where we have, so far, a grand double top. I would not be surprised to see the S&P trade marginally through the 2007 all-time nominal high (the real high was of course seen over a decade ago – so much for equities as a long-term vehicle for wealth creation!). A weekly close at a new all-time high would I think lead to the final parabolic spike up which creates the kind of positioning extreme and leverage extreme needed to create the conditions for a 25% to 50% collapse in equities over the rest of 2013 and 2014, driven by real economy reality hitting home, and by policymaker failure/loss of faith in “their system”.

The truth is that no matter how much money printing the Federal Reserve does, it is only a matter of time before the financial markets catch up with economic reality.

The U.S. economy has been in decline for a very long time, and things just continue to get even worse.  Here are just a few numbers…

-The percentage of the civilian labor force that is employed has fallen every single year since 2006.

-According to John Williams of shadowstats.com, truly accurate numbers would show that U.S. GDP growth has actually been continuously negative all the way back to 2005.

-U.S. families that have a head of household that is under the age of 30 have a poverty rate of 37 percent.

-One recent survey found that nearly half of all Americans are living on the edge of financial ruin.

-According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are more than 146 million Americans that are considered to be either “poor” or “low income” at this point.

So where is all of this headed?

Well, after the next major financial crisis in America things are going to get very tough.

We can get a hint for how things are going to be by taking a look at what is going on over in Europe right now.

Can you imagine people trampling each other for food?  That is what is happening in Greece.  Just check out this excerpt from a Reuters article…

The National Intelligence Council is a high-level agency best known for producing National Intelligence Estimates – forecasts predicting future trends and issues of the next fifteen years. These extensive reports are produced every election year and are directly delivered to the  incoming President between Election Day and Inauguration Day. The latest NIC report released on December 2012 is called Global Trends 2030: Alternative Worlds (read it here) and discusses several issues such as the decline of the role of the United States as a global policeman and the rise of non-state actors in world politics. It also mentions another key issue: A fast-paced race towards transhumanism.

“Human Augmentation” is indeed considered a key issue in the next 15 years as new technologies will allow all kinds of modifications “ranging from implants and prosthetics to powered exoskeletons, human augmentation enhancing innate human abilities”. These augmentations would be used on soldiers, workers and anyone that can afford them, giving them “super-human” powers and capabilities, whether it be on a physical or a mental level.

Some might say: “That sounds cool VC, what is wrong with that? Why do you always say that it is wrong”. I personally never described transhumanism as being “right” or “wrong”, I do make these kinds of judgement calls. I however do have facts about the issue. First, transhumanism is undeniably being actively pushed by mass media and promoted as something that is necessary and inevitable in the future; Second, it is a logical continuation of the Luciferian philosophy held by the world elite where godhood and immortality is meant to be achieved by humans by their own means. In fact, Max More, a leading transhumanist philosopher considers himself as a “Luciferian”.

“The Devil—Lucifer—is a force for good (where I define ‘good’ simply as that which I value, not wanting to imply any universal validity or necessity to the orientation). ‘Lucifer’ means ‘light-bringer’ and this should begin to clue us in to his symbolic importance. The story is that God threw Lucifer out of Heaven because Lucifer had started to question God and was spreading dissension among the angels. We must remember that this story is told from the point of view of the Godists (if I may coin a term) and not from that of the Luciferians (I will use this term to distinguish us from the official Satanists with whom I have fundamental differences). The truth may just as easily be that Lucifer resigned from heaven.”

Lastly, due to the prohibitive cost of “human augmentation”, transhumanism will only be available to the richest and most powerful people and the world (the world elite) and will created an even wider gap between the “masses” and the “elite”. The National Intelligence Council report states:

“The high cost of human augmentation means that it probably will be available in 15-20 years only to those who are able to pay. Such a situation may lead to a two-tiered society.”

This is why transhumanism is so heavily promoted in mass media. It will only be available to the richest people on Earth, creating a separate, “elite” class of “superhumans” and this concept needs to be accepted by the masses, even if it goes against its best interests. Through predictive programming using movies, TV and video games, the masses are “programmed” in perceiving transhumanism as an inevitability, as something that is bound to happen. That way, when it will actually happen, nobody will be outraged by it, it will be considered as something normal.

U.S. spy agency predicts a very transhuman future by 2030

The National Intelligence Council has just released its much anticipated forecasting report, a 140-page document that outlines major trends and technological developments we should expect in the next 20 years. Among their many predictions, the NIC foresees the end of U.S. global dominance, the rising power of individuals against states, a growing middle class that will increasingly challenge governments, and ongoing shortages in water, food and energy. But they also envision a future in which humans have been significantly modified by their technologies — what will herald the dawn of the transhuman era.

This work brings to mind the National Science Foundation’s groundbreaking 2003 report, Converging Technologies for Improving Human Performance — a relatively early attempt to understand and predict how advanced biotechnologies would impact on the human experience. The NIC’s new report, Global Trends 2030: Alternative Worlds, follows in the same tradition — namely one that doesn’t ignore the potential for enhancement technologies.

In the new report, the NIC describes how implants, prosthetics, and powered exoskeletons will become regular fixtures of human life — what could result in substantial improvements to innate human capacities. By 2030, the authors predict, prosthetics should reach the point where they’re just as good — or even better — than organic limbs. By this stage, the military will increasingly rely on exoskeletons to help soldiers carry heavy loads. Servicemen will also be adminstered psychostimulants to help them remain active for longer periods.

Many of these same technologies will also be used by the elderly, both as a way to maintain more youthful levels of strength and energy, and as a part of their life extension strategies.

Brain implants will also allow for advanced neural interface devices — what will bridge the gap between minds and machines. These technologies will allow for brain-controlled prosthetics, some of which may be able to provide “superhuman” abilities like enhanced strength, speed — and completely new functionality altogether.

Other mods will include retinal eye implants to enable night vision and other previously inaccessible light spectrums. Advanced neuropharmaceuticals will allow for vastly improved working memory, attention, and speed of thought.

“Augmented reality systems can provide enhanced experiences of real-world situations,” the report notes, “Combined with advances in robotics, avatars could provide feedback in the form of sensors providing touch and smell as well as aural and visual information to the operator.”

But as the report notes, many of these technologies will only be available to those who are able to afford them. The authors warn that it could result in a two-tiered society comprising enhanced and nonenhanced persons, a dynamic that would likely require government oversight and regulation.

Smartly, the report also cautions that these technologies will need to be secure. Developers will be increasingly challenged to prevent hackers from interfering with these devices.

Lastly, other technologies and scientific disciplines will have to keep pace to make much of this work. For example, longer-lasting batteries will improve the practicality of exoskeletons. Progress in the neurosciences will be critical for the development of future brain-machine interfaces. And advances in flexible biocompatible electronics will enable improved integration with cybernetic implants.

Through secrecy and stealth in their secret societies and organizations, they have plotted and planned a conspiracy against all of God’s children, and the fruits of their efforts through all of the centuries are seemingly about to come to fruition, or so they believe.

If they were to be successful in their plans, all of humanity would be subjugated to an existence of slavery with the minions of evil having power and control over all of you. Fortunately, many of you have awoken to their plans and have been inspired to inform and lead your brothers and sisters to resist these evil plans to subjugate and control all of you.

It is time now for all of you to take a stand against this insidious plan which the minions of evil have come to call the New World Order, for this order is not new, it is ancient and demonic, and against the plans of the Father in Heaven.

Although these greedy and sinful followers of the evil one have made great strides in their attempts to control you, their plans are going to be soundly defeated despite their great efforts.

They have gained control through their banking systems of virtually all countries in the world. Those who are resisting their plans are called terrorists, and you are led to believe that their enemies are your enemies. They have gained control of the leaders of these nations, and the politicians in every nation to the point that they are now dictating their demands to all of the nations of the world through their control over your banking systems.

You must be warned that they are about to launch dark and sinister events globally to negatively impact all of the peoples of the world in a final attempt to enforce a dark and draconian control over the rest of you.

I am here to tell you that they will not succeed in their plans, for the Father in Heaven is directly interceding in the affairs of mankind through His Son, the Redeemer of the world, and the followers of the evil one will be exposed and punished for their deeds against the Father in Heaven.

I am telling you now that you must be vigilant in these times so that you can identify these enemies of the Father in Heaven and their evil plans to subjugate and control all of you.

 You are now entering a very dark period for humanity, while these minions are exposed and defeated. Great and terrible events will happen in the future because of their evil work, but those of you who are aligned with the Father in Heaven will not be defeated by their plans, for the Father in Heaven will see to it that they fail in their plans.

2013 will go down in history as the year of global insanity. The Earth isn’t going crazy, but many of the people who inhabit it certainly are. Madness is about to be unleashed on many fronts: economic, social, political, financial and more. In the near future, you will look back on the Christmas of 2012 and think, “Wow, those were the GOOD times!”

Do not read this article if you wish to continue frolicking in the land of TV delusions, fake news and celebrity gossip. These are the darkest real-world predictions I’ve ever published, and they are not things I ever wish to see come true. But I can’t deny the reality of where things are headed. If we project present-day trends into 2013, 2014 and 2015, the picture becomes a multi-front nightmare.

The madness in America has reached a crescendo. Nearly half the population is now under the mind control of a “cult of personality” political figure named Obama who is deliberately dismantling America one day at a time. Unlike Bush who was simply a tyrant, Obama is a charismatic tyrant, and that’s far more dangerous. As you may recall, Adolf Hitler was also highly charismatic and won over the hearts and minds of his followers, using many of the very same speech patterns as Obama, an expert in neurolinguistic programming and emotional manipulation.

Because the population has been mesmerized into a state of near-total complacency, an actual police state society is being rolled out right before our eyes, complete with the planned destruction of the Bill of Rights and the characterization of anyone who believes in the Constitution as a “terrorist.”

Both Republicans and Democrats are doing nothing to stop it, as they have been taken over by corporate interests or have been promised positions of power in the new society that they plan to install after they crush the Republic.

With Obama at the helm, America is being turned into a gulag nation, complete with the sexual abuse of the citizens by federal agents (TSA), secret execution lists of American citizens (NDAA), secret gulag prisons and the government’s continued staging of mass shootings (Aurora and more) to keep the population psychologically controlled in a never-ending state of fear.

2013 will be 1984 on steroids

The ultimate plan, as you will see rolled out over the next few years, is installing Communism in America, which requires the complete government takeover of the economy, the total disarmament of the population so that people cannot fight back, the “elimination” of all who believe in freedom and liberty, and the official destruction of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I wish I could say 2013 would be the year of “love” and “peace,” but unfortunately these will be used to provide a cover story for hatred, destruction and war. President Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, is already one of the most repugnant war criminals in human history, having launched or continued eight regional wars, complete with the dropping of “peace bombs” on innocent women and children.

As long as Obama talks about “love” at home — even while firing drone missiles at innocent children in the Middle East – he is worshipped by his mind-slave minions in the USA. By invoking LOVE, Obama emotionally disarms the People and furthers his agenda of hatred, destruction and enslavement. His supporters have lost discernment and unknowingly are supporting the rise of the next tyrannical dictator.

If we even have a Presidential election in 2016, I will be surprised. 2012 may have witnessed the last shreds of the Republic being deliberately terminated.

The following predictions apply from 2013 to the end of 2015, as I always make predictions in three-year blocks.

#1) The global debt collapse arrives

The so-called “fiscal cliff” is only the beginning of what we’re about to witness. When record-low tax revenues are reported in April because of Obama’s planned destruction of the U.S. economy, ratings organizations will downgrade U.S. debt, setting off a global selloff that could thrust America into a “nightmare” scenario of being unable to sell more debt (or at least not at reasonable interest rates).

This, in turn, would result in the Fed turning solely to printing new money to buy U.S. debt, quickly accelerating into compounding hyperinflation.

#2) Obama administration attempts to gut the Second Amendment

Obama is coming after the guns, and he’s aided by some of the most insidious and psychotic individuals walking the planet today: Joe Biden, Dianne Feinstein, Michael Moore and others.

Their goal is the complete disarmament of the American people so that the government has total control over all firepower, just like in China, North Korea and Hitler’s Germany.

It’s all pure hypocrisy, of course, because all of these people have their own armed bodyguards. Obama’s children are protected by eleven armed guards in a private school. Michael Moore has armed body guards. Dianne Feinstein has a concealed weapons permit in California. They all want themselves to be able to have weapons, but not YOU, the “little people” of America.

#3) Martial Law declared across America

2013 is the year things may break out into mass violence in America. Look for Obama to declare Martial Law and announce a mandatory nationwide gun confiscation measure.

This, of course, will lead to even more violence as armed citizens begin fighting back against an out-of-control federal government that attempts to seize power and nullify the entire U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

#4) Extreme shortages of guns, ammo, magazines as their barter value skyrockets

Already, guns, ammo and magazines are virtually impossible to find and buy. This shortage will continue throughout 2013 and even well into 2014. Even if strict new gun control laws are not passed, the existing shortage cannot be filled until roughly the end of 2013.

The wait time on purchase many new rifles has already reached one year. It’s likely to get even worse in 2013.

#5) Tactical weapon strikes target Iran

The U.S. is very likely to be involved in military strikes on Iran. The excuse will be that “Iran has nuclear weapons,” but of course so does America, and the leadership of America is clinically insane.

This old “weapons of mass destruction” sham was the same excuse President Bush used to attack Iraq, remember? Now Obama will use essentially the same ploy to launch another “Peace Prize” war on a nation of innocent people. After all, he’s the President of LOVE, right? And there’s no better way to express LOVE for people than to bomb their children into bloody bits, Obama believes.

#6) Massive false flag attack carried out in USA and blamed on patriots

This is the big prediction for 2013 – 2015. A very large false flag attack will be carried out by the government and used to blame patriots and gun owners. This attack will be, on the small side, another school massacre or the bombing of a government building. On the large side, it could even be the release of a radiological weapon in a major U.S. city.

The false flag 9/11 attack worked so well to strip away America’s rights and freedoms that it will be repeated. But this time it could be much larger, potentially involving the death of hundreds of thousands of people. There is no limit to the evil of Big Government. They will do anything to maintain power and destroy liberty, even if it means “sacrificing” a few hundred thousand innocent lives. Once this happens, Obama will once again take to the airways and pronounce his “LOVE” for the American people.

#7) DHS arms the TSA and begins insane abuses of Americans on roadway checkpoints

The TSA will soon be armed. That’s the plan, didn’t you know? Take the most psychotic government workers in the nation — who are already known pedophiles, drug dealers, child porn dealers, thieves and shakedown artists — and arm them with government weapons to be used against the American people.

Soon, the roadway checkpoints will be set up and armed TSA goons will be molesting women and children on highways just like they already do in the airports!

Remember, TSA “officers” receive no police training. They take no oath of office. They are not “law enforcement” by any stretch of the imagination. They receive a week’s worth of training and then are let loose on the American people. (A typical police officer, in great contrast, will receive many months of training and swear an oath to protect the Constitution.) The uniforms worn by TSA are actually costumes with fake badges that mean nothing more than a plastic badge you might buy at a toy store.

#8) The rise of the Resistance: Secret resistance groups begin to form across America

As the crushing of liberties continues across America (censorship, destroying the Bill of Rights, secret arrests, etc.) you will witness the rise of resistance groups. They may take many forms, including info-warriors, online resistance, protests, and possibly even physical resistance groups that carry out missions in the physical world.

The more aggressive, abuse and outrageous the government becomes, the more easily resistance groups will be able to recruit members. This is just an historical fact. In times of peace and fairness, there is little or no resistance. But in times of government oppression and tyranny, resistance grows quickly.

#9) Attacks on the First Amendment accelerate as government seizes websites

You can expect websites like NaturalNews.com, InfoWars.com and many others to be seized by the government following a declaration of Martial Law. The purpose of this is to prevent people from asking questions or being informed. The U.S. press, already tightly controlled by the White House, will be completely taken over to become state-run media much like exists in China.

#10) The rise of violent rhetoric among the population as disagreements turn to threats

The irreconcilable differences between government worshippers and government skeptics will reach a boiling point, especially over the issue of gun control. Those who worship government vehemently believe that all people should be disarmed and tightly controlled by the “all knowing” government, which they see as the ultimate source of wisdom and love. True Americans, on the other hand, rightfully see government as inherently evil and destructive, and they believe in individual liberty, the Constitution, and genuine patriotism.

Expect to see isolated acts of violence between these two groups. Remember, the government worshippers want to see all the Constitutionalists rounded up and sent to concentration camps (FEMA camps). But Constitutionalists will not willingly go. They will fight back against tyranny.

#11) Global government makes its move

Expect to see UN troops in U.S. cities before the end of 2015. The planned rollout of conflict in the USA is going to be followed by UN troops arriving on the scene to “rescue” the USA.

The whole point of all this is to take over America, disarm the entire nation, and move toward global government run by the insanely criminal United Nations. The military occupation of America will be called a “peacekeeping mission” just like it’s called everywhere else that UN troops invade another nation.

Once UN troops start showing up in America, you can expect armed resistance to really kick into high gear. Blue helmets make easy targets for American sharpshooters, and the American people have stored away billions of bullets for a rainy day. There will be no hesitation to fight back against enemy occupation.

#12) Accelerated mainstream media attacks on patriots, preppers and veterans

As all this is happening, the media will unleash a wave of vicious attacks on anyone who owns a gun or believes in the Constitution. Gun owners will be immediately labeled “terrorists,” and anyone who talks about the Bill of Rights or the Constitution will be subject to arrest and imprisonment in Obama’s secret gulag prisons (NDAA).

#13) Disagreement with the government characterized a “mental disorder”

The criminally-run industry of psychiatry will enter into the fray, providing a convenient “mental disorder” label that can be used to arrest and medicate anyone who opposes government.

“Obedience Defiance Disorder” is already on the books in the industry of psychiatry, and it will be used to deny firearms to anyone who makes any statement whatsoever against the government. If you post a pro-gun comment on Facebook, for example, not only will your Facebook account be terminated, you can also be arrested and drugged for having a “mental disorder.”

#14) Continued rise in unemployment, food stamps, welfare as Obama accelerates deliberate destruction of U.S. economy

Obama’s planned destruction of the U.S. economy will accelerate from 2013 – 2015, causing millions more people to lose their jobs. Employers will continue offshoring jobs, slashing job positions and job hours. Food stamp rolls will balloon, and the ultimate goal is to make more people entirely dependent on the government so that they will continue to vote for whichever candidates promise the most aggressive expansion of collectivist government.

#15) Criminalization of preparedness activities as government outlaws ammo storage of private citizens

The storage of ammunition, firearms and even food will be outlawed in America. Preparedness activities will be considered “acts of treason” against the nation, and people will be arrested and imprisoned for “prepping.”

The government, of course, will continue to stockpile ammo, weapons, food and survival gear. But that’s only for government. All private citizens will be criminalized for such actions.

#16) Riots in the streets, followed by Martial Law

At some point in all this, riots will break out. This could be triggered by any number of things: financial crash, bank holidays, the announcement of Martial Law, food shortages, etc.

No matter what the cause, riots will be used to further monopolize power in the hands of government by having government instigators join the riots and start throwing explosives or firing guns. This will allow the media and the government to characterize all crowds as “terrorists” and start opening fire on protesters everywhere. If this happens, it will accelerate the rise of the resistance.

#17) Deliberate food shortages used as a weapon of government control

Thanks to record crop failures in 2012, food shortages are already going to hit in 2013. But they could be made far worse by the government announcing Martial Law and then declaring price controls on food staples. This will result in immediate shortages. The government will then try to step in and control food distribution and supply, creating a total nightmare scenario for citizens.

Food will be denied to areas that have a large number of resistance members. This will primarily target urban areas, where most people own firearms and know how to use them. The strategy of the dictatorial government will become, “Starve ‘em out!” (It won’t work, of course, because country folks know how to raise their own food.)

#18) Weather becomes even more radicalized, with droughts, floods, freezes

You can fully expect 2013 to be another year of radical weather around the globe. Expect yet more food shortages to occur as crops fail due to floods, droughts and freezes.

#19) Solar weather gets nasty: Solar flares threaten communications

Speaking of weather, solar weather will also take a turn toward the extreme. The sun is entering a high-activity phase of its cycle, and this could play havoc with satellites and even the power grid.

If a large solar flare achieves a direct hit on the planet, it could cause widespread power grid failures followed by a chain of nuclear power plant meltdowns globally.

This could cause a massive population collapse and render large sections of the planet uninhabitable for centuries.

#20) You will be told the answer to all our problems is “MORE government!”

No matter what happens in 2013 – 2015, you will be told that the answer is to have bigger government controlling more of your money and your life. The only reason we have problems today, we’re told, is because government doesn’t yet have enough control. If we would only give up our paychecks, our jobs, our private property, our rights and our freedoms, government will “provide” for everyone!

Of course, there are countries where this has already been tried. Those countries are called North Korea, China, Cuba, etc. Are these countries shining examples of freedom and utopia? Never make predictions in the Middle East. My crystal ball broke long ago. But predicting the region has an honourable pedigree. “An Arab movement, newly-risen, is looming in the distance,” a French traveller to the Gulf and Baghdad wrote in 1883, “and a race hitherto downtrodden will presently claim its due place in the destinies of Islam.” A year earlier, a British diplomat in Jeddah confided that “it is within my knowledge… that the idea of freedom does at present agitate some minds even in Mecca…”

So let’s say this for 2013: the “Arab Awakening” (the title of George Antonius’ seminal work of 1938) will continue, the demand for dignity and freedom – let us not get tramelled up here with “democracy” – will go on  ravaging the pseudo-stability of the Middle East, causing as much fear in Washington as it does in the palaces of the Arab Gulf.

On the epic scale of history, that much is certain. At the incendiary core of this discontent will be the claims of a Palestinian state that does not exist and may never exist and the actions of an Israeli state which – through its constant building of colonies for Jews and Jews only on Arab land – ensures that “Palestine” will remain only an Arab dream. If 2012 is anything to go by, the Palestinians themselves face the coming year with the knowledge that: 1) neither the Americans nor the Europeans have the guts to help them, because 2) Israel will continue to act with impunity, and 3) neither the Obamas nor the Camerons nor the Hollandes have the slightest interest in taking on the Likudist lobby, which will scream “anti-semitism” the moment the minutest criticism is made against Israel.

Add to this the fact that Mahmoud Abbas and his utterly discredited regime in Ramallah will go on making concessions to the Israelis – if you do not believe me, read Clayton Swisher’s The Palestine Papers – even when there are no more concessions to make. Hamas and Khaled Meshaal will go on denying Israel’s right to exist – thus allowing Israel to falsely claim that it has “no one to talk to” – until the next Gaza war and the subsequent cowardly request from the West which will “urge restraint on both sides”, as if the Palestinians possess Merkava tanks, F-18s and drones. A third Intifada? Maybe. An approach to the International Court to condemn Israel for war crimes in building Jewish colonies on other people’s land? Perhaps. But so what? The Palestinians won an international court case which condemned the building of Israel’s apartheid/security wall – and absolutely nothing happened. That’s the fate of the Palestinians. They’re told by the likes of Tom Friedman to abandon violence and adopt the tactics of Gandhi; then when they do, they still lose, and Friedman remains silent. It was, after all, Gandhi who said that Western civilisation “would be a good idea”.

So bad news for Palestine in 2013. Iran? Well, the Iranians understand the West much better than we understand the Iranians – a lot of them, remember, were educated in the United States. And they’ve an intriguing way of coming out on top whatever they do. George Bush (and Lord Blair of Kut al-Amara) invaded Afghanistan and rid the Shia Iranians of their Sunni enemy, whom they always called the “Black Taliban”. Then Bush-Blair invaded Iraq and got rid of the Islamic Republic’s most loathsome enemy, Saddam Hussein. Thus did Iran win both the Afghan and the Iraqi war – without firing a shot.

There’s no doubt that Iran would fire a shot or two if Israel/America – the two are interchangeable in Iran as in many other Middle East countries – were to attack its nuclear facilities. But Israel has no stomach for an all-out war against Iran – it would lose – and the US, having lost two Middle East wars, has no enthusiasm for losing a third. Sanctions – and here is Iran’s real potential nemesis – are causing far more misery than Israel’s F-18s. And why is America threatening Iran in the first place? It didn’t threaten India when it went nuclear. And when that most unstable and extremist state called Pakistan was developing nuclear weapons, no US threat was made to bomb its facilities. True, we’ve heard that more recently – in case the nukes “fell into the wrong hands”, as in gas which might “fall into the wrong hands” in Syria; or in Gaza, for that matter, where democracy “fell into the wrong hands” the moment Hamas won elections there in 2006.

Now that Obama has entered his drone-happy second presidency, we’re going to hear more about those wonderful unpiloted bombers which have been ripping up bad guys and civilians for more than four years. One day, one of these machines – though they fly in packs of seven or eight – will hit too many civilians or, even worse, will contrive to kill westerners or NGOs. Then Obama will be apologising – though without the tears he expended over Newtown, Connecticut. And here’s a thought for this year. The gun lobby in the States tells us that “it’s not guns that kill – it’s people”. But apply that to drone attacks on Pakistan or Israeli bombardments of Gaza and the rubric changes. It’s the guns/bombs/rockets that kill because the Americans don’t mean to kill civilians and the Israelis don’t wish to kill civilians. It’s just “collateral damage” again, though that’s not an excuse you can provide for Hamas rockets.

So what’s left for 2013? Assad, of course. He’s already trying to win back some rebel forces to his own ruthless side – an intelligent though dangerous tactic – and the West is getting up to its knees in rebel cruelty. Yes, Assad will go. One day. He says as much. But don’t expect it to happen in the immediate future. Or Gaddafi-style. The old mantra still applies. Egypt was not Tunisia and Yemen was not Egypt and Libya was not Yemen and Syria is not Libya.

Iraq? Its own latent civil war will go on grinding up the bones of civil society while we largely ignore its agony; there are days now when more Iraqis are killed than Syrians, though you wouldn’t know it from the nightly news.

And the Gulf? Arabia, where the first Arab awakening began? Where, indeed, the first Arab revolution – the advent of Islam – burst forth upon the world. There are those who say that the Gulf kingdoms will remain secure for years to come. Don’t count on it. Watch Saudi Arabia. Remember what that British diplomat wrote 130 years ago. “Even in Mecca…”

It’s the end of the world – unless you’re in the Chinese Communist party. Over the past few weeks, Chinese authorities have detained over 93 people across seven provinces for spreading rumours that the end is nigh, laying bare the party’s obsession with social stability and maintaining its tight grip on power.

Many people in China believe in the so-called “Mayan apocalypse“ – slated to take place on 21 December, the last day on the Mayan long count calendar – because it was the central premise of the disaster film 2012, a box office sensation in China when it was released three years ago.

A man who slashed 22 schoolchildren last week in Henan province was “psychologically affected” by doomsday rumours, wrote the state newswire Xinhua. Shoppers in Sichuan province have been panic buying candles, convinced that Friday will kick off three consecutive days of darkness.

Authorities in far north-western Qinghai province arrested 37 members of a group called the Church of the Almighty God for spreading doomsday rumours last Thursday, according to a provincial government website. The group, which was founded in 1992, believes that a female Jesus has been, or will be, reincarnated in mainland China. It has called for death to the “Big Red Dragon”, its term for the Communist party. Hundreds of its followers have clashed with police in three provinces over the past week.

“A big eye was found in the sun on 9 December in Beijing, and female Jesus manifested herself with her name. Great tsunamis and earthquakes are about to happen around the world,” said part of a text message that the group sent to its adherents, according to the state-run Global Times newspaper. Chinese authorities call the group an “evil cult” that is guilty of embezzlement, kidnapping and torture.

State media said that authorities confiscated “a large number of banners, discs, slogans, books and printing machines”, but did not go into detail. It did not mention the group’s member count, though independent estimates range from thousands to over a million.

The rapid rise of subversive, quasi-religious groups in China is not without precedent. The mid-19th Taiping Rebellion, a bloody uprising against the Manchu Qing emperor, was led by a peasant claiming to be the younger brother of Jesus Christ; his army at one point controlled a swath of the country home to 30 million people. The persecuted spiritual group Falun Gong – also labelled an “evil cult” by Chinese authorities – operates an openly anti-Communist newspaper and television station from overseas.

“There’s an incentive for politicians to strike back at these groups and their way of thinking, to reassure everyone that everything’s going to be all right,” said Joshua Rosenzweig, researcher at the Centre for China Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. “The most important thing is that they are sending a message of zero tolerance and trying to keep control.”

Authorities have detained a total of 34 people in the south-eastern province of Fujian for spreading rumours, six of them for selling red paper discs emblazoned with apocalypse-proof charms. Another four were accused of encouraging pedestrians to save themselves by handing over their names, phone numbers and addresses. Four were arrested in Hebei and Sichuan provinces for distributing cataclysm-themed leaflets, and another four in the south-western metropolis Chongqing for prophesying via megaphone on the city’s streets.

Some Chinese people have found less subversive ways of dealing with the prophesy. Companies have made waves on social media websites by offering doomsday holidays and bonuses. One farmer in Hebei province built seven buoyant steel-and-fibreglass “survival pods” in his garage. Each costs about £30,000, holds 14 people, and includes oxygen, food, water and safety belts. Another pod-maker in Zhejiang province has received 21 orders for his high-quality, custom-made arks. One sold for almost £500,000.

A farmer in the far-western Xinjiang Autonomous Region spent about £100,000 to build a barge-like ark with 60 tonnes of steel and 30 protective layers of fibre resin. “I invested all of my savings in the construction of this boat,” he told Chinese media. “When the time comes, everyone can take refuge in it.”

The latest report from the National Intelligence Council explores megatrends that will impact America through 2030. The report is a jaw-dropper, as it openly explains that America will be overtaken by China as the world’s dominant economic superpower. It also lays out the likelihood of megatrends such as global economic collapse, wars over food and water, energy scarcity and the rise of the individual against the state.

The full report is available as a download from the National Intelligence Council website.

“In terms of the indices of overall power – GDP, population size, military spending and technological investment – Asia will surpass North America and Europe combined,” the report concludes. Rather than the world being dominated by a single superpower as it is now, China will be the global force to be reckoned with, it says.

The report also warns that if the U.S. government collapses or suddenly weakens, it would set off “global anarchy.” This is especially worrisome, given the accelerating financial debt blowout strategy being pursued by President Obama, who has added more debt to the federal government (by far) than any other President in U.S. history. Now at $16.3 trillion, the national debt is only accelerating, putting the nation on a collision course with certain economic collapse.

The rise of China has already begun

Just this week, China has been seen buying up key assets from the U.S. private sector. A Chinese firm recently won the bid for U.S. battery maker A123, one of the darling alternative energy companies highlighted by the Obama administration. Now, Wanxiang Group Corp. will be purchasing the company for $256 million.

Also today, a Chinese consortium group is purchasing AIG’s aircraft leasing business ILFC for a whopping $4.8 billion, giving China a ready network of private aircraft worldwide.

According to Reuters, China went on a “deal-making spree” in 2012, spending $56.8 billion on acquisitions. A Chinese company has also recently purchased a Canadian energy company Nexen for $15.1 billion.

Earlier this year, a Chinese firm also purchased the AMC movie theater chain for $2.6 billion, giving China near-total control over what movies are shown in America. This has already resulted in one striking piece of editorial censorship with the movie “Red Dawn” which was painstakingly altered to change Chinese enemy soldiers to North Korean soldiers in order to appease the Chinese government. If the film had not been altered, it certainly would not have been shown in AMC theaters, now owned by the Chinese. This is how communist Chinese propaganda has already reached U.S. shores.

We pay China to take over America

So the way this works is that Americans buy cheap plastic crap manufactured in China and sold at Wal-Mart, then China uses that money to turn around and buy America’s energy companies, technology companies and infrastructure hubs. Little by little, China takes over America’s economy and businesses. This is part of the strategy of how China achieves global dominance by 2030.

The rise of China is just of one the many trends outlined in the report. Also noted are the demographic aging of the global population, the continued rise of the population and the urbanization of the population (i.e. more people living in cities). The global population is expected to hit 8.3 billion by 2030, barring the release of a global pandemic which is also flagged by the intelligence report as a possibility. (They most likely know this because they are the same people planning on releasing a deadly pandemic bioweapon as a form of “population control.”)

Food demand will rise 35 percent by 2030, the report warns, and global demand for fresh water will rise 40 percent, reaching 6,900 billion cubic meters. This level of demand is simply not possible to meet with today’s water infrastructure, and the report predicts the rise of regional water wars in Africa and the Middle East, along with severe shortages in India and China.

The report also predicts that global climate change will cause increased radicalization of crops and food production, further worsening resource shortages. Whether a fluke or part of a large pattern, we have clearly seen radicalized weather in North America over the past few years, with 500-year droughts devastating the Midwest this year, and another 500-year drought slamming Texas last year. This has sent price shockwaves throughout the food and feed industries, and food inflation is on track to hit hard in February of 2013.

Also mentioned in the report is the “energy independence” of the USA, which is achieved by exploitation of the huge deposits of oil shale that have already been identified in America. The report concludes that this energy can be extracted in large volumes, returning America to complete energy independence. It does not, however, discuss the environmental impact of extracting and processing all this shale oil.

A tri-polar “liberal world order” with the USA, China and Russia

Some of the language of the report seems to point in the direction of global governance. The report often talks about a “Liberal Order” and “World Order” as if this is the default desirable goal of government.

The report assumes that cooperation among the three world powers – USA, China and Russia – always makes for a better future. It says that a strong USA is important for global stability and that a weakened U.S. government would foment global instability.

Nowhere in the report does it cover the U.S. government’s fall into tyranny and oppression via the NDAA, the highly abusive TSA, the rise of the NSA surveillance state or other areas of concern. Instead, the report supposes that China and Russia might experience a “collapse of authoritarianism” and become democratic partners with America. (And yes, America today has already experience a collapse of liberty!)

America is no longer democratic, however, even in 2012. Vote fraud is rampant, the money supply is controlled by a private banking cartel called the Federal Reserve, and the Bill of Rights has been obliterated by the Patriot Act, the NDAA and other oppressive laws enacted over the last decade. If China suddenly abandons authoritarianism, it will once again find itself opposite the United States which has now openly embraced it. America is emerging as the new North Korea. Not even in communist China do air travelers get sexually molested by government thugs before being allowed to board airplanes.

Questioning the National Intelligence Council’s intelligence

In summary, I have to question the intelligence of this report. It glosses over the real trends of the future – such as the rise of tyranny in America – while proposing many trends that don’t seem to line up with reality.

InfoWars.com also has a far better track record of predicting the future than any number of government intelligence agencies. Alex Jones, for example, correctly and accurately predicted the attack on the 9/11 Twin Towers, months before they took place.

Government “intelligence” agencies have a highly distorted view of reality that comes from a grossly misplaced faith in government itself. Yet what we really see happening in our world is the global failure of governments across Greece, Spain, Japan, America and elsewhere.

The real trend for 2030 is the mass awakening of the individual as people come to realize just how oppressive and evil government has become. As that happens, the people of the world recognize that they have been abused, exploited and ripped off by the governments of the world. The People will rise up against corruption, private cartel banking, oppressive taxation and North Korea-style oppression of freedom and liberty.

That’s the trend the government’s intelligence groups will never see coming because none of them are in touch with real people who work for a living in the private sector (the real world). To work in government, feeding off government and promoting government delusions is to live in a total fantasy land that denies reality. Only those who work in the private sector have an accurate view of economic reality.

By 2030, the United States of America will have already suffered economic collapse and possibly even a popular revolt or revolution. Liberty will rise up against its oppressors, and the global banking cartels will either rule the world or their leaders will have been executed, depending on whether the People awaken in time to save their own futures from economic destruction.

The real trend of 2030 is that America is already an occupied nation ruled and run by Goldman Sachs operatives which include Obama. Elite bankster insiders are attempting to take over the world, and they have already achieved huge successes in that quest across the globe. Can they be stopped before they destroy economic freedom and crush national economies? That’s the real question the intelligence agencies should be asking… if they had any real intelligence.

Things are about to get a little weird. This according to the National Intelligence Council, at least, a US-based coalition of spy agencies that has just released its predictions for what’s in store for the Earth in 2030.

The NIC released on Monday “Global Trends 2030: Alternative Worlds,” an 140-page report that brings together the best brains within the intelligence sector to find out what we might expect a few decades down the road. Given the current rate of growth in technology and medicine, the marvels considered in the NIC report shouldn’t come as all too surprising. Only 18 years down the road, however, the ideas being pitched by the people behind the report might not be as much science fiction as soon-to-be-reality. It also might very well be predictive policy making.

“We are at a critical juncture in human history, which could lead to widely contrasting futures,” Council Chairman Christopher Kojm writes in the report.

With the next few years ripe for experiment, the future is “malleable,” Kojm suggests, making no time like the present to start perfecting space-age advances once thought to be out of this world. On the contrary, though, the NIC seems to think cyborg civilians and instant super-cities are thing of the not-so-distant future.

“Our effort is to encourage decision-makers, whether in government or outside, to think and plan for the long term so that negative futures do not occur and positive ones have a better chance of unfolding,” the Council writes. That influence might be a bit impressive for some, though, as it includes suggestions for the world of tomorrow that will be necessary to advance them human race in order to make use of dwindling resources as populations expand around the globe.

“With shale gas, the US will have sufficient natural gas to meet domestic needs and generate potential global exports for decades to come,” the report suggests in one possible outcome. As inequalities explode across the world though, the experts predict that China and the US become strong allies to tackle global issues.

The “most plausible worst-case scenario,” the report adds, involves the risks of interstate conflict increasing to the point that “the US draws inward and globalization stalls.” From there, “megacities [will] flourish and take the lead in confronting global challenges.”

Another possibility, the writers suggest, is as “inequalities explode as some countries become big winners and others fail. … Without completely disengaging, the U.S. is no longer the ‘global policeman’” according to the Council.

No matter who is calling the shots, though, the NIC seems to think that a generation down the line will be a damn exciting time to be a human being. “People may choose to enhance their physical selves as they do with cosmetic surgery today” in 2030, they predict, at which point the replacement-limb technology is expected by the panel to be prevalent.

“Future retinal eye implants could enable night vision, and neuro-enhancements could provide superior memory recall or speed of thought,” the report adds. “Brain-machine interfaces could provide ‘superhuman’ abilities, enhancing strength and speed, as well as providing functions not previously available.”

And all before Justin Beiber is in his forties!

As the 21st of December nears, Russian authorities are attempting to quell fears that the world will come to end amid panic over what some experts claim are the predictions of the Mayan Calendar.

According to the New York Times, there have been scattered reports of unusual behaviour from across Russia, reportedly prompted by predictions of Armageddon.

The reports include “collective mass psychosis” in a women’s prison on the Chinese border, panic buying of matches, kerosene, sugar and candles, and the building, out of ice, of a Mayan-style archway in Chelyabinsk in the south.

According to some experts, ancient Mayans predicted that the 21st of December would signal the end of a 5,125-year cycle known as the Long Count in the Mayan calendar.

Some parts of Russia, which is often said to have a penchant for mystical thinking, appear to have been spooked by the prediction.

As a consequence the Russian government’s minister for emergency situations has sought to calm panic over the prophecy, saying he had access to “methods of monitoring what is occurring on the planet Earth,” and that he could say with confidence that the world was not going to end in December.

He did, however, make clear that Russians are still vulnerable to “blizzards, ice storms, tornadoes, floods, trouble with transportation and food supply, breakdowns in heat, electricity and water supply.”

Russia’s chief sanitary doctor has also issued similar attempts to calm panicky members of the public, one official has also reportedly suggested prosecuting Russians who spread rumour of the prophecy.

Russia may be the most extreme example of prophecy panic so far, but other countries are also experiencing problems.

In Ukraine the Orthodox Church has issued (a not quite reassuring) message that ‘doomsday is sure to come’, but advised it would be brought about by moral decline and not the: “so-called parade of planets or the end of the Mayan calendar.”

In France, authorities are taking steps to prevent access to Bugarach mountain, which is thought by some esoterics to be a sacred place that will protect them from the end of the world. Reports claim websites in the US have been selling tickets to access the mountain.

IT’S a future far from Ponch and Jon, the Los Angeles-based motorcycle officers of “CHiPs,” a TV series that rose to popularity in the 1970s. In this take on the California Highway Patrol of 2025, patrol cars and motorcycles would be replaced by computerized drones; chips take over CHiPs.

Here, the highway patrol vehicles of the future will be mostly self-driving, if you accept the solutions offered by the entries in this year’s Design Challenge, an annual competition organized in conjunction with the Los Angeles auto show. For the last nine years, the Design Challenge has invited automakers’ advanced design studios to dream up proposals for sci-fi automotive futures tied to specific themes, including cars that weighed less than 1,000 pounds or that were destined for Hollywood roles. This year’s competition asked designers to envision the highway patrol car of 2025.

By coincidence or destiny, designers at several companies came up with concepts for robotic, autonomously driven vehicles on ground, water and air. These future police cruisers — usually presented as story boards rather than actual vehicles — recall today’s Predator and Global Hawk drones, stars of the anti-insurgency efforts. They may give new meaning to those signs that read “Speed limit enforced by aircraft.”

In the future, as the organizers outlined it, “the vehicle should empower highway patrol officers to meet new demands and effectively both ‘protect and serve’ the public while considering not just enforcement needs but emission concerns, population growth and transportation infrastructure.” The world of 2025, the participants seem to agree, will be a place where traffic has grown exponentially, infrastructure has deteriorated, environmental constraints have increased — and highway patrol budgets have been reduced.

As envisioned by Honda R&D Americas’ advanced design studio in Pasadena, Calif., the future Honda CHP Drone Squad includes four-wheel Auto-Drones, like cars, and two-wheel Moto-Drones, like motorcycles. The proposal offers a future where the Auto-Drone functions as something of a command vehicle — manned or unmanned — that deploys Moto-Drones, even while on the move. The Moto-Drones could be rigged for a variety of different response or rescue tasks. While such vehicles might be decades from reality, the flexibility of this strategy could offer companies that built both types of vehicles an advantage in securing government contracts.

At the BMW DesignworksUSA studio in Newbury Park, Calif., designers dreamed up the E-Patrol (Human-Drone Pursuit Vehicle). In this arrangement, the officer and drone would work in harmony, like today’s officers and their K-9 partners. The BMW drone team would be able to deploy a flying drone, which resembles a high-tech Jet Ski cruise missile, or one of a pair of unicyclelike robotic vehicles to chase lawbreakers. And if the suspect doesn’t pull over? In the E-Patrol vision, the BMW designers say, their drone would disable the vehicle with an electromagnetic impulse.

The Subaru Highway Automated Response Concept vehicles, developed by Subaru Research and Development in Japan and designed specifically for Hawaii, are powered by renewable energy — and they have aquatic capability. “The cutting-edge SHARC patrol vehicles will provide an innovative, affordable and environmentally conscious solution for 24-hour highway monitoring,” the designers say.

The Volt Squad, dreamed up at General Motors’ Advanced Design Center in North Hollywood, Calif., is a set of future patrol vehicles that would take advantage of the propulsion system engineered for the Chevrolet Volt. The squad is composed of three different types of vehicles that still contain human officers. Each type is specially designed to observe, pursue or engage — the last term left menacingly undefined.

Judges for the Design Challenge include Tom Matano, director of the industrial design program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco; Imre Molnar from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit; and Stewart Reed, chairman of the transportation design department at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. The winner will be announced on Thursday at an event in conjunction with the auto show

The catch-up boom in China, India, Brazil is largely over and will be followed by a drastic slowdown over the next decade, according to a grim report by America’s top forecasting body.

Europe’s prognosis is even worse, with France trapped in depression with near zero growth as far as 2025 and Britain struggling to raise its speed limit to 1pc over the next three Parliaments.

The US Conference Board’s global economic outlook calls into question the “BRICs” miracle (Brazil, Russia, India, China), arguing that the low-hanging fruit from cheap labour and imported technology has already been picked.

China’s double-digit expansion rates will soon be a romantic memory. Growth will fall to 6.9pc next year, then to 5.5pc from 2014-2018, and 3.7pc from 2019-2025 as the aging crisis hits and investment returns go into “rapid decline”.

Growth in India – where the reform agenda has been “largely derailed” – will fall to 4.7pc to 2018, and then to 3.9pc. Brazil will slip to 3pc and then 2.7pc. Such growth rates will leave these countries stuck in the “middle income trap”, dashing hopes for a quick jump into the affluent league.

“As China, India, Brazil, and others mature from rapid, investment-intensive ‘catch-up’ growth, the structural ‘speed limits’ of their economies are likely to decline,” said the Board.

The fizzling emerging market story is a key reason why the West has relapsed this year. The world is now facing a synchronized downturn all fronts, with little scope for fiscal and monetary stimulus.

“Mature economies are still healing the scars of the 2008-2009 crisis. But unlike in 2010 and 2011, emerging markets did not pick up the slack in 2012, and won’t do so in 2013,” it said.

The Conference Board says Europe’s demographic crunch and poor productivity has reduced trend growth to near 1pc, though it could be worse if the region makes a hash of monetary policy and follows Japan into a “structural deflation trap”. Large numbers of people may be shut out of the jobs market forever.

Germany will outperform Italy and France massively over the next five years, implying a bitter conflict within EMU over control of the policy levers. While the report does not analyze debt-dynamics, it is hard to see how the Club Med bloc could keep its head above water in such a grim scenario or stop political revolt coming to the boil.

Bert Colijn, the Board’s Europe economist, said France’s woes stem from low investment, as well as delayed austerity and reform. The reckoning will now come.

He thinks Spain will fare better since it has already taken its bitter medicine. It is expected to grow at 1.8pc for the next decade as “Schumpeterian” creative destruction clears away dead wood and unleashes fresh energy – a contentious point since labour economists argue that unemployment of 25.6pc is doing permanent damage to parts of the workforce, and therefore to economic potential.

America has a younger age profile and should eke out 2.5pc to 3pc growth until 2018, and 2pc thereafter. It has a big “output gap” of 6pc of GDP to close before it hits any speed limit, so part of this is just the effect of elastic snapping back.

The Board said lack of demand lies behind the current global malaise, but the fading technology cycle may prove a greater threat over the long-term.

The thesis is based on work by professor Robert Gordon from Northwestern University, who argues that the great innovation burst of the last 250 years is a “unique episode in human history” and may be fading. His claims challenge the work of Nobel laureate Robert Solow – orthodoxy since the 1950s – that economic growth is a perpetual process once the right legal and market framework is in place.

The Conference Board’s forecast is starkly at odds with a report by the OECD last week predicting that China would keep growing at 6.6pc until 2030, and India at 6.7pc – propelling the two rising powers to global dominance.

Apostles of the BRICS revolution are certain to dispute the claims. Yet there could be no clearer sign that the emerging market euphoria of the last decade has fully deflated.

Just 20 years ago, astronomers imagined that planets beyond the Solar System would be more or less like the ones we know: small, rocky worlds like Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars orbiting relatively close to their stars, and big, gassy ones like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, farther away. (Even then, Pluto was recognized as an oddball, though it hadn’t been demoted yet.) Then the first actual exoplanet was discovered, and it turned out to be a big, gaseous world orbiting ridiculously close to its star. Dozens of others very much like it soon turned up, and the astronomers’ preconceptions were abruptly laid to rest

But at least these so-called “hot Jupiters” actually orbited a star. Not so for a new planet just reported in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics. The object, known only as CFBDSIR2149, appears to be a planet from four to seven times as massive as Jupiter, floating along with a cluster of stars known as the AB Doradus Moving Group — but tethered to no one star in particular.

That’s the only reason the planet was spotted at all, in fact. If it were orbiting a star, the parent sun’s bright glare would make even a huge planet tough to discern. It would be like trying to see a candle sitting next to a searchlight. The team of French and Canadian astronomers who made the discovery weren’t looking for planets in any case. They were looking for brown dwarfs, objects too big to be classified as planets, but too small to ignite the nuclear reactions that would qualify them as full-blown stars.

But when CFBDSIR2149 showed up in the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope on Mauna Kea, says co-discoverer Etienne Artigau, of the University of Montreal, “we saw that it was very red compared with the typical brown dwarf.” That meant it was relatively cool. It could still be a brown dwarf, but it would have to be billions of years old to have lost so much of its internal heat. If the object were very young, its temperature ruled it out as a brown dwarf at all. In general, says Artigau, “it would not be a trivial thing to distinguish an old, massive object from a young, small one.”

In this case, however, there was an extra clue: careful measurements with the European Southern Observatory’s New Technology Telescope showed that CFBDSIR2149 is moving across the sky in the same direction and speed as the AB Doradus group of stars. It’s possible that this is pure coincidence. The odds are 87%, however, that it is indeed part of the group. And since astronomers know the group itself is between 50 and 120 million years old, that means CFBDSIR2149 is a young planet.

It’s not the first free-floating planet ever found, the scientists hasten to make clear. Astronomers have found indirect hints that many more may be roaming the galaxy, and theorists have no trouble explaining how such a thing could happen. CFBDSIR2149 might have formed originally as part of a solar system and then been sling-shotted out in a close encounter with another massive planet. Or it might have formed directly from a small collapsing cloud of gas and dust.

But while rogue planets like CFBDSIR2149 may be common, this one is uncommon in a very important way: it’s close to Earth, at a mere 120,000 light years from us. At that distance, it’s amenable to detailed study — and indeed, astronomers have already detected the signature of methane and water vapor in its atmosphere.

That’s not the only bit of good luck here. Moving groups like AB Doradus are made up of stars that formed together, but they eventually drift apart. Our own Sun very likely went through a stage like this in fact, but there’s no way to prove it. “After a few hundred million years,” says co-author Jonathan Gagné, a grad student at the University of Montreal, “the stars are so dispersed that we cannot tell to which group they belonged.”

If astronomers had found CFBDSIR2149 just a little bit later (in the cosmic scheme of things, anyway), they might therefore never have figured out that it was a planet at all. As so often happens, science and serendipity joined hands — and new knowledge resulted.

Obama’s re-election has set a number of things in motion behind closed doors that are about to emerge before the Summer of 2013. If anything, Obama’s victory has accelerated the timeline of financial collapse that’s now a foregone conclusion for the United States of America.

Here’s what I see unfolding between now and mid-2013 (or before other dates as stated below):

#1) December 21st, 2012 “Mayan Calendar” day will be a bust

Nothing special will happen on this day other than lots of people meditating globally, which is, in a way, a special thing all by itself. But the universe isn’t coming to an end.

The day after the non-event, watch for the mainstream media to blame “doomsday websites” for claiming doomsday was going to occur. In truth, most alternative websites are claiming nothing much will happen on that day.

#2) Before January 2, 2013, another huge fiat money creation scheme will be initiated by the Fed to prevent a U.S. bankruptcy

The U.S. government won’t be allowed to go bankrupt just yet. Although it has run out of money yet again under the insane debt spending blowout of Obama, the debt ceiling will be raised yet again, and the Fed will print new money to keep buying up U.S. debt.

The long-term effect of this compounding debt spiral is, of course, financial suicide, but that doesn’t seem to occur to today’s zombified voters who are really only concerned with how many handouts they can get right NOW!

#3) Just like he did last year, Obama will use New Year’s Eve (or possibly Christmas Eve) to sign another police state executive order

Last year, Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) executive order on New Year’s Eve, cleverly burying news of the event underneath New Year’s celebrations nationwide.

The NDAA gutted the Bill of Rights and turned America into a bonafide police state, with no due process, no Fifth Amendment, and no Bill of Rights. It authorized secret arrests, secret kill lists of American citizens, and endless secret prison detainment without ever being charged with a crime, among other things. It signified the complete destruction of the Bill of Rights, and Obama signed it in secret.

This year, he’ll use a similar holiday cover to sign some other devastating executive order that, for example, criminalizes criticism of the government (or something else similarly ridiculous).

#4) Massive food inflation will strike the USA beginning in February or March

The droughts of 2012 will be felt via sticker shock at the grocery stores beginning in the first quarter of 2013. Watch for not just price increases on most products made with wheat and corn, but also shrinking food package volumes so that manufacturers deliver less food in a similar-looking package.

Manufacturers will “downsize” their packages, in other words, while keeping prices the same. This is another way food inflation hits home.

#5) The TSA will engage in a massive hiring spree and expansion into the streets, running roadside checkpoints

Pedophiles unite! Buoyed by the Obama surge, the TSA will ramp up its hiring and begin building a literal army of pedophiles, thieves and psychopaths which will soon begin to appear across the USA running roadside checkpoints.

I also predict that the vast majority of Americans are now so brainwashed into a slave mentality that they will gladly agree to TSA body cavity searches on the side of the road in the name of “protecting us from terrorism.”

This isn’t mere conjecture. A brilliant new survey commissioned by InfoWars has revealed that an astonishing 35% of Americans would voluntarily wear “shock bracelets” if required by the TSA in order to fly.

In addition, nearly one-third of Americans would also accept body cavity searches by the TSA as a prerequisite to flying. These disturbing survey results reveal that roughly one-third of Americans have already surrendered their dignity to a slave-inducing police state, and many would actually smile in the name of “security” while they are being medically raped by the TSA in the name of a completely fabricated “war on terror” stolen straight out of the novel 1984.

#6) The expansion of the welfare state will kick into high gear with explosive growth in food stamps and unemployment

Under Obama, food stamps and unemployment claims have already experienced alarmingly worsening numbers. Watch for things to get even worse as more Americans thrown out of work by the failed economic policies of the Obama administration sign up for free food and paycheck entitlements from the government.

This is part of the plan, of course: Gut the economy and make the population entirely dependent on government. From there, it’s a slam-dunk to get elected as a socialist or even a communist, and the U.S. economy begins to take on the look of a nation like Venezuela or Argentina.

#7) A wave of unemployment will gut America’s economy as Obamacare causes employers to fire workers en masse

As Obamacare kicks in (2013 and 2014), employers will do three things to avoid going bankrupt under the financial oppression of socialized health care:

1) FIRE more workers to reduce overall business size.
2) REDUCE workers’ hours to below the government mandated threshold for health care.
3) OFFSHORE more jobs to other countries.

The net effect of this will be, predictably, millions more Americans out of work or working two or three low-paying jobs, none of which actually provide them the health care they were promised by Obama.

#8) A wave of crime seizes America

Following the mass layoffs and slashing of employee hours, the nation will begin to see yet more families and individuals in a state of economic desperation.

This will inevitably lead to more crime as people turn to theft to try to make ends meet. Watch for more copper thefts as well as more emboldened hit-and-run crime tactics (such as motorcycles being driven through shopping malls, smashing jewelry store cases and making off with the loot).

I predict you will see more vehicles smashing through the front doors of retail stores, more home burglaries and more muggings, especially in high-population cities where Obama’s economic policies have the most devastating impact. Right now, Detroit is already a “war zone” where police warn visitors not to enter the city, and Chicago will soon join the ranks of cities where gangs run rampant, outnumbering police by a wide margin.

#9) Another radiological scare will erupt as Fukushima’s fuel polls suffer continued structural failure

This is not a sure thing, but chances are that Fukushima’s remaining structure will suffer a partial or total collapse within the next year, causing an unprecedented release of radiation that will reach U.S. shores.

This could happen at any moment, technically, thanks to another earthquake or tsunami. Even a typhoon could cause sufficient damage to topple a large fuel containment pool. For some inexplicable reason, nuclear fuel pools are stored above ground in the Fukushima facility, making them highly susceptible to environmental damage.

#10) Massive government crackdowns on the free speech of anyone advocating liberty

Watch for free speech to be increasingly called “hate speech” when it criticizes the government or advocates liberty. Watch for renewed efforts to censor internet sites that advocate liberty and freedom. You may see Google removing such sites from its search engine. YouTube will get even more aggressive at banning videos that teach liberty, and the mainstream media will continue to pound propaganda into the minds of the mainstream zombies, teaching them that people who believe in liberty are somehow “terrorists.”

In fact, the next four years will be a tumultuous time for the free speech of those who criticize government and Obama. At the same time, the “free speech” of those who threaten conservatives with violence will be completely tolerated, if not encouraged. Even right now, it is publicly acceptable to make threats of violence against conservative white people, but never against liberal black people.

This double standard will get even worse over the next year or so, to the point where you’ll see TV pundits and comedians like Bill Maher or Michael Moore openly advocating the arrest and killing of anyone who does not believe in Obammunism. The rhetoric of violence is just a preview of what’s coming in the physical realm.

The NDAA, of course, gives Obama the “right” to pursue precisely those actions: No judge, no jury and not even a warrant required!

A revolution is in America’s future

This is all the prelude to the coming “Cultural Revolution” in America, where the political left will soon call for the mass culling of all survivalists, independent farmers, and anyone who follows a lifestyle of self-reliance. Individuality will be seen as a threat to the leftist collective, and those who do now bow down to the power of the police state will not only be arrested and terminated; the mainstream media will CHEER the entire process through hate propaganda disguised as “protecting America from terrorism.”

To help pull this off, a false flag event will almost certainly be staged that depicts some hapless gun owner as a crazy person who poses a threat to society. Watch for another Colorado-style mass shooting, or the bombing of a government building followed by the immediate blaming of a convenient patsy. All the usual suspects on talk radio will also be blamed for it: Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and so on.

What you can do to protect yourself during this rise of terrible evil

There is little question now that those who believe in the real America are sooner or later going to have to take a stand against the Obammunism agenda and the endless hoards of “useless eaters” who now only exist to feed off the government (while confiscating as much wealth from the producers as possible).

How and when this actually happens is anybody’s guess, but it will likely take many years to completely unfold.

I’ve always advocated non-violent revolutions via the ballot box, but at this point it’s obvious that those who suck the economy dry through never-ending handouts are now the voting majority. They now outnumber the innovators, the entrepreneurs and the productive citizens of society. From here, it’s only a downward spiral as citizens repeatedly vote themselves more and more handouts until the entire system collapses in both financial and cultural ruin. As Ron Paul recently said, “America is far gone.”

“We’re over the cliff,” Ron Paul recently said on Bloomberg Television. “People do not want anything cut. They want all the bailouts to come. They want the Fed to keep printing the money. And they don’t believe that we’ve gone off the cliff or are close to going off the cliff. They think we can patch it over, that we can somehow come up with some magic solution. But you can’t have a budgetary solution if you don’t change what the role of government should be. As long as you think we have to police the world and run this welfare state, all we are going to argue about is who will get the loot.”

Preventing the total economic destruction of America will now require a Ron Paul Revolution, where tens of millions of Americans march in the streets and demand an end to out-of-control government and all its evils. Yet, the U.S. government has designated the very act of marching in the streets as an “act of terrorism,” so these protests would almost immediately escalate into a shooting war.

We are nowhere near the point where the population at large is awake enough to engage in such actions, by the way. Things are going to get much worse before they get better.

The next four years are going to be like watching an economic train wreck in super-slow motion, augmented by bursts of police state activity, censorship clamp-downs and of course increased government confiscation of everything you own: Land, money and even formerly private companies.

Today, we are living in an occupied nation, where the vast majority of those who claim to be running the country are, in reality, enemies of the state. They are dismantling, day by day, America’s economy, America’s workforce, America’s industries and even American pride. What will be left in four more years will be nothing but a shadow of the great America we once knew.

Why is it that whenever someone warns about the Mayan Calendar and the end of the world, he is pointing at the Aztec “Stone of the Sun”?

Yes, that picture of the “Mayan Calendar” is not Mayan, and is not even a calendar. The “Stone of the Sun” is a graphical representation of the Aztec cosmology. 

The “Piedra del Sol” (“Stone of the Sun”) simply shows Aztec pictographs that form a calendar.

Yet if you go to Google images, it is identified as “The Mayan Calendar.” 

If they can’t get the Calendar straight, how can we take the prophesy of doom seriously? 

Both, Aztecs and Mayans, had not just one calendar, they had many. 

They both shared cyclical calendars of different durations: 365, 260, and 18, 980 days. 

The “Stone of the Sun” simply shows all the pictographs that represent all those counts (Here’s an explanation of the symbols).

Imagine having a circle with the names of centuries written in the center, years, months and days around them concentrically. Not really a calendar. Close, but you wouldn’t be able to tell which day today is.

The 2012 end of the world date comes from the Mayan “long count” calendar.

This article has garnered so many visitors that we feel compelled to comment. First and foremost the Mayan calendar does NOT “prophecy the end-of-the-world”.

The Mayan calendar is precisely that, a calendar that records the passage of time. Unlike modern annual calendars however, the Mayan calendar marks the passage of many thousands of years not months.

The significance of December 21, 2012 on the Mayan calendar is that it marks the end of one age and the beginning of another. This transition may be accompanied by cataclysmic events or it may not. The important thing is that it marks a point of spiritual evolutionary growth for the planet and humanity.

True, not everyone is going to complete that transition successfully but they probably believe that December 21, 2012 marks the “end-of-the-world” anyway. For many others however the winter solstice 2012 will mark the beginning of a new age of spiritual growth and fulfilment. Ed.
